anyway, I think people who love Kabru/care abt him/enjoy his character should also care about Kabru's party. Think abt his relationships with Kuro, Mickbell, Holm, Daya, Rin (especially Rin. lol) and like as a leader of the group. like if you stan Kabru but dont gaf abt his party dynamics ... I think. you should uhm... care <3 at least a lil bit <3 (a lot of supplementary material is in world guide or like daydream hour comic extras but like . i think . they're required reading for dunmeshi fans anyway)

oh good question! in general my fav anime are angel beats, chainsaw man (not much has happened yet but it's my fav manga so i have to mention it), jujutsu kaisen, madoka magica, the disastrous life of saiki k and zombie land saga! i recall also loving mob psycho 100, death note and s1 of the promised neverland but it's been ages since i watched those.

my fav anime this season and also one of my new fav anime overall is frieren: beyond journey's end! i'm also enjoying dungeon meshi (and the f/f fanart) so much that i'm gonna read the manga when this season ends!

ok finished dungeon meshi s1, really liked it! was wondering with how high the stakes were getting and how intricate the lore is is if the cooking part of the series was gonna just be for the humor and emotional char stuff and then went :O when they came up with that crazy ass plan at the end bruh, crazy masterful how that was woven in lmfao

was debating if i should read the manga or wait for s2 but decided to wait for s2, well wait until i accidentally stumble on a manga spoiler and it intrigues me enough to say fuck it and read, has happened b4

hi! hello! i haven’t figured what i want online people to call me so pricker for now will do. call me pricker.

i figured ive been here long enough to have amassed quite a collection of posts and they are admittedly all over the place. so i decided id pin a list of fandom and tags that i regularly reblog and post stuff for. also as a way to hold myself accountable for all the interests ive started and dropped halfway through lol. for all i like to say i draw or i write about fandom, i find myself doing none of those things.

so! in no particular order other than my stream of consciousness, here's a list of shenaniganry on the blog so far:

percy jackson and the olympians: read the whole damn thing at age 12 and was never the same! expect the occasion headcanon or rave about the musical.

danny phantom: love for this show started from the theme song and only spiralled (downwards) from there. some art and headcanons here and there, with the occasional event!

the chronicles of narnia: i learned what magic was when i discovered these books in the back of the classroom library, honest. i mostly rave about fics and post the occasional doodle.

over the garden wall: this pops up at least once a year, and you'll know it's nearing september when it does. my favourite thing cartoon network has ever (very bafflingly??) aired since gumball, and the soudntrack is how i get through winter. mostly art.

hadestown: i am delusional for a west end cast recording to complete the current trilogy of hadestown albums i have, and seeing it live has only further cemented it to possibly my favourite work of art ever created. mostly reblogs of poetic musings and analyses.

shakespeare-posting: i've been trying to consume more shakespeare so they'll crop up depending on the play i'm working my way through! i'm also collecting globe productions like pokemon so hopefully there's more thoughts to come.

lord of the rings/hobbit: i may have basic straight man taste in movies (the original trilogy, not the hobbit), but i am too enthralled by fan reinterpretations of the story to not admit i like them. also the hobbit shaped my expectations by fantasy ok

spy x family: my first manga that i will forever tout to have begun reading before the anime blew up. illustration reblogs and updates as i make my way through the manga!

dungeon meshi: likely the most recent addition to this post, and i am very much enjoying the anime as it's airing. illustrations and headcanons!

fullmetal alchemist: a lot of brotherhood and illustrations, though i'm planning on reading the manga soon.

good omens: both book and show tickled me immensely, and i am very excited for s3 - it's taken over my pinterest. i also post a lot about gaiman's work and a goal over the summer is to read more of his and start on pratchett's!

the owl house: i was posting pretty fervently when it aired! not much so now, but if terrace and the crew ever release comics like gravity falls or amphibia did there will be a tag RENAISSANCE. speaking of..

gravity falls: there was a phase. and look, i'm still not entirely out of it — dipper and mabel are still my go-to characters for warm-up doodles.

les miserables (musical): genuinely there was a three-month period in my life where i could not listen to anything other than a les mis soundtrack. i could probably recognise any major actor post 10th-anniversary performing the role by their voice alone.

ducktales 2017 (dt17): you cannot possibly convince me this reboot began airing seven years ago. i will never stop raving about its artistic direction and inspirations, not to mention its STACKED cast.

harry potter: ah, my first fandom. where it all started. i post the occasional headcanon and rant but that's it.

pirates of the caribbean: i do enough rewatches of the first three films to warrant a spot on this list.

our flag means death: while i loved s1 and didn't much care for s2, art reblogs pop up here and there.

i have a horrible memory so i love making lists like this to remind myself of the things i enjoy.

Very high recommend tier

The adventure zone Balance & Ethersea

Both have a very high ranking because some of the scenes/monologues/whatstheword have stayed with me throughout the years. (Not all exits are made equal/Our bodies are choirs/Etc.)

Additionally have high ranking for great comedy and just. Being such a favorite podcast of mine frfr.

Largest flaw is the length. It's hard to recommend 30+ (or god forbid 60+) episode long podcasts with each ep being an hour to IRLs. Still I would barely recommend anything to IRLs so it's still on the top of the list

Balance:s story and themes are AMAZING. Etherseas worldbuilding is fucking splendid and ohstansimal and

Also ranks high to my personal attachment to the podcast. It truly helped me through some tough times

Dungeon Meshi

C'mon. Don't act like it hasn't taken over everyone's dashes at this point.

Really great comedy, and I really enjoy the anime. The manga is also amazing and the story is *cheffs kiss*. Really interesting themes.

Would recommend to some IRLs. The cool ones will watch it all the way through and the more weary ones won't get to the necromancy anyways

Their music is so good. No other notes. Go listen to the Forgetmenauts. RIGHT!!!! NAUWWWW!!!!

High recommend tier

The adventure zone: Amnesty and Graduation

Lower tier than it's siblings due to the fact neither of those sticked with me the same way.

Their still both great in their own right though and an amazing watch. Graduations chaos and order conflict will always stick with me, and so will Duck's onion soup monologue and 'Believe it or not, but.." (ok I forgot the rest but when. They talk to pidgeon. Yeah.)

Just a good horror podcast. Not a lot to say ab it

The Mechanisms

Great band with lots of interesting lore

Ranked lower than the Forgetmenauts purely because how complicated the lore can be and how it can be hard to properly get into without a guide of some sorts

Malevolent

Very fun podcast, I think it's characters and their relationships are it's strongest part.

Kinda akward to reccomend to family because all of the whimpering. Personally listen to this with headphones on when at home bc it sounds concerning our of context

Personally do not care much for the mystery and grander plot of the podcast, and is reccomend it for pretty much the characters alone

Camp here and there

Fun! Not a lot of notes here. I actually never listened to this podcast and just read the transcripts bc I didn't have the attention span

Hineslty almost ended up in the depends list but that is more personally opinion that recommendation

Solid science fiction podcast

Hatchetfield

Fun series of musicals and Webseries. Most premises are absolutely ridiculous but the implications behind them are what makes it so interesting

The lore is a tad hard to get into. Also long. 3 musicals + 2 seasons of nightmare time are truly smth.

S2 has lots of flaws and personally I did not like the ending etc etc which turn me off from recommending it. But I think I just noticed the flaws very strongly bc I'm very passionate ab jt and I want it to be better bc THE POTENTIAL IS THERE AAA

Ok but genuinely even for it's flaws the themes of this podcast are really interesting, and all the characters are very charming and interesting. I love the way they develop over the course of the story.

Ranked so low purely because. All the controversy. This fandom is very hated from the outside and there is so much infighting

Also because out of all of these, catching up to the DSMP lore would be the most time consuming and difficult considering how much of it consists out of 3+ hour long streams made by 15+ creators spanning over 2-3 years and-

Story is a bit of a mess.

Still think DSMP is fun though. But I absolutely would not reccomend it. Very much 'you had to be there: expierence. Was it good? Eh. Was it awful? Eh. Was it bouncing between the two rapidly? Yeah.
