June reads
This was another month of heavy reads but as they were good they were worth it. I usually read romance but I wanted to get back to some old favourites.
Each month I will be doing my favourite 5* reads of the month and this time there's two:
Property of the Mountain Man by Gemma Weir
Sinner's Anonymous by Somme Sketcher.
I get to meet both these authors in September at a book signing event so I also get to gush about their work.

Reviews going forward
In the next few months, I shall be reviewing slightly less as I will be attending a book signing convention. I have already read some of the attending authors but I have decided to hold off of reviewing them until I have met the authors and grabbed my (numerous) pre-orders. Pictures will be posted of the two day event as well as a overview of the signing.

Bound by blood
This is the first book in the Cauld Ane series that follows Sam, an american scientist who specilises in blood problems to the UK to work on a blood born illness affecting the sister of Kade, who is an Immortal Viking living in Scotland.
The premise to this is good but it felt rushed in some places and felt I felt that the world building could have been a bit better as I honestly thought that the Cauld Ane were vampires but it seems that they are just immortal vikings with no explanation of how they came to be like that?
Still it was an enjoyable book to read as an introduction the author.
