Ranite folded her hands neatly over the other setting them in her lap giving her ex-husband a long stare before glancing away. Blue eyes wandering for their son, who was now in his mid teens. It had been so long since they had sat down and had a civil conversation. A long moment of silence passed before she answered either of his questions. “It is not easy to hear such news but, yes I am genuinely happy for you.” she felt heartbroken, he had left Mossad his first love for this other woman..and he had been hellbent on some suicide mission from the get go when they were still married.

“Avi is outside playing...but you may speak with him when he returns. In the mean time, חבר, could I get you anything to drink? or something to eat?”

“You must be very excited to be having another child?”
