sometimes I think too hard about like. how the ability to record audio fundamentally changed how humans interact with music. can you imagine if the only time you ever heard music in your whole life was when you or another human being in your actual physical presence decided to create it. and 99.99% of the time that person was not a professional but just like your wife or your dad or your co-worker or church choir singing or playing whatever they happened to know. i honestly don't think we can fathom it

Batman has a lot of children and (perhaps) an adoption problem.

This does not make him the first choice, or even qualified, to take in a 14-year-old meta that may or not be more powerful than Superman.

Instead, when a bleeding, broken, Danny Fenton shows up in the middle of the Watchtower he is sent to Smallville, Kansas to be fostered by none other than Ma and Pa Kent.

Martha and Jonathan are the poster parents for people raising metas and their kindness is just what Danny needs in a strange new world.

It works out in a way that most things don't usually for Danny, though he ends up getting tied up with the Bats anyway.

After all, every Bat needs a Super.

Raph is getting hungry very easily, especially at night. Because of his big hands he couldn't enter a pin code, so he didn't find a decision better than stealing Don's fridge and trying to open it in the more safe place.

Chuuya has so much angst potential.

I genuily don't know why people ignore that.

They opt for Dazai angst instead.

Which is not bad, but Chuuya has way more complex angst than Dazai, whose problems come from HIMSELF.

Chuuya ends up being like Dazai, but he is like that because life hasn't been kind to him.

I think he is one of the most complex characters and I can understand Dazai's admiration and obsession.

He hides himself behind a mask, barely showing how he feels.

So seeing him break is so satisfying, yet quite painful.

Dazai showed who he is through Oda, Chuuya and other characters, but Chuuya is like a man trapped inside a soldier.

It makes me so sad.

I love skk because of this.

Dazai makes Chuuya be more free.

He can bicker with him, because he wants too, not because he has to.

So even though Chuuya "hates" Dazai, that hatred ends the moment he begins the think the reasons of this hatred.

He is fascinating.

The hero with a fate he cannot scape, but it doesn't define who he is and his character.

It's there, but Chuuya opts for ignorance.

"I don't do what I want, I do what it has to be done."
