WOO BET, okay so let’s start with the obvious

RedHeart!Nikolai - The Namesake of the au! BlackDiamond!Sigma - Diamond cards can represent the economy or merchants, it’s fitting since this man is the only one with a semi stable job that he’s not betraying, also! They represent air! Like sky! Like the sky casino! and also, sharp. I’ve always associated sigmas design with sharp but soft edges, deceptively soft looking until you end up cut, like how diamonds can have either rounded or sharp edges! Black is similarly just a better color on sigma then red, and a color of mourning for him? Yes please! Mourning the loss of the life he might have had, and the loss of like his semi insane co worker slash maybe friend? Yeah! That’s him.

RedSpade!Fukuchi - not only do spades represent the military, which, hehe, fitting, they also represent labor and toiling away at something, which.. again, fitting! I chose red because he looks better with red, but, also because of the blood on his hands that I feel hangs on his mind, haunts his waking and sleeping days.

BlackClub! Bram - I debated on if he would be Club or Heart, really, but I think Club fits him better, it represents command and power, which. Gestures to his vampire army, and winter, which I’ve always associated with Bram, the cold and muted colors, very vampiric, very Him. And you may be wondering “oh Airplane why Not red like blood?” WELL THAYS BECAUSE Black is cooler okay and also I have plans of RedClub!Aya.

AND FINALLY.

BlackHeart!Fyodor.

Okay, so Fyodor has and always will be black heart okay okay because LOOK AT HIM it’s so obvious besides my tragic/toxic Fyolai agenda, anyways, Heart represents priests, the church, GOD TIES and that’s so Fyodor, it’s also the beginning of life, where as Fyodor ironically ends them without so much as a blink. It’s ironic, I love irony, boom. He’s Black because it looks better on him AND because he takes all of the things the card suit stands for to most people, what HEARTS mean and he taints them, he uses connections AGAINST people, he taints religion to viewing HIM as a god, he ends life rather then begins it, He is the opposite of what heart is, so. BlackHeart!Fyodor.

How would we feel if I spilled the “names” of the DOA in the redheart au and their reasonings? (E.X Sigma is BlackDiamond!Sigma, Nikolai is RedHeart!Nikolai)
