Nemona checked on all of us to make sure we were ok. Once we caught our breath, our group met another classmate named Arven. I had a quick battle with him too. Turns out he has the creature's Pokeball. I think its name is Koriadon? Glad to have them both on my side! I wonder if I'll see that Arven guy in class? Nemona then decided she'll meet us on campus.

Once we arrived at the school entrance, we caught up with Nemona. She insisted we have another battle, this time showing me a technique called Terastallizing. Looked cool! I'm not exactly sure what it effects due to Hamhock beating her Pawni in one hit with Echoed Voice. Then she showed me around our college town called Mesagoza. There are lots of places to eat food and shop so I think I'll enjoy it here!

We started strolling down the path with my newfound rival, when suddenly there was a roar. I saw the same red creature as before! The poor thing looked weak so I fed it a sandwich. I guess that helped him feel better. A lot better. The dragon led me through a cave and started breaking rocks and battling Houndours. It was pretty awesome. What was not so awesome was a Houndoom sneaking up and cornering my team! Don't those Pokemon leave burns that last forever!? We thought we were done for until the dragon saved us. By literally picking me up and jumping away from danger. Wild, right?

I met a senior class member named Nemona shortly after choosing Laurel for my journey. Apparently she really likes battling! We had our own battle where she taught me about type advantages. It turns out Laurel is a brave little one with a temper! Not only did she win the fight, but she nearly clawed a Lechonk's face off when Nemona showed me how to catch a Pokemon. I named him Hamhock based on how tasty he looks.

Rule 1: If a Pokemon faints, it dies.

Rule 2: The first Pokemon on each route is the only one you can catch. This rule does not apply if it's the same species of Pokemon or if it is shiny.

Rule 3: You cannot own two of the same kind of Pokemon.

Rule 4: All Pokemon must be nicknamed.

Rule 5: If all Pokemon faint, game over.

Naranja Academy is a huge place to say the least. We reported in on the situation with that Team Star gang before heading to class. Our homeroom teacher, Mr. Jacq had me introduce myself to the class before I explored the campus from the inside. I got to meet up with Arven again! He started talking about these rare ingredients called the Herbal Mystica, and how they're guarded by giant Titan Pokemon. In the middle of our conversation, I was interrupted by a mysterious phone caller to ask me if I could help take down Team Star's leaders. Afterwards in the study hall, Nemona encouraged me to take the gym challenge and teach Champion rank. Then Principal Clavell had me meet with Professor Sada for the first time. She asked if I had Koriadon with me, and explained how she was Koriadon's original owner. And asked if I could continue to look after them. Seems like everyone is asking for favors today. I don't think I'll mind that last one too much. After all was said and done, I got to rest in my new dorm room.

Ugh, I think I ate too much...I also bought some school clothes in the city. I'm loving how my new hat and gloves look! The Pokemon seemed excited to be able to see the sights too! We encountered some weirdo kids trying to pressure a girl into joining a gang along the way. After beating one, Nemona gave me a device that would allow me to try Terastallizing for myself! It wasn't even remotely a challenge. The kids ran off, and I got to work off some of the food I ate from battling and taking the stairs. Talk about a win-win situation!

We made it to a place called Los Platos. There we rested at a Pokemon Center that looked like it was themed after a pit stop. Seems accurate, considering we didn't stay there too long. Good thing too-I think I found a rare Pokemon! A Ralts leaning against a large oak tree. I realized how lucky I was when I caught him. Male Ralts aren't very common! I read from somewhere that if I found a Dawn stone, I can evolve him into a Gallade! He was named after an ancient weapon of the past called a Rapier, considered priceless even back in the day.

*So for future reference this is my first time journaling. Wow so this is kind of new and exciting! I was looking out the window when I saw a big red flying dragon thing! It was neat. Completely unrelated, it was my first day of school. Had to go through a speech from some principal guy who randomly showed up at my house. Yawn. At least one interesting thing happened, he had three Pokemon follow me around. One of which was a cute Sprigatito! I named her Laurel based off her soft, grassy looking fur.
