Katya Martin Rejected from the exclusive and elite New York City art scene, one young, unknown painter cheats the system to become recognized once and for all. GoBeyond: The Brooklyn Bridge 2-min, dir. Jenn Halweil GoBeyond is a digital docuseries about the women who built NYC and the women who are currently redefining our understanding of science and the universe. Day One 3-min, dir. Ellie Gravitte A young woman struggling with self identity imagines a not-so-unlikely encounter with a stranger on the subway. About the Director: Ellie Gravitte is an award winning filmmaker based in New York City whose queer-centric work seeks to subvert and then expand a cultural conscience surrounding the portrayal of queerness and women in film. Crossing the River 15-min, dir. Emilie McDonald Inspired by a true story, "Crossing the River" is about a young white boy who is influenced to commit a hate crime against a biracial girl who is his friend.
