DIY Dinner

Between Russell Square & High Holborn sits South African restaurant Rangos Hot Stone Kitchen.  One of only two venues in London to serve a choice of fish or steak on a base of lava rock, heated up to 300 degrees. .  There was novelty in testing chunks of your meal, and re-heating as you continued to eat, there was no risk of your food going cold.  The fillet steak was the favourite, a quality cut that managed to stay tender despite the heat attack.  All mains served with chips or salad and dips.   Friendly staff, explained the blue bar downstairs has live music filling up at the later end of the week.   A fun experience where you can cook your own dinner, DIY style on your own personal purpose built oven.
