so we got some leaks for the star guardian skins this year and im a little underwhelmed already (if the leaks are real, akali really does not fit this skinline, it feels like the crime city problem all over again) and honestly a champ like aurelion sol should be given the “first star” skin for obvious reasons (or riot should at least get creative with the possibilities for non-human champions in this skinline and not give another skin to a champ like leona again)

the riotxarcane event last year teased star guardian jhin, and that’s the only thing im looking forward to (ekko is apparently also getting a sg skin so that’s going to be nice too)

#star guardian #rambles #ik ppl are going to say but they made it work for other champs so why not akali but like #im not hating akali i just think theyre giving generically attractive human champs too many of these fun skins like #yes jhin and ekko are also handsome but u really feel their personality coming through #like how xayah and rakan worked really nicely in the corrupted sg skin theme - their personalities are also kinda weaved into their design #whereas like ahri mf and ezreal are just watered down versions of themselves as sgs #and this is coming from someone who absolutely adores mf #ik its supposed to be a fun skin line and im articulating this really badly but i just want them to make skins b/c they are unique #and interesting ways to explore the character in diff aus #rather than just pick the most popular or attractive hot female champs and slap a skin on them #like i dont have a problem with attractive champs like yall see me simping for swain all the time but like #its kinda disappointing when they come out with new skins and its always for the same champs
