Pulled over on the side of the road, every door of her Land Cruiser open, Catherine used the light from her phone and one of her heels in the other hand as she tossed the few items in the car around. She hardly heard the person behind her ask if she needed help. With he heart racing, she turned around, ready to smack them with the shoe before crossing. Trying to be casual about her behavior while balancing on one foot. It only took moments to become fully aware that they probably had a whole view of her ass in her hiked up pencil skirt. “You’ll judge me for it, but I don’t know you so have at it. There’s an offensively massive spider in my car and that bastard has to die for trying to crash my car and kill me." She huffed, glaring into the car. "I think he’s hiding under a seat. I’m about 0.005 seconds from lighting the car on fire for peace of mind.” Not knowing them, she withheld the fact that she was about halfway through her trip to her parent's in Boston and definitely wasn’t within walking distance of help- not that a spider in a car warranted an distress call. “You’re not an axe murderer, are you?” Catherine had seen enough Netflix documentaries to be leery of hot strangers in the middle of the night.
