i promise im gonna be nicer to se0, i just think the second arc is kind of a significant downgrade from the shelter cave stuff sorryyyy
#i do need to talk up shelter cave. shelter cave is good!! i like it a lot!!!#echoed voice#dark past#also the decision to have you play as duskull is inspired and good. feel like most ppl wouldve opted to make treecko the playable one#but it being duskull is really good. esp bc hes the newcomer so we learn everything through him#really i think my biggest issues rn are 1) the gameplay (which has gotten kinda better as dusclops but still has issues)#2) the dialogue being wayyyyyyy too long for its own good (i love lore dumping as much as the next but this game does not need five full tex#text boxes to say ‘’treecko wants to evolve’’#3) the dusclops manipulation thing reallyyyyyy isnt my thing sorry….#but im playing through the whole thing and im actually gonna do the postgame stuff too so we’ll see#i am still open to having my mind changed on the story#also im playing it with eve now so posting will be slower btw#like ig duskull being manipulated isnt an incorrect way to read his character. but idrc for this being the new soft fanon reason…..
