25. What reading goals do you have for next year?

my reading goal for last year was just “read more :))” and i did! ive read like 15 more books this year than i did last year and i would like to keep that up in 2025. i want to keep chipping away at the sisyphean ideal of replacing 1-2 of my 10 daily hours of screentime with book time/actually systematically build reading into my daily routine/healthy habits etc.

another goal is to stop being such a bitch about new releases and read more books from the last 2-3 years. this is probably doomed bc part of the reason i never read anything new is i get all my books from used bookstores or the library so it’s harder to get hands on new stuff, and part of the reason is im mean and picky and i dont wanna bother with works that have not been vetted by 30-200 years of critical success. work in progress!
