I was looking at your Sonic Forces post and noticed in some images he has some streaks of white hair on his mustache. How old do you think he is during the game or would it be simply graying from stress?
So I'm not the only one that noticed the streaks!
It's not always easy to see but if you look close enough there's almost always at least a tiny speck of white to be seen in his stache throughout multiple scenes in Forces. It does appear fainter or more prominent depending on the lighting but even when the brown of his stache alternates between lighter and darker in each it can still be, so I don't think it's merely a lighting thing. Here are a few more examples:
The lighting in the Metropolis cutscenes seems to bring it out the most, so that's where I also first noticed it. Then I looked back in previous scenes and noticed it was visible to some extent nearly the whole time.
In fact, in the second Metropolis scene, not only does he have clearer white streaks but you can even see that a stray hair is clearly white too!
Enhance to see that single stray hair looking very white:
Very interesting... 👀
I really hope it was an actual decision to add a bit of white/gray to his stache but there's no way to tell for sure. Still, it's interesting that there's some white in there and I'll see it that way, regardless of whether it's intentional or not! XD
But most evidence points that he's most likely to be anywhere in his 50s (I'd say mid at the youngest) to early 60s, due to various bits of supporting signs throughout official content. We don't know how much time is supposed to pass between games, so I'd say it's still the same for Forces. So yeah, it'd make sense that his stache is finally starting to gray, even if it's a slow and gradual process beginning with a couple small streaks. It's very big so maybe it'll take longer for the whole thing to gray.
In my headcanons, he's been finding gray hairs for some time, from both age and stress. He usually checks his stache for them and tries to hide them because he doesn't want to accept that he's getting older but still hasn't fully accomplished his dream. He also wants to prevent Sonic and friends teasing him for as long as possible even though it'll eventually be inevitable, which is why we don't usually see any gray. He knows he'd still look beautiful if he started to embrace the gray though. 💖💕
But Forces is the one time where things seem to be different! Guess he was just too busy to keep it in check during his six months of owning the world. XD Considering how often he's under a high amount of anger and stress, especially when a certain blue hedgehog interferes, I wouldn't be surprised if it also gives him gray hairs, even before he started getting them due to age. But I also like to imagine that he's genuinely on his way to becoming a silver fox heheh. 💜💘 Or as I like to say, a polar bear gndjsgnfdgd

I wanted to send you your SECOND ask because I loved how you answered the first! What would your characters ideal life look like if they could pick? Do they prefer solitude of nature of the presence of people in cities?? (I guess that’s two asks technically!)
“Well… thing about life, isn’t it? Even when it’s all you wanted, it’s never ideal.”
Those words rasped like the susurration of leaves over forest loam, a hushed murmur past lips unused to parting. Even so, they were enough to banish the silence that lingered as an echo in the question’s aftermath. While the campfire had marked off time in staccato bursts, it seemed to pass only in the occasional crumble of logs beneath, a twinkle of flaring sparks marking each minute regardless of seconds spent.
“Moments, aye, but like life, they’re fleeting. A single memory can be filled with the best an’ worst of ‘em.”
Softer still came the rest, though they shook free the dryness with each syllable and brought his questioner, and perhaps he, himself, back to the here and now. They were muffled, somewhat, by fingers that combed upwards into his too-scraggly beard, passing over a rueful smile and hiding the teeth behind.
“Was never much for cities m’self. Light knows I spent enough time in ‘em. But it’s easier to find solitude amongst the masses, sometimes, than among the trees. Easy to lose yourself in the sights. The sounds, the scents. Cities are filled with lonely souls.”
“Out here, alone? It’s just you an’ your ghosts.”
“An’ if you’re Gilnean…”
“The wolf.”
There had been a time when that was all he’d been. Layer upon layer of them, it seemed, snarling and snapping as they circled the dwindling campfire that was man within. But he suspected all those afflicted felt the same, once upon a time, drowning as they scrambled for purchase in a haze of fur and fangs.
If Dan -had- any fangs, their sight was obscured by a veil of fingertips stroking into the depths of his ‘stache, concealing the remnants of that sorrowful smile beneath. It faded soon enough either way, for no amount of thought would afford him an answer, and his gnarled hand dropped to his lap in, if not defeat, the sort of acceptance needed to move forward.
"I'm looking for someone," he half-breathed, as if the turn of conversation sought to escape whether he meant to speak those words or not. As if he'd said too much, he frowned at the fire before looking to the stars, and for a constellation that'd once filled a night's sky.
Veiled by smoke and encroached upon by the canopy above, they twinkled dispassionately down.
The stars he sought were nowhere to be found.
Leaning in to tap a booted toe against the base of a log about to crumble, he nudged the campfire into a collapse where it would continue to smoulder anew. As the flames flared outwards and began to settle, tawny brown eyes turned to regard the Siren at last.
WIthout the fire’s shine reflecting starkly off their surface, there was a more subtle warmth in the depths beneath, tempered, somewhat, by sorrow. The color of honeyed brandy, they twinkled as a decanter might when crystal’s edge refracted a study’s hearthlight, hinting at the spark of mirth that had yet to die within.
“Suppose if I had an answer, I could stop asking the question of myself as well.”
“I guess... I just want what we all want.”
“Whatever that is.”
Shrugging, he had little more to offer other than a hapless wink and a sharp whistle, rolling the stiffness out of one shoulder before an answering bark came from the woods nearby. Palms on either knee, he pushed to his feet and wandered off into the woods for a walk and a whiz.
((Ahh! Two asks in a row, and both from tumblr royalty! *happydance* Hope you don’t mind me taking the liberty to answer this one in character. -Dan- knows what he’s looking for, or so he thinks. And I hope he finds it! I’m just not sure it’s what he needs... and -neither- of us knows quite how to answer those questions!))

OMG ASKS ARE OPEN!! I've been thinking about requesting for a while now so... Please, please, pretty please a Jaebum hybrid!au. I don't have a paticular plot in mind but maybe something where he can lift up my spirits, cause I've been really stressed these days. Lol. Love youuuuuu~♡
Hybrid!au Jaebum
It was at your parents’ insistence that you had decided to adopt a hybrid.
They were worried about you, and with good reason. You were a young girl who lived alone in the city, you worked a lot and you had never been particularly confident or outgoing. Your mother was constantly stressed about your safety, and she insisted that she would feel much better if you had a hybrid to watch over you at home. A large dog hybrid, preferably, one that could protect you if the need arose.
That was what you’d had in mind when you went to the adoption center. A bright, easygoing dog hybrid that would keep you safe and would be nice company. You followed the employee, who was took through the rooms where the hybrids up for adoption were kept. You had barely reached the dogs when you suddenly spotted one. He was rather large and broad-shouldered, so you wouldn’t have guessed he was a cat hybrid unless you saw the soft, pointy light brown ears peeking out of his head. Most of the hybrids looked rather eager at the thought of being adopted and were watching you with eager expressions. But not this one; he made no move to get up from his curled up corner and merely watched you calmly with a dull expression. He had dark, deep eyes and you found yourself stopping.
“Uh…” you called out for the attention of the employee. “Is he up for adoption?”
The employee blinked at you. “Jaebum? Certainly he is. But I thought you were looking for a dog hybrid? You might be misled by the fact that he’s rather broad-shouldered, but Jaebum is actually a cat.”
You bit your lip. “That’s okay with me.”
The employee blinked at you doubtfully. “Are you sure? I’m only saying because you were looking for a dog and I imagine you wanted someone bright and playful. Jaebum’s not a bad hybrid… but he’s very quiet and doesn’t open up easily. To be honest, he’s been through a lot. He was separated from his brothers in an accident and we’re trying to track them down.”
“Can I talk to him?”
You followed the employee over to where Jaebum was. He didn’t move much to greet you, but lifted his head and watched you with an intense gaze. His eyes flickered between you and the employee, who greeted Jaebum cheerfully.
“Jaebum-ah! This young lady is looking to adopt and she wants to talk to you. Why don’t two chat for a bit, and you can decide if you want to go home with her, huh?” he asked cheerfully. The employee turned and left you alone with Jaebum. You cleared your throat and kneeled down on the floor next to where he was curled up. He still watched you warily and you blinked. You had never had a hybrid before and you weren’t sure how to act around them. Unsure what to do to not offend him, you shakily held out your hand for him to shake.
“Hi,” you greeted nervously.
Jaebum’s eyes flickered down to your hand warily. No wonder he was a cat; there was something extremely sharp and intelligent about his gaze. He merely looked at it and flicked his tail lightly, ignoring your hand.
“Do you plan to tie your hybrid up?” he asked you bluntly.
You stared at him, eyes wide. “W-what? No! Do people even do that to cats? I wouldn’t dream of tying a hybrid up. As long as, you know, you don’t run away or anything. Not that I wouldn’t let my hybrid go anywhere, I’d just hope that he’d let me know whenever he was going somewhere…”
“I thought you wanted a dog.”
“Ahh… that was sort of what my parents wanted. But they live in the countryside and they’re never really going to visit me so they wouldn’t find out whether you’re a dog or a cat, would they?”
“So you plan to lie to them.”
“Uh….”
Jaebum turned away from you, resting his head on his hand and averting his gaze. You felt a little embarrassed. Had you just been rejected by a hybrid? It wasn’t a very pleasant feeling. You stood up slowly, trying to hide the fact that your cheeks were burning red and quietly exited the room. It hadn’t really occurred to you that the hybrid might reject you as an owner and now you were feeling really weird. You smiled forcefully at a couple of the other hybrids that watched you with hopeful eyes in the other rooms, and then trailed to the front desk.
“Uh, I think I’m just going to come back on another day…” you explained hesitantly to the woman behind the desk. She blinked at you in surprise.
“Oh! Are you sure? Did Jaebum scare you off? He’s a little hostile but he has a good heart, I promise. Why don’t you wait here and I’ll go talk to him. We have plenty of more playful hybrids if you’d like…” she trailed off and disappeared into the other room.
You bit your lip and sighed, wishing she would just let you leave. Part of you scolded yourself for thinking that things would be easy with a hybrid. They weren’t just animals, they had human emotions and you couldn’t pick and choose human beings like vegetables in the market. You wanted to leave but the woman behind the desk returned in a few moments and beamed at you.
“Looks like you left a good impression with Jaebum! He wants to be adopted by you. Or did you want to look at some more dogs, like you originally intended?”
You blinked. “He wants to be adopted?”
“Yup!”
X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X
Two days after adopting Jaebum, you were wondering whether the woman behind the counter had lied to you.
Jaebum didn’t seem particularly… upset or dissatisfied with you. Rather, he just looked uninterested in everything around him. You tried your best to make him comfortable. You googled the sort of food cat-hybrids liked best, and made sure your fridge was always stocked with them. You cleared out the spare room in your apartment that you’d been using as a storeroom and made him a bed in it.
You worked long hours and often came home late at night to find Jaebum already asleep. He never closed his bedroom door, he just opened one eye to watch you through the darkness as you made yourself dinner and left a glass of milk beside his door. In a way… you didn’t mind that he was so quiet. At least he was extremely low maintenance and never made a mess of the apartment.
Still… you wished he would talk to you sometimes.
One day, you finally worked up the courage to ask.
“Are you… happy here?” you blurted out.
Jaebum, half-way through a glass of milk, blinked up at you from where he was curled up on the sofa. He had a hint of a milk-stache but he wiped it away with the back of his hand instantly and blinked at you with his deep eyes.
You cleared your throat. “I mean… am I a bad owner? I know I work long hours and I’m not around a lot. But if there’s something I’m doing wrong or something I can do to make you happier, then I wish you would tell me. if it’s within my control then I would do it for you.”
He blinked. “I’m fine,” he said quietly.
You resolved to make Jaebum open up more. Maybe it was your fault for letting the atmosphere get so awkward. You tried to come home earlier to catch Jaebum before he went to sleep and you started talking to him. Regardless of whether he responded to you or not, you told him about your day. You talked about the assignments you were doing at work, how you and your co-workers had found a lovely new cafe at lunchtime and how your boss was being mean about deadlines. You invited him to watch television with you and asked him which movies he liked.
To your delight, Jaebum warmed up to you slowly. He came out of his room whenever you came home, and sat at the kitchen counter while you prepared dinner. He rarely responded to your ranting and chattering about work, but one of his ears was always perked up and you knew he was listening. He would curl up on the sofa whenever you watched television and if he didn’t like the channel you were watching, he would blink at you and stare pointedly at the remote. (Apparently Sex and the City reruns were not to his taste). He even started to help around the house. You came home certain days to find the dishes done or the laundry folded. When you thanked him, his cheeks flushed a light tint of pink but he didn’t respond.
It all seemed to be going well, until things got worse at work. There was a huge new client contract and your boss had you working overtime almost every day. You were exhausted from listening to his nagging and the stress of the work was getting to you. Jaebum waited up until you got home and you could see the slight worry in his eyes as you went straight to bed, dinner and bath forgotten.
Soon, even sleep began to evade you. Somebody new had moved in next door and apparently they enjoyed blasting loud music at night. You weren’t one for confrontation so you tried to ignore it, but the thumping music had you tossing and turning in bed at night. Finally one day, you’d had enough. You got up and marched straight out of the apartment in your pajamas, Jaebum’s wary eyes following you as you walked out.
You knocked loudly on you neighbour’s door. “Excuse me? Could you turn the music down a little?” you yelled through the front door.
The door swung open and you were greeted with the smiling face of an extremely handsome man. He stared you up and down and then grinned. “Ah! Hi, neighbour. I’m Jackson Wang. We’re having a housewarming party right now, so why don’t you come in and grab a beer?”
Your head was throbbing and your nerves were on edge. You forced a smile at this Jackson and shook your head. “It’s a weeknight. I’ve been working long hours and I have to get to office early tomorrow. Could you please turn the music down? I’m sure the other neighbours are disturbed too.”
He laughed. “I don’t see anyone complaining.”
You felt your cheeks flush red in humiliation as Jackson shut the door in your face and you were left standing there alone. You glanced back at your front door to see that Jaebum was peeking at you; great. So he had seen you get completely ignored too. Could this get any better? You began to trudge back to your apartment when Jaebum walked out.
“Uh-Jaebum…”
He didn’t look at you, he merely walked past you and banged loudly on Jackson’s door. Jaebum was usually sitting curled up but at his full height and with his broad shoulders, he looked rather scary and intimidating. When Jackson reopened the front door, Jaebum simply shoved him aside and stormed into his apartment. You followed him in horror, watching as Jaebum shoved past a few people and reached the sound system. He grabbed a bunch of cords and pulled hard, plunging the party into silence.
Jackson gaped. “What the- who the hell are you-”
“Keep it off,” Jaebum hissed at him, his eyes flashing dangerously. You were still in shock as Jaebum came over to you, grabbed your hand gently and pulled you back towards your own apartment. He led you inside before shutting the door behind him and locking it firmly.
You blinked. “Jaebum… what if he gets mad?”
“I’ll handle it,” he said firmly. You watched as Jaebum coolly went over to the sofa and curled up in his usual spot, closing his eyes. You felt a sudden warmth in your chest and you smiled at him. Gently approaching him, you sat down beside him and cleared your throat.
“Thank you, Jaebum.”
He blinked at you for a long moment, before suddenly tilting his head downwards so that you could only see the top of his head and his messy hair. He pointed at his head and then cleared his throat. “Pat,” he said simply.
You stared at him. “Huh?”
His cheeks were flushed pink but he was trying to hide them from you by ducking his head. Jaebum merely lifted your hand and placed it on his own head gently. “When I do something good, you… pat,” he mumbled.
Oh. You suddenly understood what he wanted. Unable to resist a giggle, you stroked the top of his head in a gentle manner. His hair was soft and you could feel the warmth of his skin. You peeked at his face to see that he had closed his eyes and had the slightest hint of a smile on his mouth. You resumed the patting, letting your fingers run through his hair and smiling when he let out a quiet, contented purr.
Maybe Jaebum was just a big cat after all.
X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X
@ijustwantacue, I’m not sure if this is what you wanted but I hope you liked it! I’ve never written a hybrid!au before and I’ve read very few so I wasn’t sure how to go about it. But tsundere!Jaebum and protective!Jaebum are my secret fantasies, so lol. I hope you feel less stressed!!!!

Dr!Tim Drabble: Robin
Well, Babes. You both must have fucking read my mind and shit because really. I kind of started this to be such a teaser when BOOP I got this ask and my fucking heart here. You’re right on the same page when it comes to Dr!Tim getting the real Robin experience, yeah? Lol. So, just a note. B’s bad guy persona is Matches. The dude with the epic porn ‘stache. Dick’s persona is Robbie Malone, which is pretty obscure and I looked it up on a good wiki to make sure.
HOWEVER *ahem* An incredible artist @kaciart did a thing here: http://thingsfortwwings.tumblr.com/post/55338349568/kaciart-it-was-never-made-clear-whether-tim-knew. Which helped the muse.
So… so there’s that. XD Hope it's as good.
**
The Robin in Gotham that night is just a little bit taller. Not by much. He's hesitant, a newbie to the vigilante game, and even if he's got a grapple on his belt, he only uses it once. Only a drunk or two catch him strafing across rooftops, the flicker of yellow, red, and green against the lamplight.
The rest of the city is asleep. As luck would have it, he stumbles on some baddies with a leg up on him, tossing a pellet in the right spot with knockout gas to make carrying him through the night that much easier. When Robin comes to, the blurry residual clears and behind the whiteouts, his vision is sharp. Being handcuffed in a crummy warehouse in the Narrows is not really the way he'd hoped to spend his first real experience in the tunic.
(And if he embarrasses the name, a certain little demon will probably eviscerate him.
"I allow you one night–"
"To my credit, I really thought those ninjas would go down easier."
"May I remind you–"
"I know, I know. It's not one of my hobbies. No more almost getting killed under your name, I promise.")
But a single dim bulb hangs with enough away to reveal the long, lean line of muscle still half in shadows watching him from behind whiteouts.
"Been a real pain in my nut, Robin." Is more dangerous behind the synths, more casual when the Red Hood, notorious enforcer for the Black Mask, straightens up and starts to move forward. "Gettin' in my fucking business means I gotta make an example outta ya, so’s no one else thinks they can stop the trade, you feel me?" Robin's eyes narrow but his pulse is picking up, his muscles tighten against the ropes.
“Or,” he tries with a bravado he doesn’t necessarily feel, “you could cut this chase short and let me take you in so you don’t make it worse for yourself.”
The sound is probably a snort but the synths make it hard to decipher.
“Mmhm, an’ any other damn day, ya might be right. But since I know the Bat is outta town, and the rest a’ yer little cape n’ cowl crew are busy, n’ yer own yer own, little birdy. Even fucking better, I got me an old friend in Gotham t’night, and I gotta say–” the way Hood moves, hips swaying, something of a swagger, all indications the vigilante has a plan, makes Robin catch a breath with what the hell else?
“Ya might be in over yer head.”
And oh God.
He’s in for it.
(Teasing his boyfriends can have some interesting results, so even with the plan they’d had for him tonight, there were so many things they hadn’t told him.)
Because the shift in the shadows and the crimson slash is just what the bad guy ordered, and the man coming out of the shadows to stand beside Hood is nothing short of mouth-wateringly dangerous– all done in sharp black and red.
Something in Robin’s abdomen goes unbearably tight when Renegade puts the intense focus of those whiteouts right on him, folds his arms over his chest, and his tongue darts out to lick his lips.
Even while he might be melting into a puddle of oh God, please, please, I’ve been a bad Robin, he can maneuver his hands well enough to get into the green gloves for the small lockpick set he’d completely kyped out of B’s utility belt the last time they’d had a little snatch n’ stitch. Since he’s completely used to working with fine instruments wearing gloves, working the small end into the handcuffs is easier than he’d originally calculated.
(So much win going on right now.)
“So nice to know you’ve got friends in town, Hood. I hope you have an itinerary to show him the sights. Robinson Park is really nice this time of year.” He tries to keep the banter, give himself time he needs to work the cuffs.
(Still, watching them walk toward him like a fucking bad ass wet dream is really making the night look up regardless of how things are going to go from here.)
“Too much mouth on ya, Robin,” and the flex of hips and thighs, the glint off the gun in Hood’s hand, the feral-looking smirk on Renegade’s face make him take a pause to work his fingers into the back of the utility belt, bite down on his lower lip to try and get–
Yes.
“Looks like we need to shut him up, Hood,” is Renegade’s deep response, that tone rolling around in the abandoned warehouse, makes a shiver work up his spine.
Which causes him to drop the pellet he’d been holding, the little ball rolling right under his chair.
Fuck. That’s bad.
He tries to think fast, using his weight to throw his chair back, out of the way of the little blast and following plumes of smoke. It’s really nothing more than dumb luck that the chair is probably older than all of them and pretty much breaks into kindling on impact.
It’s even luckier that the small blast is inconsequential but the smoke screen gives him the opportunity to wiggle enough to get his cuffed wrists down far enough to get his feet over them so at least his hands are bound in the front.
Rolling to his feet, he tries to duck away from the chair in the thick smoke, cape hitting him in the back of the ankles, and fucking right, he didn’t even lose the lockpick.
(“Damn. Good one, Baby Bird. Didn’t see that shit coming.”
“This is going to be much better than we thought, Jay.”
“Fuck right, Dickie, now we gedda chase.”
And with that little revelation, Robin is thinking, looking around at the high windows, making plans.)
He flips one of the few bat-a-rangs in his utility belt, awkwardly holding it up to throw with his bound hands. He manages throw far enough to knock it into an empty crate further down than where he’s hiding, but it draws the attention of the “baddies” coming through the dissipating smoke after him.
It does the job and he sees the outline of Hood and Renegade change course, closer to the sound.
“You’re only making it harder on yourself, Robin,” Renegade purrs low, his footsteps not even making a sound when he shares a side-eye with Hood and moves around to take the back for the element of surprise.
“When we catch ya,” Hood is cooing through the synths, popping the clip out of his .45 to make sure again he’s toting blanks (the one in his boot has the rubber rounds should things get dicey and they need ta make with the real crime fighting) before he circles around the smoky pile of old pallets and crates laying in dusty ruin, “we ain’t gonna be nice ‘bout it, you feel me, Robin? Gonna make ya one sorry lil’ bird.”
(But he totally hears, “gonna fuck ya until ya scream for it, Baby. Gonna make ya come ‘til ya can’t even stand up no more.”)
The handcuffs finally pop as the two bad guys jump in their planned strike, coming down on a whole lotta empty pallets with only a bat-a-rang there for them to stare at.
“Little motherfucker,” is all he needs to hear, shoving the handcuffs in his belt (in case he needs to have a plan) and pulling the grapple while his pulse throbs in his mouth and his adrenaline kicks up a notch. He’s got to shoot and reel himself in before they get to him, got to get out the upper windows and climb to the roof, got to at least get a few buildings over before they catch him.
(And he completely has a new appreciation for the reinforced jocks they wear under the suits because the things is literally killing him right now.)
The bang makes him flinch regardless, and with that, the jig is completely up. Two heads swivel toward the sound, trace the line up to the window sill where the hook sinks deep, and the shadow of the cape flares out like wings as the grapple pulls Robin from the ground and away.
“Fuck this is gettin’ good,” Hood breathes out, already pulling his own, watching the flex of Timmy’s thighs in those fucking tights and his ass outlined in Robin Red.
The window breaks with his momentum, and Robin pauses on the broken sill long enough to grin widely down at them, “I really need to be on my way, but we should do this again sometime!”
The cap flaps around the green tights and black boots as Robin scales the ancient fire escape and disappears out of sight.
Renegade puts a hand on his wrist, stills Hood from raising the grapple for the ole’ point-n-shoot. “Let him get a little bit of distance, Jay. He’s putting a hell of a lot into this.”
“Big Wing,” and even with the whiteouts on both sides, he knows how dark Dickies eyes are, is pretty sure his are just as dark. “ we’re gonna destroy that ass, you feel me?”
“You know we are. Damn, he looks cute in that suit.”
“Cute? Nah, ain’t where I’m at right now, yeah? Motherfucking sexy is ‘bout what I’m feelin’.”
“Fuckable, sure, but wow, he wears it so well.”
“Don’t tell Demon. That little shit won’t never let this happen again.”
“Right. We play it out with our boyfriend, fuck him on a safe rooftop, then take him home for a soak in the tub and cuddle-palooza.”
“You better fuckin’ add pancakes ta that list, Dickie. I like seein’ ‘im all full n’ sleepy after we fucked ‘im but good.”
“Done and done.”
In a smooth move, Hood raises the grapple again and loops his free arm around Renegade’s waist, pulling his Baby Boy right into his body.
The two vigilantes pause in the moment, and Renegade raises both hands quick, hits the right spot on the back of the helmet to release the catch, pulls the damn thing off so they can have just a second–
And anyone looking in the dilapidated warehouse down by Dixon Docks in that exact moment would be scandalized to see the Red Hood and Renegade writhing against one another, caught up in the taste of one another, just a tease before the grapple starts to reel.
**
Robin is panting with the effort, tries not to get tangled in his cape, tries to keep his eyes open to everything around him with the sharp vision he gets behind the whiteouts.
Luckily for him, he’s shaking off the residual of the sedative and this area of the city is one so absolutely familiar, he already knows he’s got an edge.
The same spots from those days when he was a kid with a camera, hiding while he followed the flying vigilantes are obviously still there, could still give him a place to duck if he thinks his pursuers are getting too close. If Dick and Jay had really been paying those old photographs in the shoebox enough attention, they’d probably be able to pick out the majority of his hidey-holes and make this game come to a quick and abrupt end (he’s hoping they don’t because he’s really, really enjoying this).
But, he’s already evaded them three times and he’s still too damn far from his apartment to believe he’s anywhere near home free.
Which is why he’s wasting time ducked down between two massive air conditioning units on the Mylar building instead of in Renegade and Hood’s path. A few feet away is an old bridge the maintenance crew used to get up to the next roof, giving him an out to use the grapple for a swing and give himself away.
He waits until the shadows recede and he can’t see either of them before he darts out and takes the bridge at a run, making a leap that immediately gets his adrenaline back up.
His chest is heaving a little because the climb is about a bitch.
A hard jerk on the suspension bridge takes him by surprise as both villains” land it on either side of him, effectively boxing him in.
Well, fuck.
He pulls the grapple since, you know, the jig is up, but an escrima stick knocks the damn thing from his hand, and no amount of time he’s spent in the gym or hard-core parkour is going to get him out of this little sitch.
(Dammit. Trapped.)
Renegade clicks his tongue, “tsk, tsk, Robin. Nice try, but you should have tried to stay ahead of us. That might have gotten you home free.” And the two start advancing on him, getting closer. Robin looks from one to the other, bites down on his lower lip–
Until the plan pops into his head.
“Gonna enjoy this, little bird,” Hood drawls out, “after the run ya gave us.”
Panting, Robin tries to make the move subtle enough to miss, back up just a step, tries to make it look like he’s searching for a way out when he looks over the bridge and all the way down.
The action works because both villains jump for him at the same time, trying to keep him from throwing himself over, and it gives Robin just enough of a chance to let his knees give out from under him and fake fall to the wobbly bridge so Renegade can careen over his head at the same time Hood smacks into him, landing the two in a heap right at Robin’s feet.
The knock of Hood’s helmet against Renegade’s forehead gives him a crucial moment to slam the handcuffs he’d kept down on the Red Hood’s left wrist and Renegade’s right one, pushing the sides closed to cuff the two together.
(Oh fuck is he winning here.)
He’s already moving back while they untangle themselves and stare at their cuffed wrists before slowly, ever so slowly, turning to him.
“Well, damn.” And if he didn’t know better, he’d say Hood was, well, impressed.
(I have other hobbies, asshole, remember?)
“The surprises keep coming,” Renegade already climbing to his feet is grinning widely, Hood following in a smooth motion. “Too bad it isn’t going to save you, you know.”
“I just need to keep you two on–”
When he would have finished off the banter portion with on your toes, what he gets is the terrible sighing sound breaking the night, followed right by a sharp twang that is all too fucking familiar.
(Why do bridges have a tendency to break while he’s on them? Seriously now?)
His whole body jerks up, head turning to the sight of the old bridge coming apart and falling from under him, making him gasp in hard enough to hurt, making his knees knock, making a hard reality of Oh God, not again.
But cuffed arms brace under his and the bang of grapples firing shakes him out of breath-stealing panic, Hood and Renegade working in tandem to send the three of them flying through the night while the bridge crumbles to Gotham’s dirty sidewalk below.
Effortlessly, the villains land them on the Mylar, setting the three of them down in the shadows where one side of the building keeps it absolutely hidden away.
“Holy shit,” Robin pants out, held up between Hood and Renegade, his chest heaving under the tunic. “That...was not part of the plan.”
“Good to know,” Renegade lays his forehead against the base of Robin’s neck, exhaling slowly, moving his free hand down to push the cape out from between their bodies, to twist it around his hand for the next step.
“I’ll fuckin’ say,” Hood deactivates the helmet and tosses it down, moves a step closer to sandwich Robin between the two of them. With just a dom, his eyes are dark blue without the flecks of jade which means he’s probably still riding a little bit of the adrenaline from the almost-oops.
Robin looks up and over when Hood holds up his cuffed hand and arches a brow. “Still, ya gonna have ta work on them plans, Rob, if ya wanna get the better of us, yeah? This ain’t bad, but that don’t mean–”
And Robin gasps when his gloves wrists are gathered up by the cuffed hands, pulled over his head to stretch his body taunt.
Renegade is leaning down to talk against his ear, growling low and so fucking dangerous, “–you’re going to get away this time. Sorry, little bird. Looks like we win.”
**
Apparently things like capes are weapons and should not be used against him.
Or...well, maybe he’s going to re-think that since his wrists are bound together tight before they even worked the tunic open.
Renegade is keeping Robin’s bound arms down with a knee and a gloved hand over his mouth to make sure the noises are nice and quiet, kept between just the three of them. Hood had picked the cuffs in approximately two seconds to give them both a chance to get to work on making sure the young vigilante knew he was fucking around with the real deal.
The utility belt came off, lying just out of reach and Robin’s thighs spread open with less fight than anticipated.
The struggling, the writhing against Hood’s crotch, the straining muscle and taunt hold is just this side of perfect. For a little show, Hood pulls out a wickedly sharp knife, the glint dull in the night, leans down over Robin’s body and slides the sharp end of the blade right over the base of his throat, bare now that his cape is gone.
(But even though Timmy’s is half-assed struggling, he ain’t scared. No fear in those eyes, yeah?)
“Better be a good little bird, Rob. I like ta keep m’ implements nice n’ sharp. Don’t wanna make me slip by accident.”
Renegade’s hand on the younger vigilante’s mouth pulls so the head tilts back, eyes looking up. “I’ve known Hood for a long time, kid. You don’t want to see the master at work.”
When the struggling stops and the only thing Robin is doing is panting against Renegade’s hand, the sharp edge eases up slightly, slides down his chest, the tip fitting right under the tunic’s laces.
“Atta boy. Make it easier on yerself. Ain’t nobody gonna find ya, so don’t gotta have it rough unless ya wanna.”
“He might like it that way, Hood.” The first lace gives without hesitation. “Maybe we should go a little hard on him to find out.”
The second lace.
“But lookit how cute he is, Baby Boy. Gonna show ‘im just how things gotta go down on our side a’ the law, ain’t we? That don’t mean we gotta get nasty ‘bout it long as he behaves himself.”
The third.
Finally, the two villains are finally getting a little skin, and a gloved hands runs down Robin’s collar bone, moves to thumb and tweak until the little nub under is tight.
The hand on Robin’s mouth tightens down when the moan cuts through the stillness.
“He needs to learn, Hood. He can’t mess with business and get away without paying the price.” The thumb on Robin’s face moves over the domino and the whiteouts slide down, showing half-mast eyes, darkening by degrees.
“Mmhm. That’s the thing ‘bout Gotham, ain’t it?” And the hands moving down, pull hard, rip the tunic until there’s nothing in his path except the tights and reinforced jock. “Always got consequences, Rob, and you? You ain’t any different.”
The telltale tremble in his thighs makes the Red Hood grin wide and white (don’t be breaking character yet, Baby Bird. We gotta whole lotta play still left), and he’s nothing but a nasty bastard when he runs both hands up the inside of those thighs, grips tight to make sure there’s gonna be bruises there tomorrow.
Since he and Dickie pretty much engineered this whole thing (and made a suit with strategized weaknesses), the tights give under his hands, ripping open from the waist to the knee. He hands a sizeable strip to Renegade and leans down over Robin’s body, giving a little bit of distraction while his partner in crime moves just long enough to tie the strip in their little vigilante’s mouth.
“Much better.” He palms the grapple in his freed hand, and pulls out the line, throws the hook to catch on the lip of the roof and wrap the other end to keep Robin from going anywhere. Renegade pulls off the head piece, is in just a domino so he can flick the catch of his suit and pull it down to bare a tantalizing v-ee of his chest.
With the suit ripped away, helpless to whatever they planned to do to him on a roof in the middle of Gotham, Robin is gagged and panting, his chest stuttering with it, going pink down his collarbone and upper chest.
(Fingers slide into one of his bound hand, and the metal ball gives a soft jingle. All he has to do is drop it if he needs to stop, all he has to do is give the signal. He’s in control, he’s in control, he’s in control–)
And the feel of Hood’s gloves on his hip bone, tearing the strap on the reinforced jock makes his hips twitch, makes him unconsciously arch into the touch even when his hard cock springs up into the cool Gotham air.
“That’s smart kid. This’ll go easier for you if you try to enjoy it.” Renegade palms the vial in his suit and holds it up where the can both see it, smirks at the muffled noise right beside his thigh.
Hood grins back at him and pops the lid, dribbles lube on his fingers and lifts one of Robin’s calves for Renegade to hold. He hoists the other, runs his slick fingers over Robin’s balls, tugs a little, slides his forefinger up the underside of the vigilante’s straining cock, just a tease.
Getting his suit down far enough with one hand, Renegade shakes Robin’s leg, palms the side of his face to turn him, gets a load of those eyes, “My partner here is going to give you the fuck of a lifetime. And you? Are going to suck me while he does it.”
The jock is gone, and Robin gasps in hard through his nose, those eyes rolling over the length, teeth biting down on the gag in his mouth. He watches, mesmerized, as the gloved hand strokes himself, makes himself harder, gives Robin a preview to what he’s about to get.
When Hood spreads him open wider, slick and blunt finger sliding in, moving fast and hard, making Robin’s spine arch while he watches Renegade jerk off right in front of his face, mouth watering for it, his cock aching, his body clenching when one finger becomes two, and the desperation for more is starting to take over.
Pulling against the zip line isn’t doing anything for him because he can’t move, is caught between them, is already making noises with his body anticipating Hood (Jay) making him utterly senseless while he sucks Renegade’s thick cock to the fucking base.
(This is the best thing to ever happen.)
A jerk of his hips and a third finger slides in, gives him only a few thrusts against his spot, just enough for Hood to smirk and finally pull out.
“Gonna keep ya nice n’ tight fer me, Robin,” and while he’s been prepping the vigilante, he’d pulled himself out, lubed himself up to press right against the prize waiting for him. “But don’t worry. Since yer being a good, little bird, we’ll make sure you get yers.”
And Robin throws his head back, body arching in a clean line as well as he can with his legs caught and hands restrained. His fist tightens on the bell, keening through his gag as Hood pushes in, gives a few slow back-and-forths until he’s balls deep with a long moan.
“Lookit you taking all of his dick on the first go,” Renegade purrs down at him, and thumbs the gag out of his mouth, puts a finger over his lips. “Good for you, little bird. Now you’re going to give me mine. Don’t make me have to tell you to be very good.”
Renegade pulls with fingers on his jaw, and Robin opens up without a fight, taking the wide head in, moaning around it. Hood finally gets the point that he’s sure he isn’t going to come immediately when he moves, changing his hold to fit the bend of Robin’s knee and hoist his hips up higher, makes sure he’s in as far as he can possibly go (just the way Timmy likes it), then pulls back, starts up a few slow-n’-easies before he picks up the pace.
And Robin’s eyes are fluttering behind the domino, sliding his tongue around Renegade’s cock, leaning closer when he can take more, when he can take it deeper--
And suck.
“Holy–” and the villain’s hips twitch, a gloved hand threading into his hair, holds him still as hips twitch and fuck his mouth in shallow thrusts. “Fuck, know what you’re doing, don’t you Robin? Ah, you’re going to love my cock by the time we’re done with you.”
“Ya kiddin’ me, Baby Boy? Fuck him and you’ll be in love with his ass. Like a fucking vice.” And Hood leans over Robin’s body to get a better view of Renegade’s hips twitching, cock sliding in and out of his mouth, of Robin’s cheeks hollowing, of his jaw moving, of the tight nubs they’re both absently working.
In a calculated move, Renegade gives Hood a wink, and they both draw back, leave just the tip in him, gets a low noise for the effort, and fuck back into him with a vengeance.
“That’s right, little birdie. Found yer sweet spot, yeah?” And the strokes inside him are long and firm and fast, his spot abused by each one, making the pressure in his belly start to burn.
Renegade keeps up with a smooth, steady pace, sliding over his tongue, spilling pre-come in his throat, staring down as he pants, watching Robin take every fucking inch.
He’s moaning around the width in his mouth, in his throat, trying to suck, trying to scream while his cock throbs and the R still partly on his chest gleams in the night.
Hood’s balls slapping against his ass, and Renegade panting, groaning out above him, and a gloved hands fists him at the base, starts stroking him in time with the hits to his spot.
And the rhythm is driving, pound, rushing, his pulse racing in his ears, struggling to get a breath, but it’s all toomuchmoremoremore that he can’t think past the need to come, whimpering in his throat when he can, and trying to move his hips up into the fist pumping him and down into the pound thrusts driving him closer and closer to the edge.
“That’s right, give it up, Robin,” Renegade pants, groans down at him, working his hips, fucking into that throat, “you’re gonna take everything we give you, and when you go back to the Bat, you’ll remember just what you get when you stick your nose where it doesn’t belong.”
Hood draws back to fuck in hard, tightening his hand down and speed up. “We’re gonna make sure this lessons sticks, Baby Boy. Fill ‘im up good, make sure he knows what happens ta bad little birdies.”
Robin screams around Renegade’s cock when fingers tease the tip of him and hips ground into deep, trying to move but he’s helplessly caught.
When Renegade leans down over him, talks low and feral, fucking into his mouth with fast, hard jerks, getting harder against his tongue, when it’s those blue eyes with the haze of need and want, (when it’s Dick talking to him), when the words, “come for us, baby,” are breathed so soft and fond, his body lets go, the knot of tension exploding, sending tingling pleasure from his ass to his cock to his nipples and spreads out until his eyes are rolling back in his head and all he can do is suck Renegade’s come down his throat while the pleasure loops around and keeps him going.
“Fuck, baby,” (Is Jay instead of–) Hood yells to the night sky, Robin’s body milking him, tightening down so hard, so fast, so wet, that he comes with a jolt, burying himself deep to fill the vigilante up.
And while Gotham remains completely serene at this time of night, three (two, technically) caped crusaders are laying out on the roof of the Mylar building in a tangle of limbs, panting, and weak, and so amazingly sated.
Boneless and content not to move another inch in his life, Tim manages to slide a gloved hand out of the knot made from the cape, and wipe his mouth, absently keeping track of his heart rate.
Dick is curled around his upper body, idly running fingers through his hair, the Renegade costume zipped half-way up his chest so he doesn’t get a whole lot of roof rash. On his other side, Jay has a heavy arm over his bare hips, a leg thrown over his and the Kevlar feels just as good on bare skin as it always does.
“That? Was fucking amazing,” he murmers, drowsy, shivering slightly now that he realizes he’s pretty much naked on a roof in the middle of the city after being fucked out of his mind, and somehow--
This is his life.
So it’s good when his vigilante boyfriends recover enough to maybe get them the hell off this roof before people like, office staff start coming into the Mylar’s upper floors for work.
Dawn is riding the horizon when he’s pulled to his feet and wrapped in Robin’s cape, rocking a toga to cover the torn suit and tunic, and carried off by his vigilante boyfriends so he can be absolutely lazy and just let Dick then Jay take him flying.
He has to make his body work when maneuvering through the window with shaky legs. Jay gives the helmet a toss in pretty much the direction of the kitchen table before picking Tim up by the back of his thighs, and let their doctor squawk but still flops his upper body flops over Jay’s shoulder.
Dick has the Renegade suit hanging off his hips, moving around the kitchen bare-chested with a domino, making coffee that is desperately, desperately needed.
“I’ll be there in a sec! I was promised cuddles, Jay, and I expect you two to deliver.”
“Bath first, Big Wing. Gotta let Timmy take a soak. Getcha ass in here so’s we can wash ‘im but good.” The abrupt smack and corresponding yelp from the path down the hall toward the direction of the bathroom makes Dick smirk and quickly scoop the grounds in while trying to get a glove off with his teeth.
“‘Sides, we might need ta give Sweets one more go ‘round, you feel me here, Dickie?”
“Wh-what?! How do you even expect me to get hard right now?!”
The bath is running in Tim’s massive tub (the real benefit to the apartment after all), and the sounds of Kevlar and Nomac sliding off of skin a soft sight when Dick comes to join them.
“You know, Timmy,” is a followed up by a very Dick Grayson smile, all full of bedroom eyes and promise, “we do have our ways.”
So if the tub sloshes over, and the neighbors complain about the noise this time of day (again), if maybe there might be...another suit buried in the back of their closet a few days later, if maybe he takes more detours when his boys are on the job and he can have time to scout hiding places and perfectly sized niches, when he can calculate more routes and moves.
He’s going to say, it’s always good to have a plan because of things like bleeding vigilantes—you know, on my fire escape. But in reality, it’s because now that he’s worn the tunic, flown through Gotham, and he’s pretty damn sure he’s got enough skill to make them work a hell of a lot harder–
Next time.

Keeping Track Of Your Cryptocurrency Portfolio; Best Apps of 2018
Whether you are a day trader, swing trader, or just a HODLer of cryptocurrency it can be a nightmare trying to keep track of all your investments. Let me repeat that... complete... damn... nightmare! I am mostly a long term holder of cryptocurrency, with a few swing trades thrown in there for good measure, so even with my very small amount of trades it can be hard to keep track of my profits and losses from my coins. That is why having a good cryptocurrency portfolio management app is crucial for knowing how well your investments are doing and what their real value is. I put together this list of the top cryptocurrency portfolio management and tracking sites of 2018 so you don't have to dig through all the options! I Still Suck At Managing My Portfolio There are a ton of great platforms out there to track your cryptocurrency portfolio and I have tried some of the top options below. Despite all of these being very solid, I STILL suck at keeping track of my investments and it is all MY fault. Yep, you read that right. Even with this great offering of software I still have trouble managing my portfolio and visualizing my profit/loss and it is all because I get lazy... I make trades or purchases of ICO's and then just forget or don't bother entering them into these amazing apps. This is my personal warning to myself really... "The 'Stache NEEDS TO STOP BEING SO LAZY!" Regardless of my own shortcomings I still think these are the cream of the crop for tracking your portfolio. Without further adieu (and in no particular order), the top crypto management tools! Altpocket.io
In my eyes, Altpocket.io is one of the cleanest and well designed portfolio tracking sites out there. I probably use this site the most out of all the trackers because I LOVE the design and layout (reminds me a lot of Exodus, another of my favorites!). Adding coins is super easy and you can even do importing from 2 popular exchanges, Bittrex & Poloniex. Unlike some other sites, you can kind of "post" to the community and there some social features like badges you can earn.
The site is free to sign up and right now they do not have a paid element, but they do state that eventually that will be the case. One of the more unique features I like is they allow you to add a "mining/free" entry which is very helpful in those special use cases that come up often. I would highly recommend Altpocket.io as my personal go-to online resource for portfolio management. CoinTracking.info
A favorite among traders, CoinTracking.info is by far the most advanced platform with a very robust set of features that you just don't find on most of the other sites and apps. You can import from tons of exchanges through .CSV as well as API and they even let you import from popular wallets like Exodus, Electrum, and Blockchain.info. The interface is very clean, but is also very busy because of all the great features they pack in. You can generate a ton of reports and they even have a Tax-Report tab that can help you visualize that based on your coins. As I start to trade more I find myself coming back to CoinTracking more and more for their unparalleled features. The site has a free plan, but also offers 2 paid levels that unlock even more features like automatic API and advanced Tax-Report. If you are looking for the complete package, CoinTracking.info is it. CryptoCompare.com
CryptoCompare.com is one of my favorites out of the many options out there. They have a great interface that is really easy to understand, add your coins, and then visualize. CryptoCompare has a lot of other features on it's site as well, so it is not strictly a portfolio manager. In comparison to other offerings the CC portfolio is VERY simple. It does not allow you to do imports from popular exchanges, which can be a major downside for traders. The features are somewhat limited as well, but I think that is a good thing for someone just starting out in crypto. The service is free to signup, but they will have a paid version that unlocks more features once it is out of Beta. Since I don't trade a lot, I like to keep it simple and CC lets me do just that. Blockfolio App
What portfolio management review article would be complete if they didn't include Blockfolio? This is the most popular mobile app out there for tracking your portfolio. The interface is straight forward and pretty easy to use. Not a ton of bells and whistles, but it makes it really easy to visualize your portfolio from you phone. The app is available for both Android and Apple. I don't use this app that much as I tend to be in front of my desktop most days, but I know many many people that crack out on their Blockfolio app checking it every few minutes. Don't get addicted! Honorable Mentions
Totle.com - This is a new platform that is in development right now that I am very keen on. It combines portfolio management with trading. Basically you setup your portfolio and can dynamically allocate where the funds you deposited should go without having to maintain multiple wallets or exchange accounts. The Totle platform will do it all for you in the background! This is still in development, but I think it has promise as a next-gen platform for complete portfolio management.
CoinTrackr.com - It doesn't get simpler then CoinTrackr.com! You don't even need to create an account, and it is as simple as it gets. Not much here, but still a very "easy-on-the-eyes" quick solution for visualizing your portfolio. I included it in this list because I just really love the clean design. TL;DR To sum it up. If you want to go simple check out Altcoin.io and CryptoCompare. If you need more advanced features, CoinTracking is the way to go. Only got your phone? Check out Blockfolio for one of the better mobile solutions. No matter what site you choose to manage your portfolio, don't be like The 'Stache on this one and give into pure laziness! I Need Dynamic 'Stache-folio Management!

he’ll never love you — do you like to leave marks on your lover? - Khai
Expectations Asks 💋
She always roused before him.
Whether one would blame it on routine, personal preference or bad sleeping habits would depend on how much time they had spent with the solitary Tumet. Regardless, Khai was up and coercing the smouldering coals back to life with new kindling before the sun had decided to start its day.
The low, vermilion light stretched out from the firepit, coating everything in a soft, wavering light. From her spot near the fire, her near black eyes could see the expanse of Oktai’s back, carved and littered with nail-carved lines of varying freshness. Those marks, straight and sure, turned curved towards his shoulders, marking a change in tools.
Teeth always felt better anyways. Powerful. More controlling. Engaged the senses more than simple grasping.
It would be a long while until there was enough light to make it worth waking him up. Until then…
Khai slipped around her yurt, gathering a small pot and a thin brush. White pigment was fetched from her stache of paints and she returned to settle in the furs next to the highlander. Porcelain colored paste was uncorked and her brush saturated with the brightness. Only then did Khai consider her canvas. Careful lines were drawn, the paint forming designs with the deep red lines as framework. From her night’s demands emerged feathers, ruby and rust spines with delicate white plumage.
Once his back had been covered, like a pillow had been torn open on his back, Khai rose from her spot and turned to find her gear. Her crimson fire had reached the outside, and soon the day would start. It was time to hunt.

via Politics – FiveThirtyEight
Welcome to FiveThirtyEight’s weekly politics chat. The transcript below has been lightly edited.
micah (Micah Cohen, politics editor): HEYO! When this chat publishes, we’ll be about 36 hours removed from the special election in Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District (apparently won by Democrat Conor Lamb). That’s been more than enough time for narratives and lessons and takeaways to take hold. I’ve chosen what seem to be the most ubiquitous or interesting ones, we’re going to play a game of buy/sell/hold with PA 18
takes.
Buy = “I mostly agree with that.”
Sell = “I mostly disagree with that.”
Hold = ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You all good to go?
clare.malone (Clare Malone, senior political writer): Yeah.
perry (Perry Bacon Jr., senior writer): Yes.
natesilver (Nate Silver, editor in chief): Sure.
micah: OK, Take No. 1, from Vox: The Pennsylvania special election shows the 2018 House battleground is enormous — by one calculation, more than 110 seats could theoretically be in play.
Buy, sell or hold?
natesilver: Buy.
perry: Hold. I could have said “buy,” though — the range of seats that Democrats could win is fairly broad.
clare.malone: I’m a hold on this because I think not every district that President Trump won by 20 points or more (as he did Pennsylvania’s 18th District) is quite the same, and I don’t think Democrats can find a plausible candidate for every one of them. But that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t or won’t make a play for them.
natesilver: I would point out that it feels like buy/sell/hold is the wrong idiom here, but Micah might get mad if I said that. I think the Vox take is right, though. It’s a very, very broad playing field, and both Democrats and Republicans would be dumb as hell to ignore any of those ~110 seats.
micah: Yeah, I’ve seen this take bleed a bit into more like, “Democrats can win something on the order of 110 seats,” and that seems way out there. But if we stick to “in play,” then I’m on board.
clare.malone: Right. It’s really easily misconstrued.
micah: Yeah.
OK, Take No. 2, from Huffington Post: GOP blames “lackluster” candidate and his “porn stache” for Pennsylvania setback
(And yes, I just wanted to get “porn stache” into the chat.)
To summarize this one a bit — maybe we can’t read that much into the Pennsylvania 18 result because the GOP candidate was bad.
clare.malone: First off, LOL.
But crass wording aside, there was something of a Kennedy/Nixon thing going on here with the contrast of young, dewy Lamb to older, mustachioed Rick Saccone. That’s not to say it was a big factor, though.
So, sell, but I see what they’re going for.
“They” being Republicans.
natesilver: SELLLOLOLOLOLOL
perry: Sell. Saccone was a fairly standard Republican on positions. He won a primary, has been a state senator, didn’t have a big scandal break during the general election. In other words, he was no Roy Moore. Or Christine O’Donnell.
clare.malone: Yeah the blame-it-on-Saccone spin is more a testament to how well Lamb played the role he needed to play in that district.
natesilver: It’s not totally wrong to say the candidates played a role, but that’s missing the forest for the trees. The national environment does most of the work here. Democrats are outperforming the districts’ partisan baselines by an average of 16 or 17 points in special elections for the U.S. House and Senate so far. They did so by 22 points in Pennsylvania’s 18th. So maybe the candidates’ individual qualities got Lamb over the top, but it was the national environment that created the opportunity.
Also, Lamb and Saccone are well within the normal range of goodness/badness as candidates. There will be plenty of candidates like them on the ballot in November 2018. They’re not the second coming of Jesus Christ and Roy Moore, respectively.
micah: So I guess it’s fair to say this result shows the importance of the national environment and candidate quality — but that order (environment first) is important.
Take No. 3, from The Guardian: Why it’s time for Democrats to ditch Nancy Pelosi.
Lamb seems to have won, and he distanced himself from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
clare.malone: Buy.
I generally think there’s a solid argument for Democrats to do a little bit of a leadership purge.
natesilver: Hold.
clare.malone: It’s a take I agree with separate from this election, though. It’s not just Tuesday’s result.
natesilver: I mean, I think if we’re being really Machiavellian, Democrats would probably up their chances of taking the House majority in 2018 if they ditched Pelosi. But it’s like the eighth-most-important factor.
perry: Sell. The polling in this district found that most people neither knew nor cared about the anti-Pelosi pledge. There is a fine argument that Democrats need new leaders, but I don’t think this race tells much.
natesilver: Republicans can just demonize Hillary Clinton instead.
micah: That is sooooo true.
Can and will.
clare.malone: And she’s happily providing new tape for them:
perry: I would say, though, that — regardless of whether this made a difference or not in the 18th District — if 20 Democrats running in key races make the kind of anti-Pelosi pledge that Lamb did, then that becomes an issue for her.
If Democrats win the House majority in 2018 and have, say, 230 seats, but 15 people have pledged not to vote for Pelosi for speaker, that’s significant. And if they don’t win the majority, I think she will be out.
micah: Speaking of …
Take No. 4, from the NTK Network: Bad night for Pelosi, good night for Moulton and Biden.
That’s Rep. Seth Moulton of Massachusetts and former Vice President Joe Biden, both of whom campaigned for Lamb and both of whom are rumored to be potential presidential candidates in 2020.
clare.malone: It’s a good way to shoehorn in other white, male candidates, who Democrats are hoping will swing suburban Republican-leaning voters.
natesilver: Hold. The arguments about whether Democrats need progressives who excite the base or moderates who woo swing voters are pretty overdone in both directions — and it depends a lot on the districts.
clare.malone: I’ll buy.
perry: Buy. I don’t think anyone cares about Moulton. Even if Pelosi didn’t matter to voters, it’s a bad sign for her that Lamb won in a high-profile race while distancing himself from his party’s leader in the House. Every high-profile surrogate (Barack Obama, Biden, Bill Clinton) campaigns for some people who win and some who lose. But I think Biden is being brought into more conservative-leaning areas. (He appeared with Montana Sen. Jon Tester recently.) If some of those candidates win, and he is the top surrogate, that does help Biden with the case that he can appeal to Obama-Trump voters.
clare.malone: I mean, right, Biden’s whole presidential pitch is gonna be just that: I’ll win back the fabled “working-class white voter.”
micah: Take No. 5, from Greg Sargent at The Washington Post: The Trump/GOP agenda may be a big albatross for Republicans.
perry: Sell. I don’t think the GOP policy agenda is mattering that much. The tax cut doesn’t seem to be helping the GOP in these special elections, but I think that’s different from saying it it’s hurting the party. Trump is a big albatross himself, but I’m not sure it’s the policy stuff.
Like, the tariffs didn’t help Saccone is my guess. I’m not sure they hurt him, though.
natesilver: I’m a buy.
I think health care hurts Republicans, and taxes are probably a wash.
clare.malone: Hmmm. I guess buy? The economy is good, so the Democrats would be left with running on health care and Trump’s ineffectuality.
natesilver: And tariffs were probably a wash in this district but are hurtful overall.
micah: So I’m gonna fold another take into this one — a sub-take, from ThinkProgress: Pennsylvania voters say the GOP’s health care antics cost Saccone their vote.
It sounds like Nate is buying that.
I might be a weak sell on this — I think it’s Trump more than his agenda, per se.
natesilver: That’s not what the question asked, though.
It didn’t ask whether Trump was more important — it asked whether the Republican agenda is harming the GOP.
perry: Do I think congressional Republicans would have been better off overall with either a popular Obamacare replacement plan or just not doing the repeal? Yes. I think Nate is correct about this.
micah: Well, I guess I’m quibbling with the “big” in “big albatross.”
perry: The gap between “Trump alone” and “Trump and the GOP’s agenda” is perhaps not the biggest distinction. I’m not sure it totally makes sense.
If Trump was tweeting about a health care plan people liked, that would be different than what he is tweeting about now.
micah: That’s a good point.
Trump sorta is the Trump/GOP agenda, and vice versa.
clare.malone: What happens if the economy tanks in the next eight months?
Does that mean a sure Democratic wave?
micah: The GOP ceases to exist.
natesilver: It’s worth pointing out that Trump’s approval rating declined by several points while health care was being debated.
clare.malone: Right. The GOP is basically basing their campaign on the good economy and the promises of the tax bill.
natesilver: I’m not sure that the rest of the stuff matters, but I think health care moves the needle a bit.
micah: Seriously, though, the GOP is in really bad shape with a pretty-good-to-great economy. If that went south, they’d be toast.
Though maybe there are diminishing returns for Democrats. Republicans can do only so bad.
natesilver: #Actually, Micah, there might be accelerating returns for Democrats because of the way that districts are structured.
There’s a huge glut of (mostly gerrymandered) districts that are somewhere between like 10 and 20 points more Republican-leaning than the country as a whole. So if the wave gets really big and Democrats begin to tap into those, their gains just get larger and larger.
micah: OK, last one, Take No. 6, from CNN: “Donald Trump can’t save you.”
Buy, sell or hold?
perry: Buy. Trump is not going to help a lot of Republicans win key races in close states/districts. I suspect he will be like Obama in 2014: Candidates in close races may want to duck association with him. Although maybe in Missouri, Indiana, West Virginia — the big Senate races in fairly red states — he might help.
clare.malone: I’ll second that buy.
natesilver: Buy — except the premise is backward. Who’s saying that Trump can save Republicans? He’s the main reason they’re in so much trouble this year in the first place.
micah: I mean, I buy this too as it’s meant. But he could save Republicans somewhat, right? If he stopped doing a lot of Trump-y things.
natesilver: Yeah by staying off Twitter and going golfing for the rest of the year.
clare.malone: “Fox & Friends” is saying that Trump saves Republicans, to be clear.
They were saying this morning that Trump’s trip to Pennsylvania actually saved Saccone from a more embarrassing loss.
natesilver: THIS TALKING POINT IS SO DUMB.
micah: Wait a sec!
natesilver: IT’S SO FUCKING DUMB.
AND IT SHOWS THAT PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS ABOUT INTERPRETING POLLS.
micah: You have caps lock on, I think.
natesilver: I’ve seen multiple people making claims that “Lamb was up 6 points in the polls until Trump came in.” This is backwards in like two ways.
First, Lamb was leading by 6 points in only one poll, from Monmouth. Not “the polls”.
He was up by 2 points in the polling average, and the final result is going to come very, very close to that.
If you think the polls were off in this race, you’re a fucking idiot, full stop.
The same would have been true if Saccone had won by 1 point or something also.
micah: Is rant over?
natesilver: Second, the Monmouth poll was actually conducted AFTER TRUMP VISITED, or at least partially after it.
The polls BEFORE Trump visited showed a TIE, on average.
Then the Monmouth poll came out AFTERWARD.
micah: Is rant over?
natesilver: If anything, the Monmouth poll suggested that Trump made matters worse for Saccone, although it did overshoot the mark a bit.
I’m sorry to rant about this, I’m just really, really tired of people substituting saying “the polls” when they really mean “idiotic media narratives based on cherry-picked misinterpretations of the polls.”
Even on CNN last night, there was this notion that Lamb was a big favorite based on the polls. That’s absolutely false. He was a modest favorite, at best. It shows that people have learned nothing since 2016.
micah: Is rant over?
natesilver: It’s going to continue for the next three years, Micah.
micah: lol
Wait, though, on the podcast, Nate, you said something along the lines of, “We know Democratic turnout is going to be good in 2018. Republicans should be looking for ways to increase turnout among their base.”
Can’t Trump help do that?
natesilver: Maybe. I mean, it would certainly be valuable for Republicans to have high turnout among their base — they’re going to need it because the Democratic base’s turnout is almost surely going to be high.
But is Trump actually helping with that?
The base is not that enthused, at least not in a way that’s translating to them turning out in the elections. Trump riles up the Democratic base and turns off moderates.
micah: OK, closing thoughts go to Clare and Perry.
clare.malone: I guess just to the point above, I don’t think you could really win the midterm with just Trump’s base, no matter how energized it is, right?
You would still need to build a GOP coalition to counterbalance the Democratic enthusiasm.
micah: That’s a really good point. It’s likely true that as long as Democrats are motivated, Trump’s base is not enough.

20th Century Women
Wondering if you’re happy it’s a great shortcut to just being depressed.
I hadn’t decided whether I wanted to see this movie at all. It looked good, but not necessarily my cup of tea. But then it was announced that proceeds from this movie that weekend would be donated to Planned Parenthood. And I’m always up down to support a cause. I go to a Catholic University and I’m always getting emails to come pray outside the ‘abortion mill’ and about the evils of Planned Parenthood. This place is fucking weird and I want to counter that any way I can.
Regardless, 20th Century Women is pretty good. Dorathea is having hard time raising her teenage son Jamie, in 1979. So she enlists she help of two other women to help guide him. It’s a movie about multi-generational women and their stories. That alone is interesting, since how often do we get that? These women are complex and developed and real. They’re strong and flawed and human. Each has their own story with a past and a future, and we see them with no walls up.
It helps that all 3 woman give phenomenal performances. It should be a felony that Annette Benning has never won an Academy Award. The script has a few problems with her character, but she smooths that over by giving a typically mesmerizing and layered performance. She starts as a ‘cool mom’ that her son can relate to, but then she’s suddenly not relating to him and being strict and her ‘fight the power’ attitude disappears.
Greta Gerwig gives the best performance. She’s lost and looking for a way out of a life she thought she had already left behind. Her story is relatable to anyone who wants to break free and live their own life. The youngest of the women is Elle Fanning. While her character gets on your nerves, that’s sort of the point. She doesn’t know what she wants or how to do it. Fanning sells the hell out of it. Billy Crudup is here too with a sweet ‘70s porn ‘stache.
The son Jamie, is fine, a bit whiny, but he’s 16 so that’s not unexpected.
What really works is the coming of age theme. Because normally coming of age is reserved for someone transitioning from teen years to adulthood. But 20th Century Women takes it further. It can mean coming into any age. Coming into your own and breaking free from whatever was holding you back. Accepting the future and living with it. It had it’s eye on nostalgia but doesn’t dwell on it too hard. It’s told well and the story flows easily, so even a few script flaws can be glossed over. It’s a powerful film about powerful people that looks destined to get overlooked. Shame. 8/10

Some Basic Guidelines On Picking Major Aspects In Vsp North America
One of the best ways to help with the environment is to install solar panels. Investing in solar panels is an important step. You need to make sure that solar energy is cost effective for you. In this article, we will cover the basics of financial considerations when going solar.
It is important to preform regular maintenance to the solar energy system to help prolong the life of it. The panel surfaces must be cleaned, and all equipment should be inspected monthly. You can hire a professional that can do these things for you, but doing it yourself will save money.
Using a solar water heater is an excellent way to help the environment. There are many different types of cost effective water heating systems, like tankless solar powered heaters and solar water tanks. You can have them installed on your roof or in a location with full sun.
The notion that you must tear the roof off your house or engage in other inconvenient and costly processes to install a solar energy system is false. You can make small switches like putting in solar powered outside lights. These will charge during the day and then shine all night.
In the event you only wish to use solar energy in part, you should examine some of the smaller scale applications available. There are two ways to go about it. The first is to get solar panels that you can attach onto windows – these can be used to recharge portable electronic gadgets. Camping equipment that is solar powered is also very helpful. Either way, you will be saving money on your electric bill.
If you are going to rent a solar energy system rather than purchasing it, be sure the contract you sign allows you to transfer the lease. This is important because if put your home on the market, you may get stuck with paying for a leased solar energy system that you are not able to use. Transferring the lease give new homeowners a chance to use the solar energy while allowing you to break the contract.
You should have a backup plan should your solar panels stop functioning. You can either get a generator or stay connected to the power grid. If you purchase a generator, be sure you regularly test it, and you may wish to have more than one unit.
Maintaining your solar power system, such as checking the inverter regularly, is an essential part of getting the most from it. You always want to make sure that the green light is on and steady. An indicator light that is off or is blinking is cause for an expert. Solar energy systems can be very complex, and too difficult to work on for the average homeowner. A visit from a technician should be free if you bought panels with a 25-year warranty, which is common.
Now that you’ve read the article above, you should be able to determine whether solar energy makes economic sense for you. Solar power is a great option if you have access to the necessary resources, which means solar energy might not be your best option if your property is not well-exposed to the sun. Follow these tips to decide whether or not solar energy is your best energy option.

A New Breakdown Of Sensible Sault Ste Marie Solutions
The city’s plan will use GIS services for its data needs. If its application is successful, it will improve broadband and wifi infrastructure across the city to help engage youth, from early years to young adults. The plan will see programs and services developed to engage youth of all ages through technology and building technological skills. That technology can be applied to all interest groups, whether it applies to the arts, commerce or science, Vair said. “Another part of the plan is to develop hubs that have state of the art technology for youth so that we can develop programming for them and they’ll have a safe place to use it,” he said. A third component will result in the creation of an app geared directly to youth to get them engaged in all aspects of the city, from transit services, to planned events, and health messages, among other things. The vision includes engaging youth with technology and programs at the hub, Vair said. Collaboration with Algoma University, Sault College and the area school boards is imperative, he said. The federal government’s Smart Cities challenge aims to empower communities across the country to address local issues their residents face through new partnerships using a smart cities approach by incorporating data and connected technology. Last year it was announced by the federal government that they were launching a $300-million funding program to help communities become smart cities. Communities must develop a ‘challenge statement’ that includes a measurable and attainable goal and describe how it would use the money to attain that goal by becoming a smart city with technology and data. Participants are asked to engage with its citizens to generate ideas and gain valuable input into the application. The City of Sault Ste. Marie held several public input sessions designed to hear ideas and concepts from members of the community.

Clear-cut Solar Power Sault Ste Marie Products Examined
Perhaps you are unaware of the benefits of solar energy. Most people do not have realistic expectations about solar energy. You should learn more before you go with solar energy. Keep reading to learn all of the information you can about solar energy.
Even a small change, such as a solar-powered hot water heater, can help you save money and live greener. Varied types of solar heaters are available. You can opt for a model with a tank or go with a tankless model. You will only have to install a couple of panels on your roof or front lawn.
Even if your area is cloudy and cold, you can still use solar energy. Solar energy does not require direct sunlight or a particular temperature. Great solar power output can come on poor weather days.
You can make a solar system installation more affordable by looking into grants and rebates. Your solar energy system can cost quite a bit to get started with, but there is help available usually. Many government departments will offer you money once your set-up is installed. They can often make a huge difference. You can even get some deductions at tax time.
If you are concerned about your carbon footprint, you may want your home powered by solar energy. Since it gets its power from the sun, there is not much you can do to be greener than use solar energy. Therefore, reduce your carbon footprint by making use of solar energy.
When you buy a home, you should get a fully functional solar energy system. If you still have house payments, you may be taking on too much by purchasing a solar energy system.
Verify all local and state regulations prior to installing a solar power system. You might need to obtain some permits before installing some solar panels on your property. You don’t want to have to remove your system later after you find out.
When considering solar panels, track the weather. You need at least five hours of sunlight every day to get the most use out of them. You should think about other green energy options if your area is cloudy a lot or very snowy in winter.
Regardless of the solar energy system you choose, be sure your panels face the sun. It’s where the energy comes from, so properly orient your panels at all times.
Anyone living in the southwestern United States should absolutely think about solar. This region enjoys the greatest sun exposure throughout the year, and therefore makes solar energy a cost-effective proposition. Now is the time to seriously consider switching to solar power.
Shade areas around your home and property must be a consideration when deciding if you should convert to solar power. If you consider your home to have a ton of shade, you might not want to install solar panels. Deep shade may interfere with the performance of your solar energy panels.
Most people aren’t sure how solar energy works exactly. You should have a better idea of how you can benefit from solar power after reading this article. You probably know some of the benefits that solar energy can provide. When you decide to move forward, remember everything you’ve read here.

Hounds of Love (2017) [REVIEW] [SXSW ’17]
Love can make you do crazy things. For some, it means going on long road trips just for the chance to glimpse the love of your life for a few hours, while others might permanently adorn their bodies with artwork to commemorate a relationship for the rest of time. Regardless of how you express it, love makes you act like a wild idiot, and sometimes that’s manifested by kidnapping and torturing teenagers as a weird ritual in your love life. Wait, you don’t? That’s just a thing seen in Hounds of Love? Weird!
What’s that wall have to say?
Vicki (Ashleigh Cummings) wanting nothing more than to get to a party with friends and let loose after a tough week at school. John (Stephen Curry) and Evelyn White (Emma Booth) offer to give her a lift and a good deal on some drugs, but by the time the couple’s bizarre behavior in their home rubs her the wrong way, she’s already been roofied. When she wakes up, she’s bound to a bed and is witness to the terrify dichotomy between the couple, incorporating torture into their love life. Luckily, Vicki is quick on her feet and has found the key to escaping, but the question is whether or not she can act quickly enough to find salvation or if the passion between the deranged couple will result in her demise.
How could you not love a ‘stache like that? Or that tank top?!
What is it with Australian films and their abilities to navigating a unique blend of drama, horror, and humor into a film that feels wholly different from most other countries. From films like the Wolf Creek series to Snowtown, the terrifying stories refuse to be categorized as merely “horror,” and Hounds of Love continues that trend. With many horror films, there’s a desire from the audience to see some carnage on display, but that’s the last thing you want to happen to Vicki. Far from the compelling and charismatic serial killers in Natural Born Killers, John and Evelyn have a relationship filled with internal abuse, in addition to the abuse they subject their captor to.
Why so serious?
Another thing that ties Hounds of Love together with Snowtown and Wolf Creek is that they’re all rooted in reality. Writer/director Ben Young cites a book he read about female serial killers as the film’s inspiration, in addition to eerie similarities between the film’s narrative and the true-life serial killers The Birnies, an Australian couple who kidnapped and killed four girls in the mid-’80s. Rather than glorify the violence a sociopathic couple can express, he attempts to humanize the characters, showing that they have fucked up lives just like anyone. This isn’t expressed in a sympathetic way, but merely shows how fucked up anyone’s life or relationships can be through his gripping storytelling abilities. Hounds of Love is far from being an enjoyable watch, but the intense performances and a few truly hypnotic music cues help push the film into a unique portrayal of the highs and lows of humanity.

☠ - angry/violent headcanon please :3
Ohhhh boy, this is one I really like and I'm finally gonna reveal more of the details of it now. Well, you asked for it!
It’s no secret that Eggman's anger gets the best of him very often. Because he has such a short temper and he's constantly stressed out, he's never really too far away from exploding with fury. He's grumpy and can be irritated by others quite easily in general, but he pushes down the most intense feelings for as long as he can. He doesn't want people to think it can get the best of him, so he tries to deal with it privately and hide it from those that would enjoy getting a rise out of him.
He swears he's got his temper under control but he clearly doesn't. Deep down he knows it’s a serious problem and that it’s obvious to everyone. In many cases, he can feel the heat when he's about to erupt but sometimes he surprises himself with his uncontrolled reactions to things. He can at least attempt to hide the amount he's upset to an extent if he’s aware of it and really tries, for the sake of not letting others know how much something might be getting to him. Sometimes he's in denial to himself too.
Everyone notices anyway though, as he gets frustrated the moment someone says or does something he doesn't like. No matter how hard he tries, it inevitably builds up to an overwhelming amount and he needs to release it. After bottling it up, it comes out in the worst ways. There are signs it’s coming, like when he gets increasingly impatient and snappy over the smallest things. But he's always like that to an extent as he orders people around and uses anger to intimidate and make them obey him. So those signs are overlooked and upcoming breakdowns can still be unexpected nonetheless.
Regardless of whether people are expecting it or not, they’re terrified when it happens because of how loud and aggressive he is. Those that underestimate him being the serious threat soon regret it when they see what he’s capable of. They'll finally take his threats seriously when he's growling, shaking, raising his voice, towering over them, and making himself look the biggest, most intimidating he can be so he can have power and dominance over them. He’s boldly confrontational when someone pushes all of his buttons and he’ll make them sorry for messing with him.
We see his tendency to thump things whenever he's pissed off. It happens a lot when he has tantrums, as well as him stomping, complaining, and pouting. While people act like the sight is silly and immature from afar, the truth is they're intimidated and don't want to approach him. They know things can get a lot worse if they bother him further and they don't want to get hit by those strong fists. It would seriously hurt even if he wasn’t trying, simply due to how strong he is and he doesn’t realize how much force he uses.
His tantrums can be bad, but full sudden eruptions of chaotic rage and breakdowns are where he's the most impulsively destructive. Especially if it’s because previously bottled up feelings are finally coming to the surface and he can't hold back anymore. In these cases, he can be as destructive as the way he was when he destroyed the ice wall in Lost World, where he'll throw punches and won't stop until things get broken.
For example, after his worst defeats, a fiery rage burns so hotly inside him that he can't contain it. It can result in him destroying things in a blind rage- smashing glass, tearing things down, breaking robots and other creations apart, battering dents into machinery/computers, throwing things, and more. All while he's yelling at the top of his lungs about how he can't take it when he's denied the world that belongs to him, how it isn't fair that he never gets his way, and how much he hates Sonic- until his throat gets hoarse.
Even if he gets shocks from electricals and cuts and bruises from smashing screens, glass, mirrors, etc- it won't make him stop when he's too heated to think clearly. He feels the impact after when it ends with him having bloody knuckles, sore hands, and aching arms if he was lifting heavy things just to throw. He has various remaining scars on his hands that are a reminder of how he can find it hard to control himself but he doesn't learn from it.
He wastes a lot of expensive resources and tech but he has plenty of money to replace what's broken at least. He doesn't fully treat his injuries so they don't heal well. He has the attitude he had in LW, that his hands are fine. No, they aren't, please have someone else look at them if you won't do it yourself! He fails to see the seriousness because his pain tolerance is high and he doesn't feel it as much as others with the same injuries would. But that doesn't mean he shouldn't bother!
Objects aren't the only things he takes it out on and we've seen it happen in multiple media and canons. He hits robots when mad and when he’s truly had it with them, he destroys them. After chasing down SA-55 at the end of Unleashed, he tore him apart by hand and remade him into Orbot. He directs it towards other people too, snapping at them, becoming aggressive, lashing out without warning. Sometimes it can be misdirected, or they did something that struck his last nerve and brought it all out.
He'll prefer to fight by other means, with mechs/robots/forces first. If he's angered enough he'll turn a fight physical, no matter how small, big, weak, or strong his opponents are. He doesn't make the conscious decision anyway, he just goes for it. The most common ways of attack are to throw punches, grab and slam people against walls/to the ground and strangling/choking them. You think he wouldn’t strangle those Zeti if he had the chance? He's big and strong and so are his hands, so he makes use of them. He's alarmingly quick with it too.
Everyone has to leave him alone and just let him release it. If he's causing damage to objects or himself, they can’t stop him. There's no way to talk him out of it or calm him down in the heat of the moment. If his robots or anyone else interferes, it can lead to him directing it towards them. Everyone knows he's dangerous when angry and they can never be certain that he won’t snap at them. He likely will the moment he's provoked, which is easy to do so when he's already overwhelmed with anger, even if it’s unintentional.
When it's over, he ends up exhausted with a sore throat and bad injuries. It can affect his health overall too, as it isn't healthy for those negative feelings to consume him so intensely. His stache gets ruffled up and sometimes slightly ripped out after pulling at it in frustration too. He won't want to talk to anyone and immediately wants to get some sleep instead. When he wakes up, everyone around him better behave and bring him anything that could cheer him up. That can be a long process though, so they have to try their very best to please him.

Some Useful Tips On Picking Out Indispensable Aspects For Vsp North America
These days, you don’t need a few acres of sun-light land to go solar, technology has advanced far beyond that! Nearly every home or business can now take advantage switching to solar energy. The following article will tell you more about the many benefits of solar energy.
You should know there are two main type of photo-voltaic panels. Poly-crystalline panels tend to be cheaper but they are not as efficient than mono-crystalline solar panels. It is often best to invest in the most efficient product you can afford if you need a solar energy system that can power your home.
Starting small is key to beginning with solar power. Pick up some inexpensive outdoor lights to get your feet wet. You can find these at many retail establishments. Installation is as simple as placing them in the ground along your walkway.
To ensure that you’re getting the most out of your panels, check out the systems that do not rely fully on the sun’s schedule. Many newer solar panels are able to store the sun’s energy when it is up, but let you use it anytime of day. This is helpful if you use power in your home at nighttime.
Know that you can live in a cold and cloudy area and still benefit from solar energy! It doesn’t need to be like Florida all year round for it to be a big part of your energy savings goals. As a matter of fact, lots of people claim that they have incredible solar power on cloudier days.
After you recoup your initial investment, you can save a lot of money using solar energy. Solar panels can be costly, and you may need to wait many years before you see your panels paying off on your energy bills. If you don’t plan to stick around, don’t buy solar panels.
With each year, solar power systems keep getting stronger and stronger. Many consumers find that they can afford systems that used to be reserved only for giant corporations. Whether you’re thinking for business or home, chances are there is an affordable option for you now.
Install your solar panels so they receive the most sun throughout the year. If you do not understand how to accomplish this, spend some time tracking the sun’s path.
You can save on heating costs by having solar photovoltaic panels installed or using solar water heating. Solar panels are ideal for locations that receive between 5 and 6 full hours of direct sunlight daily. If you have a heated pool, solar water heating can cut down on how much you spend.
While pollution would be reduced using solar powered vehicles, this concept has not quite been ironed out by manufacturers. Having said that, small power machines that run on solar energy are available. Solar generators exist that can be a godsend during a lengthy power outage.
Solar energy can be of great benefit to many homes and businesses, and to the planet. Can solar energy fulfill your energy needs? It’s time to find out! Use these tips to get you started on the solar power path.
Students work to help others boost SAT scores A pair of Sault Area High School seniors want to make sure their successors have an easier time with the SAT than they did. Nick Natzke and Samantha Brand recently appeared before the Sault Schools Board of Education, detailing their work to establish better SAT preparation for SAHS students. The two took their SATs — which are standardized tests often used for college placement or other post-secondary activities — a year ago and determined there was an issue. Later, they decided to tackle that issue through their participation in the Youth Advisory Council and Students United. “Our goal is to boost up the scores of all the students in their junior year, regardless of how their doing in school right now,” Natzke said. “So they can be low-scoring students or high-scoring students right now. We just want to make sure they’re set for their future, such as the military, vocational training of university.” Last fall the two began meeting with Amy Scott-Kronemeyer, the district’s director of student achievement, every Wednesday. Brand said they worked with her to develop a curriculum and find staff members to run after-school and weekend SAT prep meetings. The pair also helped find tutors and install a practice test, which will be offered on a weekend prior to the actual SAT. “We’re trying to target people who are college-bound as well as military or vocational school-bound,” Brand added. “So it’s really a program that encompasses all the students that we have at the Sault Schools.” Scott-Kronemeyer referred to Natzke and Brand as “stellar” students and noted that they also met with SAHS principal Carl McCready in their efforts to establish the SAT assistance measures. The two are now making presentations to underclassmen, hoping to convince them of the importance of the SAT. “They’ve really did an outstanding job,” Scott-Kronemeyer said.

The Challenges For Rudimentary Sault Ste Marie Plans
Whether the proposed tariff will be levied against Canadian steel has not been announced yet, and there is an opportunity to make the fact based case that trade between our two countries is balanced. “The facts and statistics establish that Canada and the US have a balanced, fair and complementary trade relationship in steel. For instance, in 2017 each country exported $6 billion (USD) worth of steel to the other country,” said Mayor Provenzano. “Levying a tariff against Canadian steel entering the US will disrupt this relationship and negatively effect both countries. Terry, Ross and I are united in our commitment to bring this message to our counterparts in the US.” “I am deeply concerned about the potential jeopardy that the imposition of these proposed tariffs will have on Canadian steel exports, in particular the effects on our local economy. I will continue to advocate for a Canadian exemption in an effort to continue our historically positive relationship with our friends in the United States. If each of our local elected officials contacts leaders south of the border that rely on our economies to keep their own economies afloat – we can show the US that they need us as much as we need them. That is our best chance at resolving this issue,” said Ross Romano, Sault Ste. Marie MPP. “I have been in Washington D.C. recently to meet with congressional representatives and senators to discuss the importance of the steel industry including Algoma and Tenaris Algoma Tubes. We have had a trade balance in steel, with the United States. Both countries have benefited from ongoing cooperation as raw materials move from the United States, to Canada to be made into steel, and back to the United States as a component in various kinds of manufacturing. Thousands of jobs and much of our prosperity depend on this cooperation. We have the longest undefended border in the world and we have partnerships with the United States that go back more than a century. I will continue to reach out to contact allies among my federal counterparts in the United States so that we can work together, effectively, against cheap, foreign dumped steel,” said Terry Sheehan, Sault Ste.

A Detailed Analysis Of Recognising Major Elements In Solar Power Sault Ste Marie
You will see a decrease in your bills by using solar energy. The environmental benefits are considerable as well. Read on to learn the many ways in which solar energy can improve your life.
The power produced by solar panels depends on how many you install and their efficiency. You should figure out exactly how many panels you need. It could work out that you’ll want the high efficiency panels to decrease the number of panels you’ll need.
There are a couple of different photo-voltaic panels to choose from. Though cheaper, poly-crystalline panels are not quite as effective as mono-crystalline panels. Try to get the most efficient possible product for your home.
When beginning to use solar energy, start small. There are outdoor lights that are completely run on solar energy. It’s easy to find this sort of product online, at home improvement stores and at big box stores. Situate these lights out of the shade in your yard for maximum efficiency.
Density of the panels plays a large part in the efficiency of them. Higher density panels will run you more because they produce more energy. Look at the density of various panels before deciding on one.
Heating your water using a solar energy water heater is one way to help protect the environment. Choose a water heating system that fits your needs and your budget. A sunny area on your roof is the optimal spot for installation.
If you cannot afford or simply do not want to completely go solar right now, you can partially go solar. If this applies to you, then determine small ways you can do this. There are two ways that you can accomplish this. First, locate solar panels that can be mounted on windows so that you can get electronic devices recharged. Another option is to look for solar-powered camping gear like lanterns and stoves. Either way, you will be saving money on your electric bill.
You should also consider a backup power system in the even your solar panels malfunction. You can use a generator or stay on the power grid and use this when your solar panels are down. If you choose to get a generator, keep a few on hand and test them on a routine basis.
Solar energy systems are great for saving money if you have no problem making an investment up front. This can help you go green and reduce your energy bill. If you are planning on moving, then you might want to hold out on purchasing the solar energy system until you are in a more permanent home.
Think about whether or not solar makes sense for your house. There are several factors to consider. A major reason to go with solar power is if your home is remote and the traditional power grid does not reach it. It’s also a wonderful choice if you understand that paying more upfront can cut your costs and the environment in the long run.
Switching to solar energy will help you save money in the long term and will also help you reduce your impact on the environment. The benefits are myriad, you just need to take advantage of them. Now is the perfect time to undertake such a project.

A Guide To Logical Vsp North America Programs
Nowadays, solar energy is quickly becoming a popular form of energy that both consumers and businesses use. If you’re not this source of energy, ask yourself why. If you are not sure what investing in a clean energy system means, you need to do more research on this topic. Read this article to learn advice on how to properly use solar energy for your home or business.
Take good care of your solar energy panels, and you will enjoy many years of trouble-free service. You ought to inspect the system every month, as well as wash the panel surfaces gently. If you need help cleaning and inspecting, a professional can be used.
Some governments will give a tax credit for using solar energy. They could offer as much as 30% of the system’s cost. Search online to find more information or get in touch with your local government representative to see if these rebate programs are offered in your region.
You can save money on your heating bill by installing solar photovoltaic panels on your home or utilizing solar water heating. Photovoltaic panels function best in areas where there’s a minimum of five uninterrupted sunlight hours. You can benefit immensely by using a solar water heater to help heat your swimming pool.
It’s not something readily thought about, but if you are using solar power, you don’t need to be hooked into your community’s power grid. You can choose to be independent if you are ready to invest in a battery and a backup generator. You will no longer have a monthly utility bill or have the task of establishing service each time you move.
Solar panels can be quite pricey, so it is a good idea to buy just a few of them. Have an expert do an audit of what your energy usage is. This will show you areas where of wasted energy, allowing you to make the necessary changes. This can help you reduce the number of panels in your plan.
If you are interested in a certain type of solar panels, you should find out when this technology was designed. Newer solar panels are much more efficient, however you will still see vendors selling old technology. Older models may get the job done with a lower initial investment, but the latest and greatest promises improved results nonetheless.
As far as solar panels go, bigger is not always better. The quality of each panel is affected by many factors, like wattage and warranty. Consider all of those before buying a panel.
Regardless of the solar energy system you choose, be sure your panels face the sun. Remember that the energy comes from the sun, so naturally you will want to put your panels in an area that gets ample sun exposure.
Before choosing solar panels, consider the shade around your home. Solar panels may not work very well if your house receives full shade. Shade limits the sun’s performance on solar panels. This reduces the effectiveness and cost efficiency of solar heat.
You are surely convinced of the benefits of solar energy. You now know how you can use solar energy to benefit you. Use this information to see everything you can do with solar energy.
“I’ll take all the heat you want,” Trump told nearly two dozen lawmakers Tuesday at the White House for a meeting that began with a startling 55 minutes in which reporters and TV cameras watched. “But you are not that far away from comprehensive immigration reform.” Trump said an immigration deal could be reached in two phases — first by addressing young immigrants and border security with what he called a “bill of love,” then by making comprehensive changes that have long eluded Congress. That second bill would likely face long odds for passage, considering long-running disagreements over issues like how to handle all 11 million immigrants illegally in the U.S. Republicans will need Democratic votes to prevent a federal shutdown in 10 days, votes Democrats have threatened to withhold without an immigration agreement. House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., told reporters talks would begin as early as Wednesday, adding, “And we’ll solve this problem and find common ground.” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Wednesday that the federal judge’s ruling was “outrageous, especially in light of the President’s successful bipartisan meeting with House and Senate members at the White House on the same day.” She said the issue should “go through the normal legislative process” and pledged Trump “will work with members of both parties to reach a permanent solution.” After Trump and lawmakers spent time meeting privately, the White House and numerous lawmakers said there was agreement to limit the immediate bill to four areas. These were border security, family-based “chain migration,” a visa lottery that draws people from diverse countries and how to revive the DACA program. That Obama-era program has given hundreds of thousands — the so-called Dreamers — a shield from deportation and the right to work legally. Trump ended it last year but gave Congress until March 5 to find a fix, and Tuesday he signaled flexibility. Trump even flashed some give on his cherished plan to build a wall along the border with Mexico, perhaps his highest profiled pledge from last year’s presidential campaign. That proposal has been strongly opposed by Democrats and many Republicans as a futile waste of money. Trump said it needn’t be a “2,000-mile wall. We don’t need a wall where you have rivers and mountains and everything else protecting it. But we do need a wall for a fairly good portion.” He’d made similar statements last year, but this time it was in the context of negotiations for actual legislation. Both parties were already showing signs of divisions over how much to give in upcoming talks.

Basic Insights On Speedy Strategies In Sault Ste Marie
Like the rest of Canada, this region is shouldering increased flu cases — not necessarily a surprise, says Algoma Public Health. “We’re still at expected levels for this time of year,” public health nurse Liisa Daoust told The Sault Star. “It’s still sort of what we expect to see in January.” Things could get worse, officials suggest. Infectious diseases experts say the peak of infections with one of the dominant circulating strains could come within a few weeks — or even sooner. The dominant influenza A strain is H3N2, a nasty virus that tends to infect the elderly in greater numbers, with concurrent circulation of a B strain, a type that typically causes less severe illness. Influenza B can also affect seniors and is the strain that most often infects children. “We expected that could be an issue leading into 2018,” said Daoust, adding that in Algoma, officials are seeing influenza Type A. “Sub-types are coming back, so far, at H3, which is what we’re seeing in the whole of Canada, as well,” Daoust said. Normally in a season, there will be a peak of influenza A toward the end of December or through January. As that eases toward the end of February, influenza B activity peaks into the spring and later season. But this year’s B strain, known as B/Yamagata, began circulating in the fall, much earlier than is usually the case. In its weekly FluWatch report, the Public Health Agency of Canada says there were 11,277 laboratory-confirmed cases of flu across the country as of Dec. 30 — about 70 per cent attributed to H3N2 — with more than 1,000 influenza-related hospitalizations and 34 deaths. But officials say these figures are an underestimate of the actual number of cases, as most people don’t seek medical attention for flu and, therefore, aren’t tested.

Crucial Aspects In Solar Power Sault Ste Marie Trends
Solar energy has the potential to provide energy to people anywhere on the globe. People who make smart use of solar energy save lots of money on the power they use every day. This piece is intended to guide you through the topic of solar energy and illustrate its numerous benefits.
The efficiency of your solar panels depends on their density. High density panels cost more; however, they also produce a great deal more power. For this reason, the added expense is justified. If you are hesitating between different panels, compare their density to get an idea of how efficient they will be.
When you maintain it, your solar power set-up will last. You should inspect your equipment at least once a month, and wash the surface of the panels carefully. Don’t think twice about hiring a professional to inspect and clean your solar energy system for you, however this can also be done on your own.
You should find a dependable way in which to store the energy that’s produced by the solar system. Purchase a good battery able to store significant amounts of energy for long periods, or think about reselling excess energy to the grid.
If you’re leasing your solar energy system rather than buying it, ensure the contract you sign gives you the option of transferring the lease. This becomes important during the sale of your home. You might end up paying for a unit that you get no use from. When you are able to transfer the lease, you can pass it on to the new homeowner.
You can cut down on costs by using grants and rebates. The costs to get a solar energy system up and running can be daunting, however you can often find help. Verify whether state or federal rebates and grants are available to assist you. This can make solar energy a lot more affordable. You could deduct some expenses via your taxes.
Sun tracking panels are the most efficient available. They literally turn as the sun moves across the sky. These systems are more expensive but you will be able to produce more power and get more from your investment.
Solar panels will reduce your heating bill, as will solar water heat producers. Photovoltaic panels are going to work best in areas that get about 5 hours of sunlight uninterrupted each day. Solar water heating can significantly reduce your heating costs, especially if you have a swimming pool that you heat up.
Lots of folks fail to realize the fact that with a solar energy system, connecting to the grid is optional. The solar power system provides your home with all the electricity it needs; therefore, you do not have to worry about losing power whenever your city does. This means there are zero power bills that you need to deal with!
Going green entails a number of different changes, but switching to solar energy is one of the most effective ways to begin. Every ten years, your electricity bill will double, which means more money comes out of your paycheck. Utilize the tips provided here in order to utilize solar energy for the good of the environment and your wallet.

There Will Only Ever Be 21 Million Bitcoins; What Is A Coin
People ask me almost every day, "What gives Bitcoin value?" While I have written articles exclusively about what gives BTC value, one major aspect that I wanted to expand on is the fact that there will only ever be 21 million Bitcoin in existence. This what we call a "hard cap" or maximum supply and it plays a pretty large part in the valuation of a cryptocurrency. The hard cap can not be changed, it is part of Bitcoin's core features and code. The creator of Bitcoin, the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto, created Bitcoin with a maximum supply of 21 million for a very good reason. Follow The 'Stache as I explain exactly what a hard cap is and why it is an important factor in determining if a coin is valued correctly. Circulating VS Total VS Maximum Supply The overall supply of a coin can be broken down into 3 main parts: Circulating Supply, Total Supply, & Maximum Supply. A great place to see this information, and my go-to source, is CoinMarketCap.com. They list out each type of supply (if a coin has each, more on that in a sec), and it helps to give you the big picture. Circulating Supply is the amount of coins that are actively out in circulation being traded or held. Some projects have all their coins pre-mined, some release every coin from the start, while others you have to mine the coins over time, or they are released on a schedule. Regardless, circulating supply only refers to what is available at the moment. Total Supply is the amount of coins that are in existence at the moment. These coins are created already, but they are not necessarily in circulation. An example would be the Federal Reserve printing a fresh batch of USD to get them ready for release. They are not yet in circulation, but would still count towards the total supply of all USD ever created. Maximum Supply is the big one. This lets you know that a coin does in fact have a hard cap and denotes the amount of coins that will ever be in existence. In Bitcoin's case, the current Circulating Supply is 16,676,337 BTC, while the Maximum Supply is 21,000,000 which leaves 4,323,663 million Bitcoin left to come into existence through mining. (Check my article on mining Bitcoin here). Coins With No Max Supply Some cryptocurrencies have no maximum supply at all! These coins have various different rules as to how coins come into existence that vary slightly. Take into account the #2 cryptocurrency Ethereum. Ethereum has a current circulating supply of 95,688,485 ETH, but it has no maximum supply. Why is this? Well Ethereum has different rules governing the creating of new coins in comparison to Bitcoin. Ethereum uses block processing time and mining difficulty adjustments to control how much ETH can be mined. This is in place to not flood the market too quickly. Putting Together The Pieces Now that we know exactly what a hard cap or maximum supply is and why some coins have them and others don't we can use that information to make some basic assumptions of value and price. This is called Market Capitalization and is the base line for most people to calculate a cryptocurrencies value. It goes like this: Price x Circulating Supply = Market Capitalization This is how popular sites like CoinMarketCap.com calculate the over all market capitalization of a coin. While we have great resources like CoinMarketCap for the established coins and projects, where this information is REALLY REALLY useful is in the ICO market. The ICO Wild West
Initial Coin Offerings also called "ICO's" have been huge in 2017 with many projects raising millions of dollars. I won't go into full details about ICOs, but you can read my previous article about what is an ICO? These ICO projects are not yet on the exchanges or markets to be traded, but they typically have some sort of plan to do so. They offer their coins BEFORE this happens as a way to support the project directly. As such, calculating their initial market capitalization using the information they give you is key to determine if the ICO is a good value or is way over-valued. You can take the price they are offering their tokens at, times the amount of supply they are going to offer initially and come up with your own market capitalization for the coin. Of course you must take in consideration factors like "pre-mined" coins as well as coins that will be kept by the development team. All these factors, along with whether they have a max supply or now, will help you to determine the true value of that hot new ICO. Now with your new found knowledge, go forth and research those projects and determine for your self if they are truly worth investing in! 'Stache Length x 'Stache Wax = Maximum 'Stache Curl!

Keeping Track Of Your Cryptocurrency Portfolio; Best Apps of 2017
Whether you are a day trader, swing trader, or just a HODLer of cryptocurrency it can be a nightmare trying to keep track of all your investments. I put together this list of the top cryptocurrency portfolio management and tracking sites of 2017 so you don't have to dig through all the options!
CoinTrackr.com - It don't get simpler then CoinTrackr.com!
