I just think it's crazy that I haven't really seen any good Soap/Reader/Gaz fics. Now that's thee dynamic.

SoapGaz is an inherently pure relationship, even if it's overshadowed by jealousy or annoyance. They KNOW each other inside and out. They have a type of love, a type of bond that no one else connected to the 141 can really afford to express without getting into trouble. They share the same rank, duties, gear, and its expected that they share accommodations. They're never apart even when they might want to be. And their sex life is always initiated out of a sense of security and desperation. They have high sex drives and could get anyone they want, but why bother when they have each other at arms length?

Now, imagine being the third person, the third sergeant forced into their dynamic. You're plucky and resourceful and sniff out their connection from the get go. You're respectful, give them their space, and make it clear that you're no snitch. So, it's no wonder why they include you in on their activities. It's harmless at first - bar hopping, checking out new arcades and movies. The three of you fall into a rhythm and into each other. You start waking up in the same bed and sharing all of your free time together. It's quite the natural progression.

So when you catch them both in the shower one morning - and they ask you to join - you don't hesitate to say yes.

(Price and Ghost turn a blind eye to their sergeants' misbehavior. They doesn't have to police you anymore, as the three of you keep each other in check.)

as a former frat rat and ex-sorority girly, these are my thoughts if the core four were in a fraternity

price

president of the fraternity. when there are parties, he's primarily upstairs with his s/o with the door locked since he doesn't care much for them. they'll make an appearance sometimes and play a few games here and there. has an absolute charm with officers that the other guys do not have when parties get a visit from them due to noise complaints, etc. when the fraternity is called into conduct meetings for parties, price easily talks their way out of suspension with the director of greek and director of student conduct. when him and his s/o breakup, goes on how he's gonna try and be single for a bit, but ends up in another serious relationship a month later.

definition of "who do you know here". before the new members are recruited, he's standing at the door managing control of how many people are inside the house and who is in the house. new members are easily scared of him from his size alone, and while he does come off less welcoming, when the new members are hungover or whatever it may be, he's the big brother figure there to help out and take care of them when needed. has no problem dragging people out of the parties as well if someone is making anyone uncomfortable. and when it comes to flirting with people at the parties or anywhere, he's quite bad at it. definitely shy on that front and a bit of a dork, but no one expects it.

soap

"new member educator" aka pledge master. understands there is a negative connotation associated with his position. so, when it comes to initiation tasks, tries to keep them more on the side of humorous instead of harmful. consists of partnering with sororities on campuses to help them with their big/little process - sending his new members to serenade the sororities new members in public. makes one member roll around a dinosaur backpack clearly meant for a child. during the times he's free and on campus, you'll find him at the frats designated table in the student center/cafeteria talking and laughing with other members. definitely gets 'class clown' awards year after year at the fraternity formal.

vice president of the fraternity. shares the same charm as price when it comes to handling campus authority and as well as their consultants for the fraternity. but unlike price, he's single and his charm extends towards everyone since he isn't tied down. the hat comes in handy sometimes when he wears it because girls love pulling it off his head as tactic to try and talk to him, which he caves into because it's why he'll wear it in the first place. sociable and gets along with everyone on campus - out of all of them he's the one that is least intimidating to have a class with. he'll sit next to you and joke around if the teacher is a pain, and even if they aren't, no one expects the frat boy to be a smarty pants - he's your go-to study partner after you build a friendship.

Pool Party with them!

* Slight Price x reader, includes some alerudy and slight ghostsoap if you read between the lines and just imagine they are all off duty atm*

You and John are hosting the pool party because your guys house has a 7ft pool and it was a hot summer, so what not better to do than have a pool party!

Everyone was there too, Farah and Alex where hanging by the grill, Alex was cooking somewhat to show off to Farah his cooking skills and he also just enjoyed it, they each had a beer in their hand as well, occasionally John would go and make sure Alex wasn't burning anythingor getting distracted.

Simon was hanging by the edge of the pool with his legs in the water also with a beer that Johnny would take sips out of whenever he would swim to Ghost. Johnny whenever he wasn't by Simon though would be cannonballing into the pool with Alejandro or Kyle, him and Kyle especially tried to make big splashes and make each other laugh.

Alejandro and Rudy were babysitting a niece of Alejandros so she was brought along too, everyone adored her and did their best to make her feel welcomed, from Alejandro throwing her in the pool to laswell letting her braid her hair whenever she needed a break from swimming. Rudy was drinking a beer and Alejandro told him not to get to drunk... (I head canon Rudy to be like a fun kinda wild drunk) to which Rudy pushed him in the pool and made everyone laugh, even Alejandro.

Laswell sun bathed most of the time, or would talk to whoever was at the grill at the time. Konig and Horangi were swimming in there own little area, occasionally going over and talking to Simon and Johnny, Johnny tried to get on Konigs shoulders but he would lose balance and make them both go underwater.

Price stayed around the edge of the pool with a beer and just relaxed, sometimes getting splashed by Johnny or Kyle's cannonballs. You would just walk around and see how everyone was doing, a few cannonballs with Soap here and there but you always made your way back to Price to take a drink of his drink and swim around with him, he would grab at your hip or waist underwater at times just to be cheeky and then look at you like he did nothing. Eventually Graves arrived even though he wasn't invited, but he added his own little...charm to the party, just kinda going around antagonizing everyone slightly but he still made everyone laugh at times.

Alejandro had gotten a little bit to drunk and started to dance with Rudy and when he thought Rudy was off his guard he dragged Rudy into the pool with him, safe to say Rudy did not expect it.

Eventually everyone started to get tired and calmed down, everyone was out of the pool and sitting down eating dinner, Rudy had Alejandros niece on his lap almost fast asleep and Alejandro on his shoulder, Rudy knew Alejandro was gonna feel hungover like hell in the morning so he took them both home early after saying his goodbyes to everyone. Next to leave was Konig and Horangi, they thanked you and Price and then left. Alex and Farah cleaned up the grilling area and gossiped with you and Price for awhile before leaving after dark with Laswell and Graves. So the rest that remained are you, Price, Johnny and Simon and Gaz. You all just went back to Yours and Prices apartment and stayed in the living room talking and jut bullshitting mostly before soap passed out on ghost and Gaz fell asleep on one of the recliners. Ghost fell asleep with and arm around Johnny and you and Price just decided to leave them there and head to bed, the party was a success and you were both tired.
