Tiny pencil beasts be upon ye These little drawings are on average 1-2 cm tall (they live in herds on the left pages of sketchbooks, and feed on eraser dust) - i draw them to force myself to focus on the general composition of a piece before getting hooked on details. They're a great way to jot an idea down quickly to keep its spontaneity !

how do you do the risograph effect?

most of my drawings that look like risos are actual risograph prints! i've either scanned or photographed them. i sometimes do try to replicate the effect digitally, usually with a dissolve layer or noise filter (sometimes with a tiny bit of blur on top i think.. it's been a while!) in photoshop, or with these brushes in procreate.
