ah, raspberry coat.......or just raspberry from now on...........it's been awhile.

I Used To Be An MLP Fan.

i was so young back then.......how old was i, 7? 8? it's been so long since then.

and it's been so long since i last drew raspberry at all.

there were many different versions of her before she came—ultimately i wasn't satisfied with any of them, so i turned to an artist i knew back then and requested that he made a design of her for me (idk why i did that and looking back it i'm really embarrassed now).

and then....raspberry coat was born.

a little while after that, i ended up tweaking her design just a tad bit. i have her old (and at that point most recent and definitive) ref sheet here:

back then, i used bases i found on DA. LOLLL

raspberry's new and fresh out of the oven redesign is mostly inspired by the little gacha life version of her in this old ref sheet. that design is...iirc made by my cousin????

anyways, time for lore!!!!!

she used to be in a group of other characters—they were all fankids and i made them fankids because i kept watching those mlp next gen speedpaint videos on yt back then LMAOOOOOOOOO

raspberry is specifically a twicord (twilight x discord) fankid, but she really did looked nothing like them aside from the tail, i guess....??????

her profession used to be a royal guard in canterlot, and she could possess dark magic despite being a pegasus for some fucking reason??? what was little me on

i remember one of her wings having to get replaced with a prosthetic or whatever it's called because she lost it during battle, and she got multiple scars including one on her eye that caused it to go blind (damn)

......yeah. that's painful

she won't be that anymore, though, so i removed her scars. she's fine now '--

all in all, i might repurpose her and either put her in epidemic stellaria or in a whole new universe on its own. we'll see. i guess i'm planning on redesigning the rest of her friends too, so do wait for that~
