Jesus is telling us to change our lives now, to forgive and repent now. Be reconciled before you find yourself at the judgment seat of divine justice. Jesus wants us to leave anything that keeps us from loving Him and our neighbors fully. “I say to you, you will not be released until you have paid the last penny.”  Gospel, Matthew 5:25-26 #jesus #forgive #love #lgbtcatholic #recoveryjmj #paradise #lgbtcatholicsoldier https://www.instagram.com/p/Bypzn-CnoyQ/?igshid=11hjj5voik8nq

Jesus invites us in a gentle way filled with love and mercy. We should always accept this invitation that we may need more often than we realize.  The Lord will lighten our daily burden, relieve our worries, our stress, our concerns and all that weighs us down.  Jesus said: “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.”  Matthew 11:28 #recoveryjmj #lgbtcatholicsoldier #gospel #jesus #love https://www.instagram.com/p/B0Dpj0NH9QY/?igshid=18sz6llgebz4u

What a perfect verse for the month of LGBT pride and for all the marginalized in the world. We have the opportunity to show the world the love of the Father. Even though we are persecuted and rejected we will listen to Jesus and show love to All of Gods children. Brothers and sisters this will not be easy, but ask the Holy Spirit for courage, for our rewards will be like nothing we ever could imagine. “But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your heavenly Father.”  Gospel, Matthew 5:44-45 #recoveryjmj #lgbtcatholicsoldier #forgive #love #jesus https://www.instagram.com/p/By2lIi8nGby/?igshid=hp01xl4g2oi1

In the name of the Father who created me, the Son who redeemed me and the Holy Spirit who sanctified me I offer my day to you. Thank you for sending us Your Son to save us and Your Spirit to be with us always! Your the God who is, who was, and who is to come. Alleluia! “All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age”  Gospel, Matthew 28:18-20 #trinity #1in3 #love #gospel #lgbtcatholicsoldier #recoveryjmj #lgbtcatholic #jesus https://www.instagram.com/p/Byxde1MHUD5/?igshid=1gl1eimosjhx5

Father, help me keep You present in my life all day long every day. Help me always seek You and always be aware of Your presence in my life. “At daybreak, Jesus left and went to a deserted place. The crowds went looking for him, and when they came to him, they tried to prevent him from leaving them.” Gospel, Luke 4:42 #recoveryjmj #lgbtcatholicsoldier https://www.instagram.com/p/B1_iE9HHxYF/?igshid=1r8v2ea72s6y6

The evil one and his demons are walking among us and that can be a scary thought, however we have no need to fear for the Father is and always will be victorious over any evil we will encounter. Stay close to Jesus and His army of angels and saints and you will always be safe from the evil spirits of this world. “But Jesus rebuked it, saying, 'Be quiet! Come out of him!' And the devil, throwing the man into the middle, went out of him without hurting him at all.” Gospel, Luke 4:35 #recoveryjmj #lgbtcatholicsoldier https://www.instagram.com/p/B19AIfYHzJb/?igshid=18el46dxa9714

Are we showing the world what it means to be a follower of Christ? Stay humble and help those who will never be able to repay you. When we meet the Father we will be repaid more then any earthly amount could bring. “For everyone who raises himself up will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be raised up. Then he said to his host, 'When you give a lunch or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relations or rich neighbours, in case they invite you back and so repay you. No; when you have a party, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind; then you will be blessed, for they have no means to repay you and so you will be repaid when the upright rise again.” Gospel, Luke 14:11-14 #recoveryjmj #lgbtcatholicsoldier #rewardsinheaven https://www.instagram.com/p/B12s0eInh02/?igshid=1asojts3f0kr6

When you meet the Father will He say to you “Well done, my good and faithful servant. Or will He say I do not know You. It is true we cannot earn heaven, however what we do on this earth will determine what the Father will say to us when we meet Him. Stay close to Jesus and follow His will in all things. “His master said to him, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant.  Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities.  Come, share your master’s joy.’”  Gospel, Matthew 25:23 #recoveryjmj #lgbtcatholicsoldier #followjesus https://www.instagram.com/p/B11MUwHnRpU/?igshid=adbqnkla7ony

Father, allow my heart to be a dwelling place for Your divine heart.  Let Your love beat through my heart. Let my life be an example of Your perfect care and love for others. Will Jesus say to you I do not know you or will He say welcome home? “‘Lord, Lord, open the door for us!’ But he said in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, I do not know you.’”  Gospel, Matthew 25:11b-12 #lgbtcatholicsoldier #recoveryjmj https://www.instagram.com/p/B1y4PHenEzb/?igshid=1lc1a0r3lmn5s

Father give me the strength that Your Son and St. John the Baptist had, as I carry my own crosses in life. Help me remain faithful. Jesus, I trust in You. The girl hurried back to the king’s presence and made her request, “I want you to give me at once on a platter the head of John the Baptist.”  The king was deeply distressed, but because of his oaths and the guests he did not wish to break his word to her. So he promptly dispatched an executioner with orders to bring back his head.  Gospel, Matthew 6:25-27 #recoveryjmj #lgbtcatholicsoldier #hiswillnotmine https://www.instagram.com/p/B1wL-Q3nEpX/?igshid=13pj4v0eopr5v

Simple message from the Father. We must be cleansed from the inside out. Once the inside is cleansed the outside automatically becomes cleansed, not the other way around. Bring Jesus on the inside and it will show on the outside. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites. You cleanse the outside of cup and dish, but inside they are full of plunder and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee, cleanse first the inside of the cup, so that the outside also may be clean.”  Gospel, Matthew 23:25-26 #recoveryjmj #lgbtcatholicsoldier #fromtheinsideout https://www.instagram.com/p/B1rq5e6nu3y/?igshid=y8pyne33vp76

When we arrive will the Father say to us “Well done, good and faithful servant.”  Or will He say, “I do not know you.” What line are you in?  “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I tell you, will attempt to enter but will not be strong enough.”  Gospel, Luke 13:24 #recoveryjmj #lgbtcatholicsoldier #followjesus https://www.instagram.com/p/B1ltpLan4i4/?igshid=1qect9pxx44nk

Are you all in? Totally committed to serving the Father and His will for you? When we truly love the Father with all of our being, we have total trust in Him, which will set a fire in our hearts. The Father will take control and transform us. The blazing fire in us will allow us to do great thing for those around us. We will witness first hand his amazing power and transforming love and it will happen through us. What an amazing gift. “When the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together, and one of them, a scholar of the law, tested him by asking, “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” He said to him, “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”  Gospel, Matthew 22:34-37 #recoveryjmj #lgbtcatholicsoldier #setmeablaze #wildgoose #seejesusnotme https://www.instagram.com/p/B1f3VSoHSEz/?igshid=1daqmfiua54o2
