you saw wild tiger cubs…? 🥹
I need to hear about themmm
GOD this is so late im so sorry 😶
it was during one of my family's india trips! we were visiting ranthambore national park, which is pretty famous for its wild bengal tiger population.
we went on 3 safaris, the first was in a big open roof bus - we didn't see any tigers that time presumably bc the bus is loud and lumbering, but we did see a lot of other cool animals like birds and whatnot. our next two safaris were in smaller jeeps that fit ~6 people. we saw one tiger on the first outing in the jeep, but it was on our last trip that we saw a mom tiger with three little cubs 🥺 i remember it was toward the end so we were losing hope, but suddenly our driver got really excited and floored it in reverse toward the edge of a cliff, which was a tad stressful lmao. then a little ways away we saw the tiger family crossing in front of us!
what i found interesting is that you can absolutely smell the tigers before you see them, it's just the strongest stench of blood and flesh. their camouflage is crazy though
#ask#til that i didnt know how to spell camouflage jfc#we also saw a mongoose on the second safari i think which was really exciting#anyways the pic is zoomed in so we weren't that close ofc but still close enough to see them really well without binoculars or a camera
