Others are ongoing. Some may be, if they haven't yet, potentially, refiled or retried. In some cases, you can do that. It's not double-jeopardy in some cases. It depends but you can sometimes do this depending on the details. A federal case for example could be then tried on the state level. That is not double jeopardy. You can pressure your local counties to call for ballot audits today. Join the revolution.

If you're not living in this state, you should either go there or encourage your state to call up North Dakota. However, never underestimate the power of the county sheriff which trumps over them. You should make friends with your local sheriffs and talk to them about the rule of law regarding what you have to do in your county, legally speaking. Don't go against the sheriffs. Stores are not legally allowed to discriminate or disrupt commerce which comes from even the customers who refuses to wear masks. Stores can say it's private property. However, because the stores are open to the public, thanks to the 4th amendment, thanks to other things as well, prohibiting customers is discrimination among other things as well. The maskless buyer is not trespassing if he or she is not disrupting commerce. Moreover, when you prohibit customers from stores, then you are engaging in the disruption of commerce which may be illegal among other things as well partly because the customers are part of the free market exchange system which we call commerce. Stopping customers means you are disrupting commerce. That is illegal. You should go to jail for disrupting commerce. It may be many different things, not just that. Stores and states must be held accountable for violating laws. Stores are public. They cannot enforce masks. Churches however are legally considered to be private and can enforce masks.

During the week 15 – 19 February, the preparatory work for WRC-23 agenda item 9.1b continued in ITU‑R Working Party 4C (WP4C). The WRC agenda item has initiated technical studies on coexistence between the radio navigation satellite service (RNSS) and the amateur services in the 23cm band. As usual, the IARU participated in the meeting and delivered key information on amateur activities in this important microwave band. This information is vital to ensure the amateur services are realistically represented in the studies as they move forward.

It remains vital that national amateur communities present their views on the importance of this band to their national regulators in a consolidated and consistent manner.

To assist with this the IARU-R1 is developing supporting material that member societies can refer to when addressing the topic with their national regulator.

The work on this topic will continue throughout the year and beyond both in ITU‑R and in the regional telecommunications organisations and the IARU is committed to ensure every organisation understands the amateur position on this important microwave band.

ARRL CEO David Minster, NA2AA, will keynote the QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo March 13 – 14 weekend. Minster’s talk — part of an 80+ speaker lineup — will begin at 2000 UTC (3 PM EST) on March 13. His appearance will highlight ARRL’s featured role at the Expo, which also will include “Ask The ARRL Lab.” ARRL is a QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo Partner.

Minster, who assumed the ARRL Headquarters leadership position last September, has launched major projects and assembled teams to foster innovation and individual skill development in radio technology and communications. In his keynote, Minster will share his enthusiasm for advancing amateur radio and highlight current ARRL initiatives to engage and inspire the current generation of hams. His presentation topics will include:

ARRL’s digital transformation, which promises to bring new value to ARRL members. An all-in digital approach will improve the way members access and engage with content, programs, and systems.

The ARRL Learning Center, a hub for members to discover the many facets of amateur radio and develop practical knowledge and skills.

Increasing video content, opening opportunities for amateur radio content creators and member-volunteers to learn, stay informed, and keep connected.

Improving training and tools to engage radio clubs, emergency communication volunteers, and students.

The ARRL Expo booth will feature “Ask the ARRL Lab,” where Lab staffers will answer questions live. Attendees can come into the booth lounge (featuring the Expo’s latest virtual meet-up and video technology), sit down at a virtual table, and ask ARRL Lab technical wizards for tips about projects or suggestions to address various station installations and problems. Attendees can also learn about Product Review equipment testing by the Lab, see a presentation on how the Lab can help hams with RFI problems, and tour W1AW — the Hiram Percy Maxim Memorial Station — virtually. ARRL booth staff will also point attendees to helpful resources from across membership benefits, services, and programs.

Representing the ARRL Lab will be Lab Manager Ed Hare, W1RFI; Test Engineer Bob Allison, WB1GCM; Senior Laboratory Engineer Zack Lau, W1VT; RFI Engineer Paul Cianciolo, W1VLF, and W1AW Station Manager Joe Carcia, NJ1Q. Between all of them, they have over 100 years of experience at ARRL Headquarters,

QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo Chairman Eric Guth, 4Z1UG, also announced four live group kit-building workshops. Workshop instructors will guide participants through building a variety of kits, which will be available for purchase and delivered prior to the Expo so attendees can build them at home. Attendees unable to participate during the live sessions can order and build kits by watching the workshop videos during the on-demand period that follows the Expo through April 12.

Workshop kits prices range from $15 to $30. Early-bird discount tickets and links to purchase kits can be found at the QSO Today Expo website. These workshops will include:

Building the NS-40 QRP Transmitter, a 14-component, 5 W transmitter for 7.030 MHz (with instructors David Cripe, NM0S, and Virginia Smith, NV5F).

The Learn-to-Solder Workshop will introduce the basic tools and techniques of building electronic kits. Participants will build a 20-meter transmitter kit (with instructors Rex Harper, W1REX, and Stephen Houser, N1SH).

Building the Cric-Key, a simple CW keyer with paddle, suitable for home and field use (with instructor Joe Eisenberg, K0NEB).

The Mini-Sudden Receiver, a pocket-and-mint-tin friendly direct-conversion 20-meter receiver (with instructors Rex Harper, W1REX, and Stephen Houser, N1SH).

Delhi reports 32 dengue cases in June, 143 so far this year

Jul 05, 2022 09:30 IST New Delhi , July 5 (AF): As many as 32 cases of dengue were in the national capital in the month of June, taking this year's tally to 143, according to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) data released on Monday. The national capital reported nine new cases in a week as till June 27 Delhi had reported 134 dengue cases. Delhi recorded 23 dengue cases in January, 16 in February, 22 in March, 20 in April and 30 in May, and 32 cases of dengue were reported in June 27, the MCD reported. According to the report released by the Anti Malaria Operations (HQ), no new cases of dengue have been reported this month till July 2. However, zero death has been reported so far in the national capital due to the disease. Last year, 36 cases of dengue were reported in Delhi between January 1 and July 2. As per the report, the dengue cases in the month of June were 20 in 2020, 26 in 2019, 33 in 2018 and 60 in 2017. Last year, 9,613 dengue cases were recorded in the national capital, which was the highest number in the last five years. Further, 4,431 cases were reported in 2016 and 4,726 cases in 2017, while in 2018 the cases sharply dropped to 2,798 cases and 2,036 cases were registered in 2019. In 2020, the infections dropped nearly by 50 per cent as a total of 1,072 infections were reported last year, the lowest in the period ranging from 2016-2021. Meanwhile, last year, 23 deaths were reported in the city, which was the highest since 2016. In 2017 and 2016, a total of 10 people had died in the city. In the years that followed, four, two and one death was reported in 2018, 2019 and 2020, respectively. The Greenville Swamp Rabbits concluded a three-game homestand against the Wheeling Nailers by dropping a 4-2 decision on Sunday. Garrett Thompson erased a 1-0 deficit with a power play goal at 5:16 of the second period, but strikes from Cody Sylvester and Tim Doherty provided Wheeling a 3-1 advantage after 40 minutes. Liam Pecararo tallied in his 100th professional game at 13:46 of the third period to pull the Rabbits within 4-2. Also, on Sunday, the South Carolina Stingrays fired 44 shots on goal but fell by a 3-1 margin against the Orlando Solar Bears. Dylan Steman scored his club’s only goal 59 seconds into the third stanza. Jake Kupsky turned aside 36 of 38 Solar Bear shots, including 23 of 25 in the first period.

WIN AND WE’RE IN

The Swamp Rabbits can clinch the 2021 Kelly Cup Playoffs with a victory tonight in either regulation, overtime, or a shootout versus South Carolina. A playoff berth would mark Greenville’s first trip to the postseason since 2017 when the Rabbits fell in six games (4-2) against the Stingrays in the South Division Semifinals. Greenville’s first-round opponent would be the Indy Fuel in a best-of-five Eastern Conference semifinals series if the season ended today.

SEASON SERIES RECAP

Greenville enters the season-series finale with a commanding 9-2-1-2 record against their in-state foe. Last season, the Swamp Rabbits only won twice in eight tries against South Carolina. Eight of 14 games have required overtime in the current series, and three progressed to a shootout. Max Zimmer, Matt Bradley, and Liam Pecararo have punished the Stingrays with nine points in the head-to-head. Ben Finkelstein has two overtime game-winning goals at the North Charleston Coliseum.

WHAT’S ON TAP?

The Greenville Swamp Rabbits will conclude the 2020-21 regular season with six games across the next 10 days. After tonight, Greenville will complete the home portion of their schedule with one final homestand from May 28-30. The Rabbits will welcome the Jacksonville Icemen to Bon Secours Wellness Arena for a back-to-back set on Friday and Saturday before closing the weekend versus Wheeling on Sunday. Greenville will conclude the season with two games on the road against the Florida Everblades on June 2 and June 4.

THE MONTH OF WINNING

Playing their best stretch of hockey this season, the Swamp Rabbits have been a dominant force in May. Entering tonight, Greenville’s May record is 9-2-1-0, including a 6-1-0-0 mark away from the Upstate. Earlier this month, the Rabbits saw a season-best six-game winning streak and an additional six-game road winning streak.
