      i was re-watching some scenes && i came across the scene in s6 when octavia called monty a  “coward”   && it reminded me that eveline was completely enraged && upset with octavia for calling monty that because he was anything but a coward for doing what he did for them to have a life after earth didn’t come back.   he spent 30 years cracking that code ,  30 years && even when he was old he had the hope that they would do better.   octavia called monty a coward && eveline’s blood boiled under her skin ,  it was the first time eveline had ever gotten physical with octavia prior to the others beating her up.   ( which she tried to break up && got hit in the process )   so much so that she stood up ,  asked her what she’d said , && when she repeated it eveline grabbed her by the shirt && slammed her against the wall before giving her a lecture    she couldn’t look at octavia for a long time after the fact ,  && even when she could she was still upset with her for it.    (  part of it was being protective of jordan ,  but the other was just the amount of disrespect for someone who spent their life , no matter how happy it was ,  making sure you had somewhere else to live.  that you could have a life && do better when his was already over && he wouldn’t get to see it.  )
