Just curious what you think of Razor x Barbara as ship. No pressure.

i think it’s really cute actually🥰🥰i’ve not seen it around too much but i’ve definitely had my own secret thoughts about how cute their dynamic would be—pop princess church girl with a bit of sadness on the inside and little scruffy wolf boy who gets hurt all the time cause he’s doing.. wolf things

i feel like razor’s bluntness would be sort of refreshing for barbara. she’s so used to having to keep up appearances around others and be that idol, that sweet girl, deaconess, healer—but around razor, she doesn’t have to be anything but herself (although she probably does plenty of healing for him anyways). razor doesn’t know jack shit about social cues, social rules, social anything, really. so i think barbara would find being around him really comforting and a nice change of pace from being hoarded by fans and stuff. and it’s not that she isn’t a sweet girl or a devoted deaconess or a kindhearted healer—it’s that those roles simply become so expected of her by others that it’s like she can’t be anything else.

with razor, i think she could feel sad. with razor, she could feel angry. with razor, she could feel confused. and it would all be okay. she can express other emotions around him because he does not have that expectation that everyone else in mondstadt does, and i think that would be very special for these two.

and i think razor of course would find himself drawn to her not because of her role as an idol but because of who she really is apart from that (he’s not really in the city a lot anyways, so it’s not like he even sees “idol barbara” a lot). and also, it’s her kindheartedness; she treats him with a respect and dignity that others often haven’t, and i think it would make him feel very special. she listens to him, helps him find the words he needs to express himself, and she patches him up when he gets injured. he considers her lupical fairly quickly, and whenever they are in the forest together, he is always very protective of her to make sure she never gets hurt if any monsters attack.

and maybe even at times, he comes into the city to visit her, and he often tries to disperse hoards of fans that harass her and follow her around. it may not always work, but it usually does the job, since someone else nearby will hear and catch on as well—such as diluc or diona, and sometimes even the traveler if theyre around. then the two can effectively escape, running off for their usual walk in the forest.

on these walks, i think that they don’t even talk half the time. it’s just the fact that they’re next to each other, can be in the space with each other.

all around 10/10 really cute ship that i think has so much potential for sweetness and just ah sweet sweet sweet so cute i really really love them😭
