for those who aren't aware, the season finale of House of the Dragon apparently leaked in full yesterday. I follow a ton of hotd fan blogs, and now my dash is full of spoilers, despite me blocking all of the leak and spoiler tags. People I followed because theyre good gif makers are all whining and sending each other public asks like "I'm not gonna spoil anything but I watched the leak and ohmygod I hate the writers for what they did with (character) and how they butchered (plotline)! Why didnt they (person's opinion of how the story should go) instead of ____" 🤡🤡🤡 Like that doesn't basically spoil it!! What are you doing!!

Like. This show becomes my biggest hyperfixation whenever it airs, and anyone who's seen my reblogs for the last 2 months knows that eyepatch legolas is my evil blorbo. And while I have read the books (and own a signed one! And a fuckin aemond pillowcase!), and enjoy reading discussions and theories and all of that, I don't want to know what happens in the season finale until it airs on Sunday. Is that really too much to ask?? The finale will air, and then there won't be any more episodes for at least 2 years. I'll never tell people not to spoil things for themselves or watch ahead if they want to, but f u c k. Let the rest of us savor the experience! Don't talk about spoilers outside of the spoiler tags!! I feel like I can't even use this site rn unless I block every person who talks about the show, because they're all freaking out about what they've seen, out in the open!

I've been letting my lovely Star Trek fanfics stack up for a few weeks, planning to binge read them after the hotd hype leaves me a bit. Well damn, it happened sooner than I expected. My nice, safe blorbo (and his less 'safe' evil twin blorbo 😎) can't be spoiled for me, and they have a much chiller fanbase. So I'll be on tumblr very little this week, probably only to check notifs and certain non-dragon show blogs. My daily routine includes hanging out on here, I always scroll tumblr while my meds kick in, but now I can't. So now I'm gonna go pull up my favorite tng episodes and try not to be sad about the huge hotd spoilers I've already seen 😔

Yeah no I do think he could win... Although he mightve seriously hurt his allyship w pearl last episode, so I'm worried about that, she's not someone you want to anger or get on your bad side. But if he can cling to Joel then he should be okay. Joel's really good at being a red life.

I'm so worried because bdubs has a really difficult task rn, it would be better for him to reroll than spend all session trying to accomplish it, because it's so risky. I'm so worried because of that I rly rly hope for his sake he rerolls, I know it means - 2 hearts but if he gets an easier task he can very easily gain them back

He's also got martyn at his side although I wouldn't necessarily call martyn trustworthy.... I also don't know how much I would trust grian not to hurt bdubs, whilst cletho I think is pretty safe to assume won't lay a finger on him

As for gem and the scotts.... It's rrally hard to tell. Scott is always a force to reckon with in those series because he's such a try hard AJDKSJDD, and then both impulse and gem are very, very very very good at this game, so they are very much to be feared, and they're very tight knit. It wouldn't be surprising if one of them won, but I maintain that it would be more satisfying if someone like bdubs or etho or Joel won. It's not even just bc they're my blorbos I swear LOL they've just had such good arcs this season

I also don't know if scar would be likely to target bdubs.... Bdubs is very likely to target scar in spite of their 'truce'. I don't think scar realises just how angry bdubs still is at him. Thing is, Scar can be pretty deadly, and I thhhhink he's got more hearts than bdubs atm? So a fight against him might not go so well

Bless their hearts I don't think there's much to worry re: the heart foundation, I think they'll be mroe focused on getting revenge on Scar, Bdubs hasn't really antagonised them and they're also, I say this with so so much love, not amazing at pvp or being red lives LOL

dominion smp, which some members call DSMP for what's probably seo reasons but i find intensely hilarious because it's technically not wrong to abbreviate it like that, is a small lightly modded server based around the origins mod! basically, each member has a different origin, and in much the same way empires members are loosely the ruler of their respective countries, you can sort of consider each dominion member to be kind of a paragon of their respective origin.

thing is, while dominion is defined in part by its relation to the origins mod, there is also a lot of plot stuff that happens that is only tangentially related to the fact that everyone is creatures -- you've got people beefing over stolen goods, everyone sort of vying for power in a vacuum while trying to not seem obvious about it, taxes of "give me all of your diamonds every two weeks i am no longer asking nicely", and also. whatever the hell is going on with shadowmech.

oh yeah also literally like 75% of these ccs have 2000+ day hardcore worlds so the builds are insane.

grady, enderian: doesn't have many episodes and is mainly a streamer. his character is half wet cat and half "guy that makes that's what she said jokes", but somehow in a different direction from scar?

legundo, piglin: champion of the piglins, sent to the overworld by his people for. well for takeover purposes probably. this mostly involves doing capitalism and having trusting-distrustful dynamics with the besties. actually the main server admin but this never comes up incharacter.

fixxitt, inchling: starts off as a thief, escalates WILDLY until by episode 5 welsknight is telling him "you fucked up, buddy" and then he builds a gigantic house. has 2 musical numbers in the middle of episodes that will absolutely knock you out if you're not prepared. also has very good cinematics.

nukeri, elytrian: democracy lover and guy who really, really just wants everyone to get along. canonically descended from icarus; all my friends have emotions about him and i haven't watched him yet but he's a major blorbo-in-law. i'd make a joke about how he's the resident gay scot of the server since they couldn't get smajor, but he literally does have a voice cameo from scott in his s1 finale.

rnjoy, witch: loves doing mad science, committing tax fraud, and has a mushroom son in s2 now. not a lot of s1 episodes but she loves her ravager gertrude i know that much. currently being hunted by --

shadowmech, witherborn: hitman of the server who is only withered rn because he ate a really bad porkchop. no episodes currently, he's in the process of doing a supercut of all his s1 stuff. is also in the process of uh. being very possessed and possibly being the s2 arc baddie rn. it's. fiiiiine. he's just not speaking to anyone and also attacking them during blood moons! totally chill

sneve, blazeborn: like if keralis was oli orionsound but with less musical numbers. sneve is an experience that cannot be described. just. watch his episodes there's only like 3 of them it'll tell you everything and nothing you need to know

taneesha, goat: lover of domes and also psychological warfare. started an advancement race probably as an excuse to steal people's shit. not a lot of s1 episodes but has some plot stuff anyway since she kind of got invited to join jamie's. void cult. yeaaaahhhh.

vikingpilot, phantom: SOMETHING IS SO VERY WRONG WITH HIM. sweet ghostboy who is also incredibly unhinged. canonically dead and was also intangible and invisible for the beginning half of s1 up until the dragon fight. does dark magic, or is at least planning to do dark magic. pluralcoded and you can fight me on this. honestly my top pick for "if you only get one pov"

started at the beginning of s2:

progamebot/josh, sporeling: one video so far! joy's mushroom son. helping her make potions out of a van in the desert atm, which is. actually a breaking bad reference, not a reference to that other dsmp. canonically like a week old at the most. doing pretty well considering this.

kiply, fairy: no episodes yet, but uh. i've been watching her other stuff on and off and something is seriously wrong with her in the best way possible. plays on i think at least 2 different lifesteal-type smps? she is unhinged. she is not a reliable narrator. i love her.

dalilred (wolf) and itsryan (iron golem) also REALLY recently joined so i haven't gotten a pin on their vibes yet. red seems like she has a little bit of a cottagecore aesthetic and ryan seems to be kind of closer to sneve on the shitposter end of the mcyter spectrum, but that's all i've got

but basically. i liked him at first because i caught a glimpse of him and was like "oh ya. he is definitely my type" and then ultimately started genshin because i needed him on my team HAHA he was my first ever five star that i pulled and my second most spoiled goober (the first being xiao xiao).

eventually, i got to his part of the archon quest and i was just absolutely floored with his fight and then his third phase... like wow foul legacy <3 and then his story quest....

i come from a large family and grew up with a lot of kids; like i have a looot of nephews and nieces that i love dearly and would do literally anything for them. so seeing childe's story quest hit me pretty deep knowing that he overexerted himself just to protect teucer haha. he's a family man and the fact that he would quite literally do anything to ensure the safety of the people that he loves just. gets to my heartstrings.

also like he's such?? a goober??? you're telling me this evil guy who nearly terrorized an entire city by making a sea god swallow it whole is the same guy who participates in operas, loved by the people in a way, a family guy, and goes along with kids' silly antics as he hunts down fictional monsters in inazuma???

i just. like him a normal amount LOL and this is just the surface because i don't want to write more than i already have LOL

Oh boy, all the characters!!

3. What are your plans for -character-?

Ok, if I forget a character, ask about them in another ask.

I will just say that I keep most of every character that mysteriously disappeared - so Braco, Napo and Luca stay (and in s3, Lara stays). However, I don't really have big "plans" for them on their own, Braco and Napo will be used to react to stuff they witness people do, Luca will be useful for the Italy plot and Lara is gonna be needed for a thing in S3.

Violetta - Well, I am sticking her story as closely to canon as possible, but due to how the other characters have changed, she will change too. She'll also be exploring her identity in ways that the show didn't really allow her to. We've seen this already in my season 1 rewrite, but I will continue on that track for s2 and s3. Also, she will dress up as Roxy due to another reason than to spy on Leon. Actually, I will fix her in season 3. I can fix her <3

Leon - I'd say probably as close to canon as possible, if I am being honest. He's gonna have a better break up with Lara when that comes. Also gonna let him have a better storyline in S3. With Leon, i'm also making some plans for Leonetta - I love them, but they also need some polishing and I am gonna give them that. I've already started with it, as you've seen.

Francesca - My little blorbo girl!! If you've read my s1 rewrite, you'll see I have some PLANS for my favorite child, who's also my friend and also my wife (I grew up with her, it's weird, I used to be younger than her now I am almost older than her). Ok, so dating wise, for the most part, she's gonna have the same dudes, but I will change a few things with that too... but as her own little storyline goes, well, she's gonna be exploring her identity a lot too. That's all I can say without spoiling, but if you know me, you know :-)

Diego - So, I can at best describe him as "a cooler version of Ramiro from SL". There is one thing Diego does that I have changed - basically, he's no longer gonna be the worlds biggest douchebag for those 3 episodes. He's a bit too confident for his own good, which is gonna lead to comedy and also to him getting into some accidentally flirty situations with people he did not intend.

Ludmila - Ah, Ludmila... i'm giving her some depth already before s3, as you might've noticed already... but she's also gonna be her big clown self as usual <33 But in season 3, I will DEFINITELY have some fun with her, I'll say that much. I'll also have a lot of fun of where i'm taking her story in season 2 rn.

Maxi - For the most part, he will be a supporting character, but I will try to give him some screen time cause the boy really NEEDS it you know, he's great! Right now, he's gonna have something with another character I really think canon dropped.

Camila - Her in s2 canon exploring what she likes and who she likes? Yeah, I am definitely taking that and doing some stuff with it. Camila's storyline will be very fun to explore. I'm already exploring her storyline with it sometimes taking place at her house and us getting to know her family, and there will be more. Just you wait.

Broduey - It's a little sad cause I WANT to give him some more, though right now I don't have as much plans for him. I am actually bad with the boys in general unless it's Leon and Diego. But with the band storyline coming up, Broduey is gonna have his own things there

Naty - My little Natalia <3 She's gonna have some stuff doing on with other characters, but also have a thing that's hers. She starts off as giving other characters great advice, but doesn't realize it. "Why would anyone care what little me says". By the compliments and boost from others, she's gonna shine <3 Also I have a fun love triangle coming up for her and two other people who both wants to date her and she sort of short circuits and starts dating both

Andres - Like Broduey and Maxi, I sadly don't have much plans, but I want to give him some of his own scenes to shine cause he deserves it.

Angie - The cool aunt with all the life experience. She's the one I am gonna change the most. I already changed by letting her tell Vilu right away. I am gonna give Angie some JUSTICE, I tell you.

Germán - Ugh I don't wanna talk about him. He's still gonna do some horrible stuff because he has to for the plot, but I am getting mad just thinking about what I have to write him doing

Severance is an awesome science fiction/thriller show on Apple TV+ that just finished it's first season and I'm totally obsessed with it!! The premise is pretty much about a company called Lumon and it's employees (specifically the four, five -- miss you Petey!! employees working in Macrodata Refinement) who have undergone a procedure called severance, which severs your personal life and memories from you work-self, so essentially they are split into two people -- their personal selves with their families, friends, hobbies, etc. ("outies")and their "work" selves -- essentially brand new entities that only exist during work hours and hardly have any life experiences, memories, etc. ("innies") and the ethical complexities of that and the mystery of who they are outside of their job and even what they do ??!?!?! (I didn't want to spoil to much so even this synopsis is a little vague lmao)

Also HOT TAKES!! Umm ... I don't really like Helly/Mark (main girl and main guy protags) as a ship and I do not want them together in a romantic capacity -- I know it's kinda divided rn in the small fandom but I just don't see it especially given the current circumstances of the situtation (Mark's innie being about only two years old, Helly's even less, plus a huge twist that I will try not to spoil in case you start watching, etc.) also, I actually don't mind Burt having a husband (this might be spoilery but idk how to bring it up w/o spoilers kinda lol) I know a good portion of the fandom got a bit heartbroken at the reveal but it makes sense to me kinda since we didn't know anything about the lives outside of work ??? Idk I see it as the relationships outside of work vs inside of work would be different since the innies both a) only have a few years (tops) of life experience and b) are only exposed to a limited amount of things in comparison to their outer identities ??? So I wasn't surprised or anything lol ALSO ALSO MR. MILCHICK <3 <3 <3 (idc that he represents almost everything wrong with capitalist corporate culture, he's my blorbo !!!)
