I felt that way too! It’s so annoying. He’s never been known as Willy.

He had an affair 8 years ago! His wife at the time knew.  Nothing #metoo about it - the actress owned it, and admitted to  an affair with another man as well, all to get ahead in Hollywood *hmmm, wonder if she knows anyone that ryhmes with Reghan Rarkle?  

The woman never said a word, but he gave her a settlement anyway, and she moved on without anything but regret, and her own sense of responsibility in it, and she never went back to get anything from him - no one has ever even heard of her nor a peep about it.

THIS is where is gets odd -  Apparently a “third party” who knew from being in the same circle as the actress long ago -  and recently with a partner began to   blackmail him, he pays, they don’t destroy his reputation as an adulterer.  

He determined he had had enough - took the hit, revealed it all, and willingly took the removal of his position.  

He took his own power back, and away from the extortionist.  He isn’t perfect but good for him for picking honesty (even if creepy) over silence and fakery... he ended whatever secrets someone had over him - and betcha he sleeps well tonight  even if he gets thrashed - his ex wife knew about it and it was a private matter. 

Here is the GOOD PART!  NBC was rumored as a “backer” of Meghans, even how she became connected with Jen the jewelry designer who got her hand slapped by the RF - Meg threw her under the bus without a CARE.... pretty secure in doing that eh  Megs?  Was that you getting “backing” funds?  (Blackmail) 

Well, one gravy train down, few more to go!  Hope it is a trend -   it is bad when people would rather ruin their reputation and careers than ever deal with MM a blackmailer...

Farkle is BISEXUAL while Lucas is HOMOSEXUAL but doesn’t figure this out until he is 17+

I think (although I could be wrong) that the anon means who is the woman that had he affair with Ron Meyer had an affair with. Her name is Charlotte Kirk and she isn't well known, she's a z-list actress and has only been in a few movies that are probably straight to streaming.

Ah got it, I saw that too and no one came to mind. So thank you! Would be interesting though if he only had affairs with z-listers that were non-threatening given his own powerful position. Until a certain someone won the hook up lottery.

I’m holding out for some well-developed riarkle

throughout watching both seasons there are just moments of either foreshadowing or slow build, a casual line here or there that by itself seems like it means nothing, but when you compile all those casual lines/moments here or there and put them together, you get something.

some of the moments are silly, but could mean something more at a later date (in which I already imagine them using flashbacks to some of them on the pathway to riarkle)

and then some of the moments are touching and a sign of deep commitment

the three moments that immediately come to mind are

the yearbook episode where they both take on their “personas” and become dark and gloomy together. Like, they gelled so well in that episode that taken out of context people unfamiliar with the show might assume they’re boyfriend and girlfriend. That’s how together they felt to me.

Farkle realizing Riley was being bullied, not only because he knows what it’s like to be bullied but because he knows Riley well enough that he seems to know what’s going on with her before she tells anyone about it.

That same ability leads him to figure out she’s lying about her feelings for Lucas. Lucas and even Maya take her at face value when she’s insistent enough, but Farkle sees beyond that and doesn’t want her lying about her feelings because she shouldn’t have to.

i really think GMW would be missing out on some quality education and character development if they don’t take riley down the route of depression, and Farkle would be the perfect companion to help her through that.

i read somewhere about how Lucas and Riley don’t need each other, exemplified when they’re switching pairs for that school project and they both just agree all the time and don’t know anything the other doesn’t know, and literally say “why do i need you?”

Riley and Farkle have butted heads, and learned from each other and grown, and both challenge each other to become better people.
