ANNOUNCEMENT

Hey everyone. This post is kind of a long time coming. I’ve been thinking about this pretty much non-stop for the last two months.

Basically... I’m shutting down the blog. There are a lot of reasons. Lack of time, it not being as fun anymore, my current issue with digital art (i’ve gone primarily traditional at the moment), and other stuff.

The blog and the other blogs associated with it will remain up. I see no reason in deleting anything. In fact I’d like to keep it up if olny to reblog stuff from friends from time to time. IDK.

Anyways I’m moving back to my account with my personal and art blog on it. To my mutuals, if you noticed someone called Rastea following you recently, that’s me. I want to make sure I’m still following everyone I want to continue seeing work from. I’m not quite done with the follow move yet though.

Anyway, I’m moving on to other things. My own comics and art, etc.

I would have liked to at least wrap some things up. I may write up the basic storyline for Set in Stone later so you can at least see where I was going with it and why Rowan acts the way they do in certain situations. Maybe when I feel less dead inside, lol.

SO... yeah. That’s my announcement.

c!Tommy art for my cannon divergence dsmp au that doesn't yet have a a name :D

I know it might not really look like c!Tommy, but you'll just have to take my word for it. It's him :] Just him after spending a lot of time isolated under c!Dream's thumb.

What I will tell you about the AU, it is cannon divergent during the exile time. And it is very much inspired by some of my favorite dsmp fics/aus. Like you might notice the enchanted table words, that are inspired/taken from a-non-ymouswriter's fic "rewind" on ao3 (which if you know me you know I am not normal about^^) Another fic this au takes a lot of inspo from is lovelucigoosey's "Checkmate" series (which again if you know me, I am not normal about :D) This au still has a lot of thinking needed, but I just wanted to start getting some stuff out there :P More info and art for the au soon! (Helpfully 😅)

The Spirit of Hope's Comfort ✨

slight Rant , also contains slight spoilers for Madoka Magica;

The DSMP and Madoka Magica are two things that came into my life and helped me during difficult times. Both filled me with hope when I was feeling weak. I do feel thought that c!Tommy from the dsmp has had a substantial impact on me though, like nothing else. I have a bit of a complicated relationship with him, some people tell me it's unhealthy. But in the simplest words, when I say c!Tommy, and his story, I felt heard and seen. In a way I had never felt before. Both though cannon c!Tommy, and portrayals of him in fanfictions. And even as I try to get into new things, c!Tommy stays with me always. I am always thinking of him, and I will never forget or regret the dsmp and everything it brought me. I might sound crazy, but whenever I'm feeling sad, I think of c!Tommy, I feel like his spirit comes to me and tells me to hold on to hope. If c!Tommy can go through all he did and continue to get back up, continue to have hope and joy, then so can I. C!Tommy is so much more than just a character to me. He represents and stands for so much. I feel like I can see it in so many people. So many people have been hurt in some way in life, experienced something, or can just see themselves in c!Tommy, and in any and all of the dsmp characters. I view c!Tommy's impact on me much like how God!Madoka comes down and brings happiness, support, and relief to all magical girls. c!Tommy is not a god though, it might be cruel to make him out to be one. Always pushed, forced, and seen as the hero of the story, when all Tommy was was a kid. A Kid who tries his best and always holds hope, never gives up, not matter what the world, and c!Dream, throw at him. C!Tommy is not a god, but a symbol, saint, and spirit of hope. And so yeah that's what I wanted to draw. Tommy coming and comforting me when I need it, reminding me of hope and reviving it within me. Thank you if you've read this far/bothered to read ^^

(( Hey there everyone. Some of you may have noticed my lack of activity. I’ve been dancing around making this official for a while so... Well here we go. ))

(( For various reasons I’ve been feeling creatively drained and just cant really bring myself to draw during my free time. Hell I’ve pretty much been just... sleeping. Anyway... Part of that is school, part of it is other things. Either way I don’t see myself making any nice blog updates for a while until I push through this. ))

(( I still love this blog and the characters I’ve developed, that’s easy enough to tell from the fact that I’m still drawing everyone in my sketchbook when I’m at school. Pictures of that variety will continue to be posted over at my misc Undertale blog here: @fallen-in-thetrashcan . ))

(( I’m sure I’ll be back, this is basically my main tumbr blog I check anyway, haven’t touched my personal in like a year, lol. I still have a lot of ideas n stuff. The Set in Stone arc has still been in my head for a while I’ve just been... so tired.))
