Remember when I pitched the concept of Chuuya developing a fear of lightning/electricity after the events of Storm Bringer and the Dragon's Head Conflict?

Thunder doesn't bother him, he deals with loud noises on the daily. No, it's the lightning itself that gets to him.

So obviously the solution is to close his eyes and wait for the storm to pass while berating himself because he should be better than this.

i apologize in advance for the insane amount of bnha that's about to come out of my queue, like seriously, weeks' worth of bnha. when it ended a few months ago i went on a crazy nostalgia induced reblogging and queueing spree and my queue is so fucking long that it took until now to get to it.

I don’t know if this is just me being a Tumblr Old™️ and I say this with the utmost respect and grace: Tumblr is a blogging site, not a message board. It’s meant for people to share their own thoughts on their own pages, and share posts they find interesting through reblogging. That is how this platform grew into the hellsite we’ve known and loved and loathed for over a decade.

If a reader doesn’t care for what a person is posting, it is exceedingly easy to just move on (by scrolling/unfollowing/muting/etc.). Blogs don’t exist to platform other people’s thoughts — that’s what creating their own blog is for! Eventually any user can find their community, however small. But expecting an existing user to carry conversations they don’t care for is not how the site works and it’s not how community building or hobby building works, either.

I’ve seen strange things happen to friends I cherish and other blogs I deeply respect across many fandoms in recent months here on different scales and it just strikes me as so bizarre and ultimately unfruitful. Everyone has their time constraints and boundaries and likes and dislikes, and they are free to act accordingly on their platform of choice, but it is *their* choice. Others can’t expect or force them to respond in the manner they want.

Anyway, back to yelling at clouds again or something.

#this isn’t just about the Taylor fandom (although it’s a big one)#but I’ve seen things like this happen to good friends here in other fandoms for months now #(and on other platforms)#and it’s just… bizarre to me #I guess I’m too old for all of this now lol #like idk create a side blog and rot online like the rest of us lol #anyway may delete may turn off reblogs may turn off other things idk

Episode written precisely for my personal liking #Too bad no Atsushi then it would have been perfect (╥﹏╥) At least we got his voice in the episdoe preview #Alright I **LOVE** Mitchell. This is not the space to talk about it properly but I just really like how flawed she is‚#but also in a way that results funny and endearing. And I love love love how much she cares about her family and is loyal to it!!!#It makes her so noble and virtuous. I know she has so little screentime but really the way she's so harsh and in apparence self-absorbed–#But in reality so kind and altruistic... The way her hearsh ways are implied to be only a consequence of a life of struggles and her will–#to save her family's name through a noble behavior and appearance too... It makes her so complex and multilayered imo #AND just how her innate tendency to defend people spans out of her family too!!!!#In my interpretation she did NOT care for Hawthorne or like him. But she still gave her life for him because she just instinctively–#protects the people around her. I don't have any strong feelings for haw/mitch but like how to blame Hawthorne I would have–#fallen for her right that istant too.#Now to Akutagawa. I'm really endeared by this episode because I'm pretty sure that's when I started sympathizing with / liking him :')#Like that's the moment when the things Dark Era showed us and the canon Akutagawa behavior click together and the watcher goes “Oh. OH.”#At least I'm pretty sure it was for me. It's bittersweet but especially sweet.#One more thing is... Wow bsd really has been like *that* since the beginning hasn't it.
