what got me feeling insane about this scene was that the Like Dove was introduced as an anomaly that indicated there were budding romantic feelings involved or a if just a simple connection of some sort has developed regardless of its nature (ex. kaito in ep 1, sho in ep 2, and towa in ep 3).

upon its appearance, taiga was clearly out of it, as if he didn't like what he was seeing yet he was resisting the urge to consume the dove. it got him so agitated he just shouted for romeo to just shoot it outta his sight. whereas prior to this scene, his crazy ass didn't hesitate to kidnap poor ol little peekaboo just to satisfy a hunger pang lmao

i know there's a bunch of different ways to interpret this scene but i think the tension was just so palpable when taiga finally got the MC cornered in his room that it was hard not to go crazy thinking about his conflicting feelings towards the MC. he isn't sure if he can trust her, yet he constantly tries to implore answers from her like she could possibly help him. he does this in ep 4 and if you chose to save taiga during the prologue, he does his usual crazy laugh but then comes to ask the MC solemnly "tell me something, would you? what could i have done different to change this outcome?". there must be something about the MC (apart from the fact she's the token protag of the game lol) that makes him think she can provide the answers, or at the very least, the words he needs but i digress

should that not be the case, the fact that he would offer her a way out of whatever mystery shtstorm is going on in darkwick is still equally interesting to me. he clearly wasn't toying with her when he said there was a traitor in their midst and the sooner she finds that out the more prepared she'll be for what's to come.

i felt like him shooting the like dove in torture chamber for the MC to see was rly symbolic of him basically just accepting he can no longer give a fck and this messed up sht is what the MC will continue to be forced into. he shot the bird dead and consumed it like he probably did other anomalies leaving him in a sour mood in the end.

aaaahh im srsly rambling at this point skdhdkd i have way too much to say but i think pls ignore me i just got into tokyo debunker and finished ep 4 a few days ago so this post just activated my brain again

Interesting interesting... I was not expecting it to show up so early. And is it just me or does Taiga seem extremely stressed out and afraid of the Like Dove's appearance σ(￣、￣=)
