Okay I can be coherent about Hux's "[non-canon]" confession now. (previously on cheezy yaps)

It's, first of all, incredibly vulnerable of Huxley to have shared that place with anyone (which is why I believe he fell first between him and Freelancer).

It's Freelancer having specifically wanted to go back to that spot. A place where they could be vulnerable too.

It's Freelancer not only wanting to recontextualize bridging for themselves but wanting to do it with Huxley, the first person to find out what Kody did, the person who has been their rock and staunchest support around the whole situation. The person who told them what bridging is supposed to be.

And it was exactly as beautiful and intimate as he described.

I'm never not going to be emotional about Damien and Huxley's "[non-canon]" confessions.

I feel like at least everything leading up to the confession should be canon.

Damien calling Freelancer his best friend and showing them that he cares with little things like turning on his AC so they would be comfortable.

And I have too many thoughts about bridging with Hux to be coherent about it 🥺

That's not to say I don't also have thoughts and feelings about Lasko's but I'm still trying to figure out where it falls in my idea of the timeline. May expand on his at a later date.
