My frog eating faves yasss
Crannogmen are really just whatever you think of when you think of poor medieval ppl. They don’t got a lot to work with in the swamps. Very roughspun wool clothing, rope corded belts, old repurposed cloaks and over-garments, worn leather bags. Things that can easily be removed or added to an outfit, depending on the season, or depending on what they’re doing, whether it’s fishing or farming. In canon all of the Crannogmen are very poor, even the reeds to some extent. They are just eking out a living in the swamps
You very rarely see a crannogman unless they want you to see them, but if you do happen to catch a glimpse, they’re probably dressed like this. When they’re outside of their homes, especially for the women, clothing becomes very lightweight and easy to move around in. And old tunic, fitted breeches, high boots, and usually some sort of vest or jacket tied with a leather belt that they can shove their tools into. Even the Reeds frequently wear things like this, as I highly doubt they’re just sitting in their castle. They’re moving around, getting shit done #meerareedgirlboss

Let's get some things straight here:
I did not reblog this from you. I don't follow you. I don't know about any rule you have about what can and cannot be said on your fan page, especially because I put it on my page. Heck, I didn't even know this was from a fan blog, I thought it was from just a comic blog.
To me, this is an out of context set of panels. I don't know what's going on, other than Reed is getting eaten by a dinosaur, and Ben gets it off of him, only to be chewed on himself. To me, this looks as though Reed would rather take care of science problems than dinosaur ones.
Ableism. Yes, good, tell me, a person you don't know, that my views for disliking a character are because I am ableist, or that I am a part of a larger anti-autism part of the fandom. Piss off with that noise. This is the first time I've ever read that Richards is autistic in my 20+ years of reading comics. Admittedly, that's on me because I don't read a lot of Fantastic Four.
I'm glad you like Reed Richards. I don't generally care for him, I'm more of a fan of Ben Grimm. My view of Reed is skewed far away from yours. I still see him from what I remember from old cartoons and the 2005 film, in which his biggest character traits that stuck out to me were his absentmindedness to anything but scientific pursuits and his attitude toward anyone other than Ben or Sue who didn't get science as well as him, and more recently from the Ultimate version, in which he actually becomes a villain. Yes, these are different versions, but that's what sticks out to me, and because of those points, I don't care for Reed.
And this is the biggest thing, the most important part of this all: you were the one who sought out to yell at me and prove 101 Reasons Why Reed Richards Is The Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread. You could have gone your entire day without doing this. My reblog would have never showed up on your blog, just in your notifications.
I thank you (and I am being honest here, not snarky) for enlightening me about what I didn't know about Reed Richards, but this calling out was completely uncalled for. By lighting up a one off remark about how I feel about a fictional character, you made me look like an uncaring ableist ass, while trying to make yourself look like a wounded saint defending your unproblematic fave. Instead, now I see you as a vindictive monster who would foam at the mouth at the mere mention of any flaw in the FF.
Now, all that said, I did not mean to offend you. I am sorry, really and truly. Again, I do thank you for educating me on Reed Richards.
Ben has things under control.
