MODERN AU! 🌟

It is yet another interesting convo I had with my darling @/RealBouru, and naturally yet another monster we’ve conceived together! More details below v

Behold the Marjorie Ford modern AU, in which the Marigold Gang is turned into a gang of bikers! Because the prohibition ain’t upheld anymore in the present, so rumrunning can’t be the main business, but since the criminal part of the story is so damn central I just couldn’t erase it: so, after ruminating about the Savoys’ and Marjorie’s reckless, daredevil and adrenaline junkie nature I came up with the idea of a business of illegal motorcycle races, organised and managed by Asa Sweet. They’d still be hired killers, charged with eliminating their own competitors before they even have the chance to become such. I’m currently mulling whether to keep Marjorie’s past as a ballerina as it is or turn her into an ex tik-toker, or influencer, or that sort of thing, her empire fallen because of web drama or even a juridical scandal or something, rather than the war. I will certainly draw more stuff of this and post it soon, I’m already having a brainrot on it, let me know if you like it too!~ 💞

His Edward and my Marjorie as Hercules and Megara from… well, “Hercules” from Disney! Art based on that lovely sketch @realbouru posted some days ago about Edward sketched as Hercules, I got inspired to dare trying to draw him myself! Hope I’m not stepping out of line lol

Besides some days ago you also posted something about feeling a bit off these days so I wanted to try something to draw a smile out of you, hope I’ve succeeded🩷

I know these days I’ve been giving you a shitload of notifications, I swear now I’ll stop bothering you😅

I don’t draw men often and it shows, hope Edward didn’t come out too weird or disproportioned— I don’t know how tall he is but I supposed he was around Viktor’s or Nico’s height , and knowing Marjorie is slightly shorter than Mitzi hence standing at 5’1 I based on that.

RECTIFICATION: I noticed I had messes up the dates and historical facts a bit in a moment of distraction, but now I fixed it and it’s all as it should be!

AYE this took me an unusually long time to complete, hope it isn’t too pesky to the eye with those vibrant colours typical of my chaotic art. Ft. a younger Marjorie a couple months before the impeding start of WW1 and subsequent fall of her career, blissfully unaware. I didn’t use any reference in particular besides general pictures of Vera Fokina to design Marjorie’s costume, so it is likely to be very inaccurate, but… I like it.

ALSO featuring my darling friend @realbouru, who gets the credit for the background I was far too inept to create myself! I already thanked you but I will do so again and it will never be enough 💓!
