thank you anon because I'm obsessed with him!! Okay so his first and only appearance is in Booster Gold issue one million as a "hero" of the 31st century and like his bit is that he stole Booster's bit, but he does it better (get it because platinum is better than gold). But here's the thing he's actually good at the bit, he's genuinely a con man only out for fam and fortune and pretending to be a hero to do it, peter platinum is what everyone in the 20th-21st century thinks Booster is, but platinum has sold everyone on the lie he actually has the fame and fortune WILD AND CRAZY

I think my favorite thing about him is that apparently he stole directly from Rip and that they have fought before like pov: some dude who's copying your dad's cringefail era has unimaginable beef with you and you—a time traveler—don't have time for it
