i hc papa I as the most like an actual pope, or clergyman in general. Sticks closely to rules, traditions, and rituals, doesn’t like major changes, etc. I like to think that the revival of the Ghost project wasn’t his idea (he was content with solemn hymns within the walls of the church, and didn’t see much of a reason to spread their message*), but it was a very popular one, and his father also encouraged him to at least try.
Although everything went quite smoothly and they gained some traction, the life of a musician just wasn’t right for him. And so, he passed the mantle down to his younger brother.
In contrast, II preferred the rockstar life over his actual duties in the ministry**. Regardless, he played his part, brought the ministry further into the spotlight by meeting fans face-to-face in much smaller venues in between large shows, making friends within the industry, landing appearances on TV and interviews with major publications... And as soon as the opportunity presented itself, he happily passed the baton once more to the third.
III was just right. He loved the spotlight and performing, and he had none of his predecessor’s hangups about the ministry**. He pulled them fully into a new age, even going so far as to replace their old traditional vestments with far more stage-friendly attire. He brought life and energy that the first two didn’t, and became, by far, the most popular of the three.
..... And then Sister Imperator returned to the church after a long absence, and everything went tits up, as we all know.
Copia is.... A mystery. He plays the part he’s meant to. He plays it well. But whether that part is truly no more than the leader and figurehead of the ministry or something far more sinister remains to be seen... Whatever his plans are, they’re moving fast.
