I’m incredibly excited for tomorrow, because that’s the day SEBASTIAN VETTEL GETS TO DRIVE HIS RED BULL RB7 (aka “KINKY KYLIE”) AROUND THE NÜRBURGRING NORDSCHLEIFE!!!!

I very nearly booked tickets to go there, but then I realised the price was in euros (���) and not British pounds (£), so I couldn’t go! 😢

I really wanted to meet Seb and get his autograph and a picture with him. It’s been my dream goal ever since his Red Bull years. Oh well…

I’m going to GIF the hell out of that day if Red Bull Germany decide to upload videos of it. If not, I’ll go on a hunt for some fan videos.

Not sure if Danny Ric will be there to join Seb. From what I’ve heard, his hand hasn’t healed fully yet. He did put a post up on his Insta about it today, which simply said “Relatively unchanged”, so I doubt it will happen. I wish him a speedy recovery all the same and I wish Seb the best of luck. 🙏🏻

Big fan of family members of F1 drivers/team principals whose favourite F1 driver isn't the one they're directly related to or that their family member is still directly involved with. See Christian Horner's daughter who's favorite driver was not either Checo or Max aka her dad's current driver line up but Sebastian Vettel who left red bull at the end of 2014 (a true mood, I miss him too sweetheart) and Max's little cousin who's favourite driver seems to be Charles Leclerc (in this case he might just follow his older cousin with good taste lmao).

Word on the street (*Sky F1 Germany gossip) has it that Helmut Marko is going to be fired (this race weekend) 😶

When asked about it he said that he doesn't want to talk about it, but he will have a meeting tomorrow with Oliver Mintzlaff (Red Bull CEO). He also said that he has to see if he even wants to continue working there.

did you see the Helmut Marko article where he says Daniel is not on their level? Isn't the timing a bit sus? especially since the AT article said his sim times were impressive? what do you think? are they trying to dispell rumours or?

it's interesting, for sure!! personally i'm wondering how up to date the info helmut has is, cause obviously we all know—and even daniel himself would admit—that when he first got in the sim his times were Not Good, but they've drastically improved since then. so when some of the other quotes seem to point more towards the EARLY early days of daniel coming back into the team, i wonder if that's also part of that??? but that's just me clinging to whatever hope and delusion i can lmao

but i mean at the same time, right now as it stands, it IS in red bull's best interest to make it clear to checo and his team that everything's cool, everything's kosher, they're not trying to start ww3 right now. so in that sense it makes sense to downplay daniel and what he may or may not be doing in the sim. but that's also exactly why it's so fucking weird that they DIDN'T do that with that long-ass welcome home video they posted last week?? minutes upon minutes spent with him talking about wanting a race seat, picturing himself in that seat [cut to checo looking stressed], the fire growing within himself etc etc etc without a second thought about it 😭
