Nightingale Floors: Floorboards designed deliberately to squeak when stepped on to deter ninjas. Said to sound like chirping birds, or in this case, Casey Junior’s Nebulous Uncle-Dad Turtles.

As a gift to @somerandomdudelmao and myself after that one comment about the little turtles watching Casey Junior clamber on and cling to his “Master/Sensei” figures and having an “Oh he means Dad” moment.

They are having the turtle pile they deserve in the pillow-fort that was demanded when they found out Uncle Tello splurged on an obscene amount of cushions and installed Floor Heating and a Heat Lamp.

TMNT Night

DUDES. My dudettes.

So a former coworker and I finally got together and had TMNT day/night: I came over to her house and we both geeked out about TMNT for nine hours.

(It was AWESOME and I WILL be posting more!)

We watched Turtles Forever (which neither of us had seen in its entirety) then the Rise pilot, the 1980's pilot, The Rise Movie and then ended with the 1990 TMNT movie.

And I HAVE to share a moment from this 1990 movie, because I fricken lost my shit.

So, real quick, in the 1990 movie, RAPH is the one who gets thrown through a window and they have to escape to the farmhouse and recover.

And while recovering we're going through a montage of what everyone is up to, April narrates that Leo "has kept a constant vigil with Raphael."

And we see Leo, the worried, caring, vigilant older brother:

Such a good bro. Keeping watch over his injured sibling. And where is our poor, recovering ninja?
