aita for being a cannibal , and having to get more stock?

Now , I know that sounds horrific and shit and yes , it is. but hear me out here , alright? ,, just like..give me a chance.

I (M26) , work in Tokyo at what I’d personally call a deli. Basically , I just chop up meat , and then sell it to people , easy. And for some reason I’ve found , human meat just tastes better. It’s sweeter , the blood tastes like metal but you can deal with it , and the texture is great. It also sells better. Unfortunately , the only way to obtain said meat , is by kidnapping people. So I'm doing my usual thing to get it , I have the meat sedated by this point , and I notice two of them are missing. Of course , it pisses me off and sets back the task , so now I have to go find them. ( I know this is making me sound like a criminal , but you gotta do what you gotta do you make cash. )

Anyway , I manage to find the two missing pieces of meat , one of them knocked over something very important ( can’t disclose what. ) which made a really loud sound. The smaller one is shaking , staring me straight in the only eye he can see. (think he was a middle schooler) and the older girl , about my age , was clearly trying to calm him down. He starts frantically pointing at me , The older girl looks up to see what he’s pointing at , and she freezes in fear. I take this as the perfect time to sedate the both of them , after all having pre-injured meat isn’t the worst , takes a little longer to prepare though. I grab my knife , and I sprint at it. I miss , as the two manage to back away in time. And when I get back up , I get directly stabbed in the back by the older one. That shit hurt. They ran off , and it was very audible that the middle schooler was screaming at the top of his lungs in fear.

the two escaped , and they’re probably gonna get me fired , and arrested. Plus I’m injured right now , so I guess we’ll burn that corpse when we come to it.

So , AITA for doing my job?
