#rayman and the mystic isle

Healing my inner child by making Rayman ocs for the first time. Plus a Raysona too I suppose?? Really happy with how they all came out. Still trying to figure out their lore at the moment. What I have so far are the five at the bottom are basically powerful sages that watch over their respective corner of a giant magical island.

I always found it interesting that the wiki describes them as giants but that did give me some ideas.

These giants live a monastic lifestyle and are quite peaceful. They spent most of their time meditating towards finding enlightenment. You can find their temples on the peaks of various mountains throughout the Glade.

What’s most unique about them is their skills in the mystic ways. Despite their large size they can move like water and can be as light as a feather. Some folks recount stories of seeing them float on air and move around on clouds.

They’re quite welcoming to other giants who wish to join them in finding inner peace. Some of the more aggressive giants turned over a new leaf thanks to them.

Oh gosh I totally missed that type of giants

If I had to add something to yo headcanon (that btw, is such a good headcanon) is that they go well with the Fakirs from Rayman Origins and even share the temples and think the same way

And the temple as well as they (Giants and Fakirs) welcome everyone to follow their ideology and beliefs without presure and if you want to return to the people down the mountais they let you, no hard feelings

Could also add they'd help anyone within their power

AND ☝️ not all their temples are on mountains but on floating isles (I headcanon that the Iron mountains and Olympus Maximus top are floating isles next to tall mountains and Mystical Pique)
