I drew this one a few months back, but never uploaded it because i wasn't really happy with it.

But since you asked i guess i could post it.

had what felt like 15 different stress dreams at once today: got roped into going to some kind of rave by my family, was trying to figure out how to tell them that I had to go home for a work from home shift, got briefly stuck in a trader joe's without my mask, randomly ended up in a field and found two kittens I had to take care of and get my cat used to, suddenly woke up in a college lecture room where I had fallen asleep during class and was somehow also supposed to be doing my usual work from home stuff while in said class, the rave was still happening nearby and it was attacked by some kind of militia so all the ravegoers took shelter in the college I was in, the surrounding areas, and some kind of amusement park that had fused with the college. At one point I joined one of the professors and a group of people on an enclosed roller coaster/people mover kind of ride for safety, at another point I was just moving through the floors of the college finding an out-of-the-way place to hide, then at a different point I was in the teacher's lounge for physics professors and feeling kind of awkward because I didn't know anyone there. I think that's when I woke up lol

He heard the hiss and clack of talons before a wet, fleshy body dropped from the ceiling, just barely missing its mark on both of them in its eagerness. Leon jumped back, firing into it. The licker shrieked and writhed, turning from him to attack Kassandra instead with a haunting wail.

"A good trait to have, even if it doesn't always win friends." She couldn't afford such luxuries as honesty. Her existence was even a secret, only allowing herself to be known in such small increments. How fortunate that people were so stuck in their heads these days that she could go unnoticed.

The disturbing silence is only punctuated by the distant sounds of more of the infected in the distance and it made her muscles tense, ever ready to take them down too. Killing came easy, especially when killing something that was no longer able to be saved.

Lowering the gun, she turned to face him. "Tyrant? I didn't read much about that in the reports, I only had so much info to go on." Now Abstergo dealings she could tell all sorts of stories about, but as far as she knew there were only zombies and Las Plagas on Umbrella's end. "I've been training since I was a little girl, it comes naturally."

The lights shutting down caused her to go on high alert. How very horror movie-like. Not that this was her first encounter with horror and the unnatural, it just usually came from the Isu's intervention, not human. Lips curled in a snarl as she flicked on her shoulder flashlight, scanning the area that Leon wasn't. "Just add some flashing colored lights and it'll be a party."

women i love through my memory pt. 1

her warmth was obvious.

the heavy bass filled our chests as we left the stage and made our way to the bar inside the venue. molly weighted down her eyelids and her face was particularly beautiful as it was illuminated by multicolor LEDs.

we arrive at the bar.

“two jack and cokes, please,” she half-yells at the bartender, struggling to be heard amidst the pulsating beats and ravegoers.

she eagerly hands one drink to me and indulges in the other herself. i can’t stop my heart from thudding in my chest when she smirks at me, just before leaning in for what i knew was a kiss.

another woman’s kiss is so unimaginably comforting. the vibrations and the goings-on of the gathering disappeared instantly. the only important sensation right then was the spontaneous tenderness and genuine connection i felt.

i wanted to be left on her lips and i kissed her like that.

the rest of the night was sprinkled with missed opportunities, such as not remembering her name and not getting her phone number.

i still think about her and smile, though.

i still feel her on my lips.
