Since I’ve now drawn him again I’d just like to talk about how this character has been important to me for 8ish years at this point. I had always wanted to play Professor Layton when I was growing up but never got the chance to until I jumped into Ace Attorney followed immediately by PL right after. I learned about this character from an old friend of mine who sparked our friendship by roleplaying with me out of nowhere and they played the role of Randall. (I rp’d Apollo Justice) I was so infatuated with my friend that when we shared heartbreak with one another it made it hurt all the more when we stopped talking as a result. We had several reunions over the years, but I lost all sight of where they went 2 or 3 years ago. When my boyfriend played Unwound Future for me to watch his struggles it brought all these memories and feelings flooding back in. I felt exactly like Dimitri Allen with the whole desperately trying to bring someone that you once loved back thing and quickly exhausted all my resources of possibly finding them. I had spent a good week in complete despair thinking about how I’ll never hear from them again, it was a grieving period. I know people change, I know people move on, I hope that even if I never hear from you that you’re doing well.

Randall brings back fond memories and I’ll forever keep him in my heart.

I used to call the person I talked about Randork, I’ve compulsively referred to the character as Randork Bratscot still all these years later.

what if the reason Orko was banished was because he openly called Randor a jerk or "Randork"?

My knee jerk reaction to this for some reason was "oh, Orko would never say that!"

But Orko would totally say that! Orko has very little filter and he'd also be emotionally distraught and not thinking about the things he said.

continuing my Orko Headcanon, after Orko insulted him for banishing Randor , calling him "Randork" or "you are no better than Skeletor" Randor snaps and basically beats the crap out of Orko resulting in his sleeves being torn. he stops and calms down after Marlena begs him to. he orders his guards to throw Orko out, and mutters " If I see that imp again I'll rip him apart with my bare hands. "

I don't like this.
