Oh, a great comp to Thralls of Power in regards to themes and relationship to canon would be Black Sails. It's wild I didn't think of it before actually.
#thoughts#thralls of power#animatic project#black sails#thralls is not at all as grimdark as black sails can get.#it's less grimdark and more whimsical than my stories about the adult timeline for comparaison#feels far more zelda-esque I think --at least I try to capture that early 3D zelda vibe as best I can#I try to take its more first degree childish wonder elements seriously. at least I try.
