BOOKS I READ IN 2022 → Carrie Soto Is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid
“I am afraid of losing. I am afraid of how it will look to the world. I’m afraid of this match being the last match my father ever sees me play. I am afraid of ending this all on a loss. I am afraid of so much.”

I Read
Hey Guys ! This is Iga . I am basically going to write about my journey of reading . I just got into reading but i was not able to keep up with it everyday so I thought why not to blog about what i read. I am new to tumblr and i don’t know much about it but slowly i will learn . And I found tumblr easiest to blog. Since this is my first post i was bit nervous but without thinking much I started it right away . So here we go .
(I really wanted to insert a gif but couldn’t find appropriate one :( ...so imagine a gif here )
So let’s start !! I wanted to get into reading since last year because every motivational video I use to see on Youtube or some celebrities I follow , the common thing was reading . I use to get random suggestion on my insta feed about books like the books you should read before you die or the best books to read etc. I found few common books in every post. And on a random day I bought them . A week went by and i didn’t even touch those books . My dad asked me whether I was reading those books or not and I was not. I thought let’s start it tomorrow itself . I was fully motivated. I knew these people who say they read a whole book in one sitting. I was like I can atleast read half of it . And the next day came , I took the book and sat down and started reading . And I was tired after reading a single page.
Again few days went by and new year came and I decided to set reading as my new year resolution. And now I decided to go with my own pace. I decided to read couple of pages each day . And I have already read two chapters . I am happy with my pace and will try to improve it. Everyday I try to read one extra page.
So if you are someone who is procrastinating to read or to do something else.. this is your sign....start it with your own pace and hope we all will reach our goals one day.
That’s all for this post...I don’t know if this post will reach out to anyone..but if it does and if you are reading I am really grateful.. I will try to make my posts more interesting .
From next post , I will review and tell my experience with the book I am reading.
Thank You!!
BTW , The book I am reading is IKIGAI :)

“Greatness takes time, Banu Nahida. Often the mightiest things have the humblest beginnings.” ― S.A. Chakraborty, The City of Brass The City of Brass by S. A. Chakraborty is a fantasy book with elements of historical fiction and it is the first book in The Daevabad Trilogy. The book was published in 2017. I had The City of Brass in my shelves since when it was published and I finally managed to read it. I loved it and I regretted not having done that earlier. First of all, I love the story and the writing style . S.A. Chakraborty describes everything perfectly. My favourite thing of all though, is the world and the world - building that she does. The story is told through two POVs, Nahri and Ali and they might start in completely different places but then they converge. My favourite scenes were those where Dara was present. I loved everything about him. There is a lot of political intrigue that adds to the overall story and setting. And of course the magic of the djinn and how it differs between the many tribes is incredible. And I don't have to mention the ending of the book. Tomorrow I am starting book 2, The Kingdom of Copper and I highly recommend that you start reading this trilogy asap. Rating: 5 Stars *** Check out my post on my blog Book Notes by Athina for more information. *** #review #TheCityOfBrass #TheDaevabadTrilogy #SAChakraborty #readin2022 #favouritebook #DaevabadTrilogyReadakong #booklove #readingisfundamental #bookstagrammers #readingcommunity #bookstagrammer #bookishlife #bookobsessed #readersofinsta #bookstagramit #bookrecommendations #greekbookstagram #instavivlio #vivlio #diavazo #eucitesc #mybookfeatures #booknotes_athina #ipreview via @preview.app (at Bucharest, Romania) https://www.instagram.com/p/CZEfuI1pFjm/?utm_medium=tumblr

BOOKS I READ IN 2022 → Book Lovers by Emily Henry
“That’s life. You’re always making decisions, taking paths that lead you away from the rest before you can see where they end. Maybe that’s why we as a species love stories so much. All those chances for do-overs, opportunities to live the lives we’ll never have.”

BOOKS I READ IN 2022 → Ariadne by Jennifer Saint
“The gods do not know love, because they cannot imagine an end to anything they enjoy. Their passions do not burn brightly as a mortal’s passions do, because they can have whatever they desire for the rest of eternity. How could they cherish or treasure anything? Nothing to them is more than a passing amusement, and when they have done with it, there will be another”
