Now I'm curious to see how Froze and Yonaka-tann would meet and fall in love 🤔

I once wrote headcanons for Rawberry x Moge-ko, in which Rawberry accidentally falls into one of the portals in the beginning of the flame world invasion and ends up in mogeko castle, and the two have a weird relationship to one another; bordering between trying to murder, but also hateflirt with eachother.

so that being said, Somewhat Strange Mogeko tells Yonaka to go to the very top of the castle if she wants to return home, but imagine an alternate scenario for in which, instead of the following scene of her waking up on that train, she is teleported straight into the gray world.

Froze has a very no-nonsense presence about her, keeps calm and collected, and so, Yonaka would gravitate towards her the most at a certain point. Froze is not very trusting towards otherworldly characters, so she eyes Yonaka with suspicion and keeps her guard up around her.

imagine someone like Dialo being less wary, only kind of confused ("no horns? no wings? ...at all?"), she is a good judge of character and views her a polite, good-mannered girl. (by extension, Chelan would be kind to her as well.) Dialo's ease around Yonaka makes Froze consider, at least a little bit, being less on edge around her as well. the first, and friendliest conversation Yonaka and Froze would have is when Dialo invites them all to eat apple strudel together, and inquire more about where Yonaka came from, and how to get back home.

Froze is somewhat of an errand girl around the village, so Yonaka, being the polite-mannered girl she is, feels obligated to offer if she can help her out when given assignments to complete. yeah, the angel is fine with her helping out with the more benign tasks. this would be sort of the starting point of them beginning to form a closer relationship, I think.

it's definitely a slowburn for these two; it takes a while for Froze's cold demeanor to melt, and Yonaka is used to keeping others at arms-length, but it's got endless possibilities nonetheless.

and I suspect just because Yonaka keeps her distance (emotionally), doesn't mean she wouldn't develop a crush from afar pretty early on.

FUNAMUSEA - THE GRAY GARDEN

YOSAFIRE

Probably the most affected by her actions out of the three of them. She can’t stop thinking about the things she’s done - the people she’s hurt... The harm she’s done - the pain she’s caused. It’s so difficult to remember everything and being told of her deeds hurts more than trying to recall the moments she’s done nothing but damage. She cries about it more often than not. She isn’t herself anymore and she never will be again. 

If she’s hurt you, she’ll spend the rest of her life apologizing. She doesn’t expect you to forgive her and she doesn’t really want you to. What if it happens again? What if she’s already a monster? What if she can never move past this? She spends her days wondering what the answers to these questions are as she stares blankly at the vast blue sky. 

GREIF

She couldn’t be more ashamed of what she’s done if she tried, her response to the feelings that overtook her being to go silent and stoic, believing herself unworthy of the attention of others after everything that’s happened. As far as she sees it, there is no redemption - no coming back from this. There is nothing she can do to be forgiven and she knows this all too well. It eats her up inside, keeping her up for days at a time. She can’t do anything about it.

She’ll push you away if she’s done anything to hurt you, believing that she does not deserve to be forgiven by you in any sense of the word. She doesn’t want to be given the chance to hurt you again. It’s for your safety, she says, but she can’t bear the thought of being so out of control again. She can’t forgive herself for what she’s done. 

RAWBERRY

Rawberry almost seems unbothered by the atrocities she’s committed. Almost. Though she tries to brush it off like it’ll go away if she doesn’t acknowledge it, she spends most of her time wondering if it’s really over. She wonders if she’s really all that different from how she was when she was under the red influence. She wonders if she can be considered anything other than a monster. She’s suffering deep inside, but you’ll likely never see it.

If she hurt you, she’ll spend a lot of time joking with you as if she was still the friend she was back before the change. She’ll push you around like she always does and potentially even joke about some of the things she’s said and done, though it pains her to even think about it. She believes that she always has been and always will be a monster.

Recently, I re-downloaded the game The gray garden, I so love it..!(*´▽`*)

And then I got the idea to make a little s/i for the gray garden o( ❛ᴗ❛ )o

In short, this game tells the story of a world where angels and demons live in peace and tranquility. Next I will not talk about the plot, but will highlight a few characters ☆⌒(ゝ。∂)

It's me, and i'm angel! I decided to make my s/I as sprites in the game (￣▽￣*)ゞ

I was also thinking of adding Idate, but it suddenly occurred to me that a lot of characters from different fandom sometimes intersect in others, so these worlds are in the same interlaced? As for example, Idate from Ice scream was in WaTGBS..In fact, he can get into the world of the gray garden, with the help of someone's power..? For example my power („ಡωಡ„)

Ohh now I imagined walking with him in the flower garden and admiring the clear sky.. So romantic! (*ﾉ∀`*)

Oh, Yes, I am an angel, and I possess magical powers, so I send you rays of good and love! Blessings to all selfships, they are all such valid!

And also, get acquainted! This is Macarona, the sweetest and kindest angel! She's also my sister, so I understand she's my platonic f/o..? (´･ᴗ･ ` )

She is very quiet and modest, always ready to help friends and cheer up! I'm glad she's my sister!o(≧▽≦)o

Nothing is known about the age of Macarona and her friends, but I think we were born in the same year as twins. But sometimes I think she's more independent than I am...(￣ω￣;)

I will ship her with Rawberry, her friend demon. In the game there were a couple a few humorous allusions to their more intimate relationship(ง ื▿ ื)ว

So, as a sister, I support her and try to give advice about their relationship. Macarona looks so cute when talking about her girlfriend!( ˙꒳​˙ )

I'm also very good friends with Yosafire, a cute demon who loves flowers! She is very positive and cheerful, we like to talk about different nonsense and eat delicious Apple pies ٩(｡•́‿•̀｡)۶

But her friend Froze says we'll get fat. So we run to play in the garden after dinner (っ≧ω≦)っ

Froze unsociable and cold girl, but at heart she is very gentle and caring. She always takes care of Yosafire and me too. I am very grateful to her for that (o˘◡˘o)

That's all.. In the gray garden there are a couple of other characters I wanted to talk about, but I'll do it later..And this post is so long..(•ิ_•ิ)

Edahs, Wodahs’s reincarnation, is a female angel with gray-feathered wings, and her hair is wavy like fem!Wodahs’ hair except it’s cut just below her shoulders. Her name is shade backwards, in case that wasn’t immediately noticeable.

Anne Danta, Grora’s reincarnation, has shorter hair than Grora but still wears pigtails. You know how Yosaflame and Sherbet basically had their temperaments switched as Yosafire and Froze? Same thing happens with Grora and Wodahs. I got the name from andante, because DSP got Grora’s name from allegro, which is ‘a fast and lively tempo’. Andante, comparatively, is slower, which I thought was fitting because Anne is supposed to be more stoic than Grora.

Alvus, Arbus’ reincarnation, is a male demon that usually wears feminine clothing. Alvus has the same hairstyle as Arbus except it’s just a little shorter. I basically took Arbus’s name inspiration ‘Albus’ and switched the ‘b’ with a ‘v’ because I heard those two letters are interchangeable in Japanese.

Tenri, Ater’s reincarnation, is a female demon with her hair in a high ponytail. I got her name from the Latin word for darkness, tenebris, because Ater’s name means dark. I tried coming up with good names ok

Tenri and Alvus match clothes all the time, except Tenri wears black and Alvus wears white. They make Kcalb super tired but he appreciates having them there because he misses his cats just a little. They have a similar relationship to Kcalb and Yosafire’s in the game.

Edahs and Kcalb would probably have a very awkward relationship because Kcalb would feel very guilty about his brother dying in the war (…maybe he even unintentionally killed him instead of taking his eye OH NO) and Edahs is confused on why the Devil always looks so uncomfortable around her? I could see him trying to look out for her at the same time though.

Anne and Tenri actually get along quite well, because Anne has no reason to hate her. I like to think at one point Tenri does something that ends up pissing Anne off for a long time but they eventually make up. I imagine Ater and Grora probably died fighting each other, and Arbus had to go on without her sister for a while.

Ciel or Sherbet would probably be Head Angel, I’m leaning more towards Sherbet even though he sounds like the more unreliable one, because of how Etihw trusted Froze to do some work during the game after Wodahs was gone. I think that parallels Etihw’s faith in Sherbet while he was alive. Yosaflame would be Kcalb’s right hand demon, in place of Ater and Arbus.

Ciel and Lost are the cool aunt and uncle that make great food so everyone loves them.

I like to think of Rigatona as someone who helps train them to be stronger but she’s really intense about it and kinda scares the kids. Lowkey want to make her the PE teacher or something lmao

Sherbet and Yosaflame no longer hate each other but Sherbet still annoys him at times and tends to tease him. They’re more friendly rivals now.

Cranber, thankfully, has mellowed out since the war and doesn’t have a constant diet of angels. Like Raspbel though she’s still a cannibal but more sneaky about it. Her pigtails no longer has those teeth on them because they’re too scary-looking. They still come out when she’s feeling particularly hungry like Rawberry. She’s fond of Tenri and Alvus and has sorta taken them under her wing. (I headcanon that she was the closest of the demon ancestors to the cats)

Everyone knows she likes Froze, they’re totally for her!” you exclaim while clapping your hands together like you’d solved one of this world’s biggest secrets - and while Yosafire is relieved you didn’t actually catch on, also feels like dying on the inside because now she’s gotta think up of another method to confess.

» Yosafire likes to pretend (most of the time it isn’t actually pretend at all) to feel uneasy in unfamiliar, hostile situations (like the Flame Underworld) just so she can be clingy with an excuse, insisting the two of you should hold hands so you don't accidentally get separated.

» She gives you relentless amount of gifts; flowers plucked from her garden into a somewhat clumsily wrapped bouquet, or fruits from the nearby forest ("So you don't go hungry!" she says, despite the fact you already ate pie at Dialo's house half an hour earlier) and sometimes completely random items that remind you of her, like a rock vaguely the same shape as a heart, drawing of a butterfly in her diary she saw in the meadows, with your eye or hair color.

Pregnancy meme with Eti, Kcalb & Silhouette? ^__^

Reaction: Etihw would be totally terrified… Sure, we saw many happy scenes but there were also enough moments suggesting that tragic war memories live deep inside of Etihw’s heart. I think the perspective of creating a new life again would be scary… Looking at the bright side, Etihw for sure wouldn’t simply tell Kcalb good news but rather teased him and joked. When Kcalb finally realizes what Eti was talking about he freezes… He would be probably even more scared. But in overall, they are both insecure yet happy. 

1 month: It’s been a while since Etihw was so lively. Together with Kcalb they go for long walks, talk about the past, make plans for future… The sun above the Garden shines brighter than ever. The girls gladly visit the BlancBlack Castle; Yosafire always brings food and asks when she can play with the baby, Froze scold Eti and tells her god to take care of yourself, Macarona sews many toys, Rawberry makes preserves which are apparently very healthy for the baby (even food cravings can’t make Eti eat it) 

Food cravings: It’s hard to tell whether Etihw really has cravings or just uses the situation to annoy Kcalb even more than before. The devil is forced to give away his chocolate, cake, soup… literally everything he wants to eat. However, he doesn’t even think about complaining. Instead, Kcalb gives Eti two portions. Etihw also tries to make Wodahs cook more than usually but the head angel is too taught to let it happen. Nobody mess with Wodahs, even the god. 

Mood swings: The mood swings are very visible in the Garden… Sometimes the residents wake up to see a wonderful day but three seconds later it’s raining. Then it’s sunny again, then clouds come. Etihw uses the mood swings to fool with Kcalb, too. Sometimes cries really loud, so that Grora comments on how awful he is, just to laugh and ask Kcalb why he is so angry. 

Sonogram: Once Etihw asks Kcalb if he wants to see their baby. Apparently there’s a spell letting them to do it. They are both very touched when they can see Sill for the first time. Kcalb pretends to be strong and Etihw annoys him, in return Kcalb replies that Etihw is almost crying too. Seeing a life that was created not from the divine powers but from love… it’s a very intimate moment. 

Baby kicking: I can’t help but imagine Etihw messing with Kcalb again, probably saying that someone attacks them. When Kcalb is almost ready to declare the war to Ivlis, Eti laughs and tells him to put a hand of her belly. Kcalb is a soft man, we know that he would almost cry again. 

Water broke: Let’s be honest - everybody in the castle would panic. Then Wodahs enters the scene and takes Etihw to the room, leaving stressed Kcalb behind and mumbling “How were you even able to wage a war”…

At the hospital: Or, in this version - in front of Etihw’s room. Kcalb tries to calm his breath, repeating that everything is going to be alright, it’s nothing big, Wodahs and Grora are with Eti… and then Yosafire with friends burst into the corridor, screaming and panicking. After all, Kcalb is stressed again. Until he hears the cry… 

Its a…: girl!

Name: Silhouette I want to know too. What is her name?

Parents reaction: I guess Kcalb would be really scared to take Sill. Eti tells him that he’s a coward and it’s his daughter, there’s no need to worry. Finally he dares to hold Sill. Yosaf is crying in the door.

Imagine the Demon-Angel sextet drawing in the garden or in Blancblack Castle and joking around about everyone’s drawings. They ask for Etihw, Kcalb, Wodahs, and Grora to draw something.

Etihw draws themself kissing Kcalb on the cheek.

Kcalb draws a simple looking chocolate cake.

Wodahs draws a highly realistic picture of salmon ochazuke. 

Grora didn’t finish drawing because she saw Ater out the corner of her eye and chased her down. From what was there, it was Ater.

RTTE 30 Day Challenge - Day 14

Day 14 is Alternate outfit(s). I’d imagine because I’m doing the challenge in a text-only format, that this would be more difficult for me to do.

I guess I could talk about clothes I’d love to see them in?

I mean, aside from wanting to see them in their underwear, of course. I’d love to see them without their armor, too. Astrid without the skirt. 

How about all of the gang in black suits? That would be cool to see. (And now I’m thinking about the Men in Black, haha). Though, I’d imagine Tuffnut would hate being in a suit because that’s just not who he is. Snotlout would think he’s fine as hell. Astrid would look great.

Or another alternative. I once reblogged this post of a set of 8 tshirts with words on them and I tagged what I thought which of the gang of six would wear: Astrid is Bombegranate, Hiccup is Cutecumber, Snotlout is Broconut, Fishlegs is Big Fig, Ruffnut is Rawberry, Tuffnut is Honeydude. I’d love to see the gang in those tshirts.

10 Of The Best Places To Eat And Drink In Winchester

This week I was treated to a historical walk around Winchester followed by a tour of their bars and cafes. Living only an hour away by train, I am wondering why I haven't really uncovered the delights of Winchester before. It is a foodies dream with many locally produced foods. New Alresford is famous for it's watercress, but I hadn't even realised that it also distilled Twisted Nose Gin. If you fancy trying it in some handmade chocolate then Chococo is the place to visit.My foodie tour guide for the afternoon was one half of Cabinet Rooms, Gary. Now may I recommend that this be one of your stops when you are next in Winchester. A few minutes walk from the station, this is a hidden gem. Infact there are a lot of hidden gems in Winchester. Whilst the big brands dominate the high street, if you take a side street, you will unearth some special treats. Cabinet Rooms is a cafe bar. I can highly recommend the sour dough tuna melt.Gary told me of his love of Iceland (making me want to visit even more!) and the homemade Icelandic happy marriage cake he gave me to try was delicious. Sweet and sticky with rhubarb and vanilla. The cakes are all homemade by Gary's partner Marcus. In the evenings, cocktails are on the menu, but Gary is keen that that they aren't sickly sweet. The coffee liquer he gave me to try was similar to Tia Maria without all the sugar.He then showed me some of his favourite places to visit. The Corner House has been recently refurbished and is often home to The Spitfire Sisters a 1940's harmony group.If you are looking for a quirky pie shop then Piecaramba! fits the bill. The decor was fantastic and it's reviews on tripadvisor are outstanding.Unfortunately, Kyoto Kitchen was closed as I visited on a Monday. Here, Gary recommended trying the Winchester roll. The restaurant claims fame to the world’s first sushi roll to use wasabi leaf instead of seaweed. It uses locally sourced trout and locally grown wasabi. Who knew that Winchester grew Wasabi!?!If you are looking for a good cooked breakfast then Forte Kitchen is worth a try. Then we moved onto coffee. I have no idea why people always assume I like coffee! Again there are all your big chains, but some amazing independents too. Flat Whites is one of these. When Pret opened up next to their plot, I can imagine their worry. However, I think it shows how good they are when the people of Winchester continue to chose them. I have to say the blend they gave me was delicious.Another independent coffee shop with seating that Gary recommends a visit (as did my tour guide) is Coffee Lab.For juices and great vegetarian food then Rawberry on St Gerorges Street is a great place to visit. My husband, however, who is a Green King fan (coming from Bury St Edmunds) would feel right at home at The Royal Oak.One thing that really struck me about my bars and cafes tour of Winchester was the community spirit. Independents were helping each other and collaborating to make themselves better known. It really was a lovely thing to see.
