hi! maybe that's a common theory, or even common knowledge, but I am totally isolated from other deltarune theory content creators other than you and HalfBreadChaos (got so familiar and comfy with your takes on dr, that literally cannot listen to anyone else ><)

I was scrolling through Tumblr spamton art, and found this one by @\ratznatz

other than it being so darn majestic, I really like the take on the phone connecting two spamtons across time

and, this kind of fits so much with the timeloop theory, a mysterious entity in the phone tells spamton what to do, as if it knows the future and predicts success (and spamton has the shadow crystal, why shouldn't it be him?)

don't really want to ramble about what it means and what it explains, and stuff, because afraid to make a misconception - and you know better what implications it might have

the only puzzle piece that doesn't fit, or rather, isn't addressed - is that spamton as we know him now, doesn't seem to be talking with his old self on the phone

BUT, the part that past spamton stopped receiving these calls in the first place, fits well with spamton NEO being defeated in the timeloop some time ahead.

BUT, probably doesn't fit if player chooses not to fight the secret boss.
