Off the top of my head, Manchu loanwords in Mandarin include a couple Qing official titles that were intentionally exoticised (e.g., 和碩 héshuò, 貝勒 bèilè, 昂邦 ángbāng), some food and culture-specific words (e.g., 薩其馬 sàqímǎ), and various place and personal names. There are also a couple idioms and dialect-specific words in Beijing and Dongbei Mandarin that are usually attributed to Manchu or Xibe (e.g., 邋遢 lāta, 馬虎 mǎhu), but there has never been a comprehensive study of these, nor will there ever be one, because northeastern Manchu is a dead language.

Phonologically, Manchu/Xibe (and Mongolic and Turkic, for that matter) has had zero influence on Mandarin. This is actually kinda obvious—none of the distinguishing features of northern topolects (especially things that southerners like to rag on like erhua and kongyun) are found in Manchu, and they all have perfectly valid internal diachronic justifications.

At best, these accusations of a “corrupted” northern Chinese are holdovers from an older generation of linguistics that attributed anything and everything uncommon or unexpected to unattested substrates (looking at you Sigmund Feist); at worst, it’s an odd form of Han chauvinism/regional nationalism/anti-communism that’s indignant towards Mandarin primacy.

I have a lot of teachers that I remember fondly. The one I'll call out today is Mrs. Rawski. She was a music teacher and I've never been that into music, but her approach was so much fun and creative that I was excited to take her class, and it's one of the ones I remember most fondly.

ST.PACIFIC OF SAN SEVERINO, FRANCISCAN FRIAR, Carlo Antonio Divini was born in San Severino in 1653; he was orphaned at a young age. He entered the Franciscan order, taking the name Pacificus, and began a long apostolate of service in his own region. His health was poor, and he died in 1721. He was canonized in 1836.

Hello! The other day I saw your guys replying to some asks (imperial harem and clothes-wise) and you guys talked about some books? Could you recommend some about those that you guys use? Have a good day!

I read a book once about the lives of women in the inner palace in different Chinese dynasties, but this was a long time ago, in the early 2000s. It was a book translated from Chinese into Vietnamese with the very indistinguishable name of “The Emperor’s Women” and I can’t even tell if you translated it back into Chinese that would have been the original name of the book. Don’t ask about the author because it’d be a miracle if I know. I don’t think this information is going to be very helpful to anyone unfortunately. 

For the last couple of years, and probably for the next year or so, I have access to a university library so I would sometimes search for peer-reviewed journal articles/books on random subjects in Qing dynasty history because I write Qing dynasty fanfic. Not sure if this is of any use to you, but few books I have checked out/have in my reading list include:
