yeah to everything about serafinexmordecai, ive said that stuff before somewhere so im not gonna say it twice lol ((i saw mordecaixzulie art and asks years ago its an extremely rarepair because it sucks and shes serafines gf)) im just more of the idea that both savoys are in it to mess with mordecai since theres a lot of suspicion towards him and why he joined marigold (from the characters povs. we know why he did what he did.) so when i see shipping him with either savoy im not really into it? theyve both done nothing but embarrass and hurt him. and bringing up the kneecapping, i do believe mordecai shot viktor himself. but the reasons for the kneecapping and the reasons for the carving are completely different. one was driven by 'i was trying to convince him to retire' which can be read as 'i didnt want to have to be forced to kill him so maiming him is better even if he hates me forever', while the other was 'youve made this bed now were going to force you to lay in something worse'

so heres my thing abt rarepairs and how shippings gotten, i dont really care what people do its not my life and its not wrong. i just personally dont tend to ship random characters based off aesthetic or potential dynamics. like if theres a pairing between two characters that have never met (for example like......i dunno uh. ninaxelsa <==making shit up rn) that i dont get, im not gonna go hunt people down who do like it and yell at them. thats just mean and doesnt accomplish anything other than hurting someones feelings :(

in regards to popular pairings that i dont get (like hellerby.) i will make it known that i dont like the ship and i will give my personal reasons for not liking the ship, and while doing that im also going to block the tag so i dont have to see something i dont particularly like. tumblr is self curated after all ((ive had the megstiel tag blocked for 6 years for a reason)) its useless to target people and yell at them for a ship as that accomplishes nothing, its best to just block stuff you know will upset you and move on. but like dont even get me STARTED on how much i dislike hellerby cus its a mix of 'i dont get why people like this dynamic' 'this ship is founded off two side comics' (that dont even hold water because mordecai was completely disgusted by rockys pancake sleeves and also please dont spike peoples tea with your drugs) and 'aww theyre so prettyyyyy and theyre my faaaaavs.' obvs its all my own opinions on the ship and how people interact with the rest of lackadaisy that make me dislike it, but still ive gone on tons of rants to my friends about how people responded to the pilot and backerkit regarding the ship. (the plushies arent hellerby people its because rockys the mc and mordecais super popular. they need to fund the show somehow ffs)
