"You don't need to apologize, Little Bee. There was never a chance Caitriona was going to be on time. She's still getting used to being a mother." The truth of the matter was that with their parents gone there wasn't a single chance that they would keep up with their Christmas Day dinner traditions. At least, that had been the case until she had his nephew. With no one else to keep the Winston-Watson traditions alive, she'd agreed to come out to Baltimore for the holidays and if felt fitting to have Belina meet them since it may be another year before the opportunity came up. Taking the dessert, he nodded her inside. "Are you ready for this?"

"Hudson, Caitriona's... Do I just call him her boyfriend? I feel like that's so ridiculous now that they have a child. Honestly, I haven't even talked to Mo enough to know if they're back together. They got pregnant banging each other while they were broken up." Tristan rubbed his temple in frustration. "Sorry, Little Bee. She may be all the family I have, but we've always been so different." TK didn't like showing her this side of himself, the one that was always seeing the worst in Caitriona, but it was more difficult now than ever. He combed his fingers through the silky strands of her blonde hair and let out a long, slow breath. "Thank you for coming. I know you're nervous, I can see it." He tapped her nose and kissed her forehead, "Don't be. You're so damn lovable. If you want to help, though. I could probably use a taste tester on the mashed potatoes and other softer sides. I'm hoping Nash can eat that stuff, but I don't know a damn think about babies."
Belina let out a sigh of relief as he explained his sister hadn't arrived yet. Something she took very seriously was being punctual and would tend to beat herself up over being late, she had her father to blame for that. "Absolutely," She flashed him a warm smile, leaning up on her tip toes to kiss his cheek as she slipped past him. "Do you need help getting anything else ready or are you pretty much all done?" The blonde may of shared many dinners with Tristan in the past, but this time around, she was nervous about meeting his sister. Making a good first impression was important to her, after all she cared deeply about her brother and wanted to make sure she approved of their relationship.
