For a protective starter (with Nomad and/or with Rawya and Cyrus)
Absolutely not. Malekith snarled, leaping in front of the young Gallifreyans, daggers out and shimmering in the light of the double moons overhead. He knew there were generally consequences, following a distress call but he'd hoped just this once they'd find only a marooned ship and shortened rations to blame.
Oh, but nothing ever came easy it seemed; instead, they found themselves surrounded by a hoard of Chitauri.
"Nomad," he barked over the high-pitched chattering. "Shelter the others. This won't take long." By Bor's decrepit beard, let these cursed creatures fall with ease.

The Rani started to walk away, expecting the girl to follow her. She didn't particularly care if she didn't, and it was clear she would just leave if the girl didn't catch up. Nonetheless, she answered her.
"I am the Rani. Address me as such."
She checked her satchel, making sure she'd stolen everything she'd needed from this facility. She'd acquired some fresh, rare samples, which had put her in a good mood, though to anyone who didn't know her well that wouldn't be in any way clear.
"Where will I be taking you after my pit-stop?"
The last thing Rawya wanted to do was to upset the Time Lady. The fact that The Rani was going to show mercy upon her was a good sign. At least she’ll be able to have a ride back to Earth, which had become her second home since the destruction of Gallifrey.
“I’ll do my best to not cause any trouble and stay out of your way. Thank you for your help.” She said to her, then she realized that she never gotten the woman’s name or title. “What do I call you?” She asked her.

( @musesreunite [Rawya] liked for a starter )
"Hi!" Donna said, her voice high pitched, a clear sense of urgency bleeding through. "I know we just met and all but uh....I think we need to run..." As if on cue, a loud crash followed by a roar echoed through the space between them.

@musesreunite continued from here x. Rawya didn't stowaway on Iota's ship on purpose. Back on Earth, she was chased down by the Judoons. She didn't know why they were targeting her, but she couldn't stay there. Despite wanting to go back to her precious books in the book shop. She hid herself underneath the console of the ship. She knew Iota would be angry if she knew she was there. When they land, she'll just leave and find another ship. Perhaps one to take her back to Earth.
It had been a long time since the Visionary had met Rawya and built a sonic device with her and it showed. The Visionary looked older, her hair was showing the faintest signs of greying. The ageing was premature, caused by her suit using her lifeforce to function and side effects from travelling through the time vortex without a capsule for extended periods.
She ran into her TARDIS, skidding along the white floor until she collided with the console. She slammed down on the door control, closing and locking the doors. One moment she'd been working with the Judoon, the next they'd turned on her and were trying to arrest her! Why? She had no idea.
The Visionary ran around the console, turning dials and pulling levers til the ship, shakily went into flight. She fell back against a white jumpseat and that was when she noticed a foot.
"Alright..." She breathed. "Who's there?" She asked, cautiously.

@musesreunite: “I’m okay. I’m not even that tired.” (Iota for Rawya)
"Are you sure?" The Visionary asked out of concern. Rawya looked tired. "Because I can have a go if you want to lie down. If nothing else, let me help." She offered. She was holding out a hand clenching her sleeve. Instead, she was showing Rawya her suit. Technical symbols glowed and twirled on her jumpsuit sleeve. "It's sonic." She smiled softly.

Rawya kept quiet, watching Dax's uncle have his guards march down the corridor. Thankfully they couldn't see Rawya and the Doctor.
"There's something up there. Up in the sky." Nomad pointed upwards, seeing a glow up in the clouds. He had seen so many invasions on Earth, but nothing like this one. (For the Fourteenth Doctor)
The man who is a doctor started looking where Nomad was pointing. " But what is it?"

@musesreunite continued from x.
"I remember my mother's ship. My brothers and I would travel with her." Rawya explained. The thought of her family made her sad, missing them so much. But she promised to make them proud. "I don't mind meeting here. It's easier, and I know this place." She responded.
"She must've been remarkable," Iota said gently, trying to comfort the other woman. She found she didn't like to see her sad. Iota thought to her own mother. Iota and her brother had been loomed into an old Great House of logic and reasoning, their House didn't show emotion, so her mother was stoic and focused on her work. Their father was a politician for another Great House, so he was never there either. All the Visionary had growing up had been her brother. She missed him.
"I'll see you in one day then. If I'm here early, I'll wait for you," She told her. "I can't promise I'll be on time. My suit is a little unreliable." She made a face, she was still working on it. She missed her TARDIS so much; every day she missed it more and more.

As they reached the top of the stairs, Rawya looked around. There had to be somewhere they could get away. At least till the Raptor calmed down and they could take them home. That, and she really wanted to know the other Time Lady standing next to her.
Lifting her head upwards, Rawya noticed a fire escape door above them. It would lead up to the roof of the building. She jumped up, pulling the ladder down for her and the other. “Here, we can go up here.”
"Right!"
And she's leading the other up the stairs in a run. As much as she wanted to make introductions and find out more about the other Time Lady now here as well as about the Raptor and the getting the poor guy or gal home.
First came finding a safe space. Somewhere they could strategize and get a feel for the situation and also just to talk. She's moving with her free had to get out her sonic from her coat pocket.
"Just need to find ourselves somewhere safe!"

@musesreunite: "Hey. I'm not going anywhere without you. that's a promise. " (For the fourteenth Doctor with my muse, Nomad along with Cyrus and Rawya)
"Well," The Doctor bowed his head and swallowed, "I suppose I'm outnumbered, aren't I?" He said, nodding to each of the three of them. His hand was on the handbrake of the TARDIS console. He would rather do this alone. He considered it too dangerous for them.

"Now that I am over eighty, I keep on feeling the fright that my son and I experienced. I fear talking about it, and when I watch TV and see what they are doing in Gaza, in Jerusalem, in Hebron, the horrible feeling occupies my heart again. My son never forgot what he witnessed in ’48, and I have never forgiven myself for not being attentive to his eyes [i.e., at that time]; yes, his eyes were watching, telling me things. He was watching the scenes, like a horror movie. Horrible scenes, horrible noises – crying with deep agony, with bitterness. But I was helpless; all I could do was hold him tight. I could not give him water, or food, or safety. He probably saw the fear in my eyes too when we heard the bombing and saw the dead bodies and blood all around. You might say he was very young, but when he grew up, we used to talk; he always reminded me of details that I had deleted from my memory. I deleted the scenes of blood, and my son reminded me that the blood was not liquid, but rather still, like a frozen red color. I deleted the feeling of starvation, thirst, of the broken-heartedness we experienced when we walked out, leaving Lydda. I needed to live and go on in my life, so I deleted the painful memories from my mind. He – my eldest son – used to remember them … Poor one, he died early, from severe diabetes. Maybe his eyes refused to see them [the Israeli military] again [after the occupation of 1967]. Maybe he wanted to run away from seeing what they are doing to us now. Maybe he did not want to see the same movie, the same wounds again." 2015 interview with Rawya, a Palestinian woman who survived the invasion of Lydda during "Operation Dani," the largest single expulsion of Palestinians in the 1948 Nakba. From Incarcerated Childhood and the Politics of Unchilding, Nadera Shalhoub-Kevorkian (2019)

For the S3 prompt thing— Smith and Jones: Our muses meet for the first time as they are dealing with the Judoon aliens.
For your 13 and my Clara? Or maybe Rawaya if you prefer :)
@deskofstlukes
It was just another average day on Earth. Rawya had been living on this planet for quite some time, living amongst the humans. They had no idea that even though she looked like them, she was actually Gallifreyan who was very far from home. Since then, she was adopted by a kind man and he raised her as his own daughter. But he recently passed, leaving Rawya alone.
During these kind of sad days, Rawya would be spending her time at the book stores, finding the love of reading books to distract her mind. Usually she would be how she would spend her day, but not today….
On this day, she was exploring the shelves. Having just picked up a book that she would like. A sudden sound of crashing made her froze in place. She quickly turned around towards the front of the store, see rhino-humanoids charging inside. Everyone was screaming and panicking in the shop.
Judoon. She muttered under her breath, eyes widened. She moved behind one of the shelves, shielding herself from their line of sight. Why would they here? Were they aware of her there? If so, how did they know?

1st of October: Mountain / A' chiad latha dhen Dàmhair: A' bheinn
English Translation:
Since the day the dragon came, it seemed to Thorin he saw the mountain clearer with every step he took away from it, with each mile he and his family led the people of Erebor west, their backs to the mountain, its form in his mind grew firmer.
They toiled in strange lands, selling their skills like simple trades-folk instead of the masters they were. How low we are fallen, the young prince would seethe, still proud despite their loss.
Thorin's people had not been long in connecting Thror's hoard to the dragon's attack; the first to do so turned their backs on him, choosing to join their kin in the Iron Hills than suffer the Wilds under a leader they did not trust. Those who kept faith and remained, standing shoulder to shoulder with him, Thorin vowed to protect.
Even before the disappearance of Thrain, a shift came in Durin's Folk. They began to seek guidance from their prince, following his lead and rallying behind the dream he described for them: a new home in the west, far from hardship and strife where they may rebuild all that was lost.
But always in his mind lay the same thought, the mountain, the mountain, the mountain. In his dreams he looked on it from afar. Watching. Waiting. He would bring his people home, redeem his family for their grandfather's sickness that brought them all to ruin.
The birth of his sister's sons came in a time of peace. The older they grew, an ever-increasing choir that sung with the drums from the deep followed him....the mountain, the mountain, the mountain, they cried.
Oh the lonely mountain...
Scottish Gaelic translation:
Bhon dearbh là a thàinig an nathair-sgiathach, chunnaic Thorin a’ bheinn nas soilleire le gach ceum a thog e air falbh, leis a h-uile mìle a stiùiridh e is a theaghlach an t-sluagh Erebor gu Iar, an dromannan ris a’ bheinn, dh’fhàs a cumadh cruaidh anns na inntinn.
Dh’obraich iad ann an dùthchannan neònaiche, a’ reic na sgilean aca mar gun robhar luchd-malairt farasta seach na maighstirean a bhathar. Cho ìosal a tha sinn air tuiteam, smaoinich am prionnsa òg le fuath geur, fhathast moiteil a dh’aindeoin an calltachd.
Cha tug e fada gus an cur an t-sluaigh a h-uile rud ri chèile: sabaid an nathair-sgiathach agus tasgaidh Thror. Tionndaidh na ciad feadhainn an aghaidh an Rìgh agus thagh iad a bhith a’ dol gu na luchd-dàimh aca anns na Cnuic Iarainn, an àite a bhith a’ fulang san dùthaich fhiadhaich fo cheannard nach robh earb annta ann. Ghealladh Thòrin gun dìon e na feadhainn nach deach, a bha a dh’fhantainn agus a chumail creideas leotha.
Eadhon ron thuras Thràin nach tàinig e air ais bho fhathast, thàinig atharrachadh air na muinntir Durin. Thoiseach iad a’ sireadh stiùireadh bhon phrionnsa, a bhith ga leantainn agus a’ tighinn ri chèile air cùlaibh an aislinge a bha e ag iarraidh dhaibh: dachaigh ùr san Iar, fada air falbh bho dhorradas agus strì far am faodar a h-uile rud a bha air caill a thogail a-rithist.
Ach an-còmhnaidh anns na inntinn bha an aon smaoin, a’ bheinn, a’ bheinn, a’ bheinn. Anns na aislingean, choimhead e air fad às. A’ coimhead. A’ feitheamh. Thoireadh e an t-sluaigh aige dachaigh agus cuir ceart gach rud a rinn a sheanair a thoirt iad uile gu lom-sgrios.
Thàinig breith mhic a phiuthar ann an àm ciùin ach mar a dh’fhàs iad suas, dh’fhàs guth còisir anns na inntinn a bha a’ seinn leis na drumaichean às na h-uamhan. A’ bheinn, a’ bheinn, a’ bheinn, dh’èigh iad.
Ò a’ bheinn ònaranach...
Amon Rawya

"touch them and I'll kill you" (missys rehabilitation)
Rawya looked over in surprise as Missy yelled over at her. "I-I'm sorry. " She inched away from the object. "Forgive me. I only read about them in books. I never seen one in person."
