Quick question about Volk TE37's via /r/cars

Quick question about Volk TE37's

I'm looking at a car which comes with Volk Racing TE37, the wheels look genuine as they have the "Volk Racing/FORGED/RAYSENG./MONOBLOCK stamps on the wheels but one thing I can't wrap around is that it says "DESIGN OF JAPAN" rather than "MADE IN JAPAN", are they still genuine?

And they have 8 studs, not sure if they're multi fit or looks for 4x100. Whereas the original rims would be only 4 studs I think?

I'm not sure where to ask this question so if this doesn't belong here, let me know
