Raphiel instinctively wrapped his molting wings around Duch, protective as always. His arms wrapped snuggly around her waist to hold her close, his face scrunched up when she tickled his nose with his own feather.

"Well, yeah they can be used for art things as well. My feathers hold the same magic properties as the rest of my body so it wouldn't make much if a difference for me to consume a potion made with a feather of mine."

He had to think for a moment, he had tryed a potion made with his feathers before which is why he knew about how it doesn't affect him much.

"It didn't taste like me oddly enough, more like the ither ingredients in the potion."

It had been about two weeks since Raphiel had left back to the island for nation reasons. He was at Duchess's house now. He flew in from the island and if he was to be honest it took a good day or two to get there. Though Duchess wasn't home.

His current position in said house was sitting on the floor in sweatpants with his wings out as he preened them. Hair damp and sticking up in different angles from the shower he got out of about twenty or so minutes ago.

He was unaware of the feathers his wings had shed when he got to the living room. He was just aware that it was molting time for his wings and that they were itchy as all hell as old feathers made way for new pin featherd.

After this session of preening was done is when he noticed the trail of feathers he started cleaning up his mess. Only for more feathers to shed off his wing. This process went on for ten minutes before he gave up. He went back to the living room to lay in the nest of blankets and pillows he made while cleaning. Nestling in it, burying his face in Duchess's pillow which he snaged from her room.

He missed her immensely. He couldn't wait for her to get home so he could hold her and cuddle her again.

When Duchess came home from work and noticed the feathers strewn across the floor, she was confused at first. As far as she knew, she didn’t have a cat that could bring in such feathers.

She hung her coat up and put her bag down, picking up the feathers in the hall, she turned into the living room, seeing the pillow and blanket nest and Raphiel in the centre of it.

“Raph!” She grinned at the sight of him, and then noticed more feathers lying around the room. She frowned in puzzlement. “Why are there feathers all over the floor?” She started picking those up too.

“Are you thinking of going into archery? Because I don’t think the feathers should stay on the floor if so…”

Raph thinks for a second before an amused grin crosses his face.

"One time back in the sixteen tens, Uriel drank all of dad's beer and tryed to hide the fact he was drunk" Raphiel snickered before continuing. "When dad got back from hunting and found out the keg was empty he was pissed."

"Dad called us to him and immediately noticed that Uriel was drunk from the way he was stumbling around." Raphiel is clearly amused by this memory. "Dad interrogated all of us, dismissing Gabriel since he was to short to even reach the shelf that the keg was on."

"When dad was done 'throughly' interrogating us, he let us all go saying the he concluded that there was a leak in the keg." Raph snorted before continuing. "When Me, Lillith, and Kena asked why after Uriel stumbled off he said that he knew Uriel had drank it and that Cherub was going to have a wicked hangover tomorrow so that would be punishment enough."

"I mean yeah. Lillith, Kena, and I got in shit for not keeping an eye on Cherub. But it was fucking hilarious watching him stumble around and trip on his own feet made the extra hours worth of chores worthwhile."

Abilities-

Shifting; Raphiel can shift into the form of a raven

Appearance-

Raphiel is a man of above average height with short wavy black hair, red eyes, slightly pointed ears and sharp teeth. He has a scar over his right eye and on the left side of his lip. The is a partial decapitation scar on his neck which is usually covered like the rest of the scars littering his body. The is an intricate cross branding scar on his right hip.

Info-

Born to a Christian human father and a succubus mother. The father didn't know that she was such a being and loved her with all his heart. When she passed during the birth of their twins who looked nothing their father with their black hair and red eyes he called the demons, monsters for taking his love away from him.

Raphiels early memories are filled with abuse, the scent of blood, and the voice of Lillith crying out for their father to stop hurting him only for those to turn into screams of pain and begging thir father to stop hurting her.

One day Raphiel snapped. His father had beaten Lillith to the point that she was barely breathing and all he could see was red. Lunging at the man who had sired him and his sister, Raph tor into him with his little raven claws before stabbing him over and over with a knife he'd kept hiddenon his that day. Even when the man was dead Raph kept going for awhile longer.

That's when Rridar came in, hearing the sound of a knife entering and exiting flesh made him curious. Finding the small raven stabbing the dead corpse and covered in blood amused the bear until he saw the female raven on the ground a few steps off to the side.

From that day on Reidar was their father.

In his teen year(when his body was phisiclly 16-19) Raphiel was quite promiscuous. His succubus blood driving him and his thoughts as he laid one women after another, sometimes even more then one at a time. That was until he met a certain vampiress who's name was Echo Leola Rossi.

He felm head over heals for that young vampire. Trying to woo her any chance he got and failing each time. Eventually he gave up, though his heart yearned for her. That made it impossible for him to get into the mood for any bed related activities with women.

Until one day Echo approached him and asked to court him, which hit him like a fully loaded semi sliding kn black ice down a steep hill. Naturally he said yes, proceeding to do everything and anything she asked. But what of the women who were trying to get his affection? They were jealous as can be and doing everything they could to get Echo run out of town. They managed to that successfully but to their astonishment and disappointment Raphiel went with her.

Fast forward to the early 17th century and they have been mated(married). In 1709 they conceived children and were very happy, Raph made sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed. Making sure that she fed(drank his blood) frequently to keep her strength and to feed the baby's as well.

The tragedy hit. In 1710 Echo and the baby's passed in birth due to bloodloss. Raphiel was heart broken, depressed, and suicidal. Blaming himself for her death and vowed never to have another mate.

To this day he hasn't had another partner, any women who caught his interest he annoyed them to the point they told him he was annoying and to leave them alone as they hated him. Breaking his heart just like he wanted.

His younger twin sister Lillith has become his top priority as well as her son Saorr. As much as Raphiel desires to be a father to hatchling of his own and to have a loving mate to spoil and love... he doesn't want to feel the pain of loss again.

Patients- One way to win Raphiel is with patience. It'll also help with future development in the relationship. Which naturally means I'm going to go into detail about it.

After Echo died he blamed himself for causing her death by trying to have children with her. He never deemed himself worthy to have a mate or even a lover since. He's been celibate ever since Echos passing and that was in 1706.

So whenever he felt an attraction toward a women he annoys them by acting obnoxious and full of himself until they tell him of and break his heart with their words.

Since he's a cambion (he doesn't know his and Lillith's mother was a succubus) it hurts greatly when his heart is broken.

So if a women he fancies doesn't get snippy with him over the corse of him trying to get them to break his heart his walls will eventually crumble and he'll confess his love to them in hopes they'll reject him.

If they accept his love (for whatever reason) they'll have to be patient when it comes to affection as he hasn't done such things since Echo and is very rusty as results. He's going to end up being very old fashioned for awhile exspecaly with gifts, those are going to range from flowers and chocolate to hand made jewelry and delicious meals.

Like most of the Vittagarðr's, he isn't familiar with the monthly thing women go through that I like to call Shark Week. During that time he's unaware of potentially being yelled at and try to do anything to make his mates pain subside.

Hopefully his mate catches on soon and explains/teaches him what the monthly occurrence of mother nature taking potato peelers to their womb is so he can make himself of use. He'll actively ask her what she'll need and even fetch the women's care products needed, but she'll need to write it down for him or else he'll with buy every menstruation product under the sun.

As for bedroom activities... that's going to be a good few months to a year for him to be comfortable with. He's unaware of what condoms are and like most of the Vittagarðr males he most likely won't use them since they feel unnatural and uncomfortable to him.

So the pill or other female contraceptives will be the best way to go. He's willing to try anything she wants to try but he'll need some guidance and time to get a grasp on how to do it. There are styles of sex he'll be against that aren't just his dick being in his mates vagina (OH NoOoOo, I'm using medically correct terms for the male and female anatomy, Whatever shall we do~) that he'll have to be coaxed and warmed up to before he'll do it.

If his mate wants children they'll have to be incredibly patient with him on that and listen to him when he tells them he's afraid of what happened to Echo will happen to them.

Therfore, doing an essay/presentation/paper of sorts with information on how mother and infant survival is higher then it was back then, a lot of reassurance that what happend with echo won't happen to them since medical techniques have improved vastly since then, and convincing him that Echo's death wasn't his fault will do wonders for warming him up to being a father again.

Sydall, father of Laima- he is a very protective father but also very proud of her. Teaching her how to hunt and fight at a very young age when Azura wasn't around. He will do anything for his lucky star, his baby snow owl. Anyone who's ever tried to harm her has mysteriously disappeared. In fact he's the reason King Alduin vanished and was never found. He killed Alduin for decapitating Laima in the 18th century.

Ulfric, father of Osvald, Nora, Hugo, Nala, Dante, Jessie, Dexter, Talia, Harvey, Darrin, and Spencer' He is a very loving father. Though he did not know of the existence of Harvey and Darrin till the early 2000's and he's completely out of Spencer's life. He is still very loving and protective like his father. And even though Spencer was born in a time he wishes to forget, if she needed his help he would be there as quick as lighting. Litteraly.

Raphiel, father of twin stillborns- he would make possible the best father out of all these guys. Super tentative and caring with both the children and their mother.

Restus, father of Viola, Silvester, Hana, and Domink- he's a good father, not always there due to his work as a psychiatrist and a psychological professor but still a good dad. Always helping the little ones with what they need.

Sebastian, father of Leonid, Mishka, Laelette, Mercer, Jesibel, and Marshall- he is... well he's a neglectful father to say the least. Leo, Misha Lae, and Mercer rely more on Azura then theor own father while Jesibel and Marshall rely more on Restus then Sebastian. This is mostly due to the fact that his soul is also chained to the Golden Soul's of the holy lady St. Mary.

Uriel, father of Coraline, Helios, Selene, and Saor- he's a very overbearing and protective father. Exspecaly after Coraline died from illness in 1698. He wants to know what their plans for the day are every morning and works out schedules for them. Even for Saorr despite him not living in Uriels house.

Leonid(Leo), father of Mirabell- he is a very very protective father. Mirabell is not aloud to do so many damn things that he might as well smother her with a pillow at this point with how protective he is to keep her from leaving the house. Though he does hate how obsessively protective he is of her due to the fear of his mother kidnapping and killing Mirabell. He will allow her to go to friends houses as long as he's met them before and if Nico is with her.

Caspian, father of Asuka, Livius, Titania, Cináed, Piroska, Theodoric, and Sergius- very tired papa. His kids drain him of every ounce of energy he has. Though that doesn't mean he doesn't love them. Hell he would spoil them rotten if Zila didn't threaten for him to sleep outside or no bedroom fun time for three months if he were to spoil them.

Orion, father of Runa and Rune- ahhh look at myyyy little death puuuups. Dude has dad jokes for days like Ulfric. Very loving and protective, will eat anyone who hurts them.

Lycaon, father of Coyote- he... he doesn't know what he's doing. One day a women that he fed off of and slept with came up to him with a basket that held the little wolf shifter in it and shoved it into Lycaon's hand saying that it was his son and it was also his problem as she did not want the baby and left. When Azura was informed the lady went missing and later turned up brutally murdered. The younger draconic vampire is now just trying to figure out how tf one takes care of a tiny child.
