Untamed Wardrobes (3/?) // Jiang Cheng + eps 25 - 28
More pictures, commentary, and general nonsense under the cut!
Just a little disclaimer before I get into it; i did play around with the colors of the outfit in the actual edit part of this post, so if you notice some differences in color between the pictures above and the pictures below, that’s why. The pictures posted under this read more have been edited to better show the details, but unless otherwise stated, the colors themselves have been left alone.
First things first, some full body shots! One of my favorite things about the clothing in this show is that it’s very flowy and there are multiple layers!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I believe the cape is detachable, as Jiang Cheng later throws it from his shoulders quite dramatically, but there is a small chance he simply ripped the fucking thing off, so I am keeping the (?) after detachable incase that is indeed what happened. One never knows with this lad.
Both the outermost and middle layer have slits in the skirt, which I imagine serve both a functional (ease of movement) and aesthetic purpose. The outermost layer is sleeveless and the middle layer has two buckles holding the upper part of it together. The bottom of the innermost layer is not a skirt, but pants. *Cue gratuitous shots of Jiang Cheng in naught but his undergarments*

bonus:
Tumblr media
(socks too big for he gotdamn feet)
Also, after taking approximately 50,000 screenshots of this outfit from episodes 25 - 28 I’ve come to the conclusion that he may have changed his undergarments sometime in between? The color seems slightly different and the necklines are different.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now in terms of him changing his undergarments, in real life it wouldn’t be surprising since time did pass in between these episodes, however if you’re a character then there isn’t really a need to change them... (aka nobody but someone taking way too many screenshots would notice the difference). I’m sure there’s a perfectly reasonable and boring explanation, but it just struck me as interesting lol. Anyways, enough about the man’s undergarments. Back to the outfit as a whole.
Tumblr media
(Pictured above: large, medium, and small Jiang Chengs)
In the first picture you can see a bit of his innermost layer peeking out, whereas in the third picture he has come to a halt, so the outermost layer is covering most of the other two layers. In the fourth picture he is walking quickly, so the top two layers are flapping about quite rambunctiously.
Now for some cape shots!
Tumblr media
First we have a view from the side, then a view from above while he’s mid-twirl, and lastly a view of the cape from behind. I believe the cape attaches beneath the purple fabric at the very top, as this piece remains attached to Jiang Cheng after he throws the cape off his shoulders. (See screenshots below)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
also i have a hypothesis that this is not the first time the man has dramatically flung a cape off of his shoulders, which leads me to question what then becomes of said capes.
option 1: the yunmeng jiang disciples are used to this particular habit of jiang cheng’s and pick up his capes for him once he’s walked away in a huff.
option 2: having someone pick up the cape ruins the drama of it all, therefore random capes can be found strewn across the land wherever jiang cheng has experienced an adverse emotion. he is single-handedly keeping cape-makers in business.
option 3: he sneaks back to retrieve his cape in the dead of night because he liked that cape but he also has a reputation to maintain :(
he sit

oh shit there he go

alright now for some detail shots! (feel free to open them in another tab to see them at their full size)

Hey there
Favourite fall out boy songs?
helloo this is quite random but im so glad you asked! Here’s my favorite song off of each album with my commentary aka me yelling incoherently about how much I love them:
Saturday - Take This To Your Grave - very predictable of me, I know but the youthful desperation in the song never fail to get me. It’s just SO GOOD.
Sophomore Slump or Comeback Of The Year - From Under The Cork Tree - this song feels like a more mature introspection of the band itself; they are more wary, more somber, but still filled with the anger and hope and drive to prove themselves.
Thriller - Infinity On High - oh man, it is just a perfect opening to the album like literally EVERYTHING in this song is perfect; Jay Z part at the beginning, the lyrics, the music, the heavy drum throughout the song get me so pump up, it’s just perfect. Not to mention that the song contains my favorite lines from any piece of media ever: “So long live the car crash hearts, cry on the couch all the poets come to life” like???? it’s so?????? how did they even come up with this????? IT’s SO
Disloyal Order of Water Buffaloes - Folie a Deux hoooooo boiiiiiiiiiiii im going to say it, this song? THIS SONG IS THE MAGNUM OPUS OF FALL OUT BOY ENTIRE DISCOGRAPHY i just, god!!!!!!!!!! the sheer hopelessness and anger and desperation in this song?????? “and I promise you anything for another shot at life”???? HOLY FUCKING SHIT???? this song just resonates with me so, so deeply.
Miss Missing You - Save Rock and Roll hahah who is even surprise here? this song? POETIC CINEMA, that is all.
The Kids Aren’t Alright - AB/AP - this one is very personal to me as I was going through some relationship stuff which consequently led to me discovering and getting into fall out boy. So this song will forever be associate with that certain time of my life and certain stuff that happened and how it helped me get through that. The song itself is so very bittersweet and nostalgic. It will always hold a special place in my heart.
Bishops Knife Trick - MANIA - not to be dramatic or anything but THIS IS PURE POETRY, POETRY!!!!!! the intensity of the music, calm but heavy and intense, like it is going to burst from keeping it all inside, and the lyrics!!!!! so much!!! longing and heartache and just, PURE WANT but also with this acceptance and resignation that this is the end, and all things will never return to the way they were. This song hurts in the worst and the best possible way.
ok im done now, this is unnecessary long lmao im sorryyyy

Zack Snyder's Justice League Review!
Tumblr media
Zack Snyder's Justice League dir. Zack Snyder (2021) Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Films, Atlas Entertainment and The Stone Quarry Science Fiction, Action, Superhero Movie
Rating: 3.5 Waves
Tumblr media
Summary: Tormented by visions of a dark future, Bruce Wayne aka The Batman attempts to gather a team of superheroes to defend the planet. When alien tyrant Steppenwolf arrives on Earth seeking a long forgotten technology, this group of heroes must do everything in their power to keep him from locating all three Mother Boxes and destroying the world.
Content warnings: Violence, Death, Body Horror, Gore
This review DOES NOT contain spoilers for Zack Snyder's Justice League
A bit of background for those of you thinking “Didn’t Justice League come out years ago?” You are exactly right! Justice League was released in theaters in 2017 and is the fifth movie in the DCEU (DC Extended Universe). The same company that produced Justice League then funded Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) which is a different version of the story that was released in 2017. Zack Snyder was actually the original director of Justice League (2017), but he stepped away from the project during post production and the film was handed over to director Joss Whedon. Whedon’s creative decisions led to rewrites, heavy editing and a notorious reshoot that required removal of Henry Cavill’s mustache via CGI. Therefore, Justice League as it premiered in theaters in 2017 was Joss Whedon’s vision of the story. As some of you might remember, Justice League (2017) was considered a “flop” as it lost the studio ~$60 million overall and was received by fans with mixed to negative reviews (6.2/10 IMDB, 40% Rotten Tomatoes). But since Zack Snyder had left so late in the project, there were rumors that his version of the film had been nearly finished and there was hope that the movie Snyder filmed was actually better than what Whedon had created. Fans took to social media to demand that Warner Bros release the “Snyder Cut'' of Justice League and in a move I personally find baffling, Warner Bros actually gave Zack Snyder another $70 million to finish his version. Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) which was released on HBO Max is the final product.
Tumblr media
While understanding the context of how this movie came about is neat and honestly pretty hilarious, I never got around to see Justice League (2017) so I cannot give any commentary on whether this new film is any better. For those who are curious, my fiancée who has seen both says that the movies are extremely similar in plot, but there are significant changes to characterization and pacing. This review will solely be on the merits and shortfalls of Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) in a spoiler free context since the movie was released just over a week ago (if you want to talk spoilers DM me I have So Many Thoughts).
Honestly, I was surprised how much I enjoyed this movie. My expectations were quite low considering what I heard about the original 2017 version and the fact that I’m more of a Marvel fan. The most surprising thing for me was that I sat through the entire 4 hr and 2 min runtime (for reference the runtime for Justice League (2017) is 2 hrs). Aside from Lord of the Rings (Return of the King runtime 4 hr 11min), I usually don’t indulge in movies that require me to block off an entire day, but I was curious and I love bandwagons.
The highlight of this movie are the characters. Each of our main characters had a deep, solid backstory that drew me in and made me invested in what was happening in this world. One thing lacking in a lot of ensemble superhero movies is balanced screen time between the main cast, but Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) uses its time wisely to give each character depth and critical purpose in the narrative. Even the villain had compelling motivation as to why he is on earth doing dastardly deeds, and while I wasn’t rooting for him, I respected his motivations. I also appreciated that the writers of this movie made the characters intelligent. Sure, some decisions were driven more by emotion than logic, but the way defenses are set up and how our heroes use their unique powers left me incredibly impressed.
Tumblr media
The characters’ interactions with each other was also very enjoyable. Snyder took the time to include scenes centered around the team chilling with each other in ways that were refreshingly low stakes and mundane. The story was interspersed with scenes like Wonder Woman and Alfred making tea, Aquaman and Wonder Woman musing over cultural differences, and Cyborg and Flash digging up a body where you could really see the characters grow from strangers to teammates to friends. These scenes also peppered in some light humor that kept the movie from becoming too dark without distracting from the tone.
Tumblr media
Since Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) is technically an action movie and it is rated R, I feel like I should touch on the action sequences. Overall, the action was incredibly fun to watch! It was made for the big screen so watching the epic battles for the first time on my TV at home was a bit underwhelming, but the well choreographed, high stakes fights were still visually pleasing. For a rated R movie there was not as much gore as there could have been, which I appreciated and the level of violence was pretty much what I expected from a comic book movie.
Tumblr media
The action scenes also do a fantastic job with power escalation. By that I mean the action illustrates the limits of one character’s power clearly in relation to other characters’ powers. This way you are aware of exactly how impressive the characters and their powers are on their own and so when someone or something stronger shows up we have context for how big of a threat we are dealing with. The clean way the story shows us everyone’s respective powers and their limits makes it so the stakes feel more tangible and it's not just unfathomably strong characters beating the shit out of each other with the winner decided by chance.
There are a few reasons the movie didn’t get a full five waves from me. First was that the Amazon’s outfits were very clearly made by horny men based on how much skin they were showing. I, a bisexual, personally love to see superheroes in less then full coverage, but when the Amazon warriors have their entire stomachs and cleavage out of their armor for no reason it exhausts me. What happened to the tasteful and stylish armor from Wonder Woman (2017)? This feels like a step in the wrong direction.
Tumblr media
The next concern I have that has kept me from recommending this movie to people is the overall pacing and length. While there were some great uses of the extended run time like the action sequences and team bonding I mention above, there were so many scenes that were way too slow for me to stay engaged. I found myself editing the movie in my head, like did we really need 2 full minutes of Bruce Wayne and his horse climbing a dreary mountain? I don’t think so. This was a narrative where I needed to pay attention lest I miss critical pieces of the story, but the random scenes that dragged on too long had me going to get snacks and checking my phone throughout. If I could rate the movie by halves the first half would get 2.5 Waves because of how it dragged and the second half would get closer to 4.5 Waves since the story really picks up and fun things start to happen.
Tumblr media
The final part of this movie that kept it from getting a higher rating was how closely it was tied to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In fact, the first scene of Zack Snyder's Justice League is the final scene of Batman v Superman. There were many plot critical tie-ins to previous movies that left me feeling confused until I googled my questions during the slow scenes. If you have never seen Batman v Superman or Man of Steel then you will miss a lot of this movie, which I thought was unfair because other DCEU movies came out before the first iteration of Justice League like Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad and while events in those movies are mentioned in passing they are not nearly as important as the Batman and Superman-centric films. If the DCEU is going to pick favorites, the least it can do is pick movies I actually like (Wonder Woman (2017) remains my favorite DCEU movie to date). In general, superhero movies seem to be trending toward sagas and I prefer movies that you can just watch and enjoy without needing to see a bunch of other movies first.
Overall, I did very much enjoy this movie, but based on the run time alone it is not going to be for everyone. Measuring movie success during the pandemic is trickier than looking at box office numbers and labeling it a success or a flop, but it does appear that Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) is doing well as far as critical reception and viewership. I hope that this success will allow the DCEU to explore all of the fun nooks and crannies of the universe Snyder pulled together. In fact, half of the epilogue of this movie felt like set up for future movies. I hope they come to fruition because there were some pretty compelling teasers at the end that I would love to see played out on the big screen.
Tumblr media
As I mentioned before, I’ve never seen the original cut of Justice League, but Snyder’s version left me fulfilled and satisfied with the narrative, so I am happy to have seen this newest cut first. This is a movie for people who love DC, love superhero movies or are just really invested in the hype.

Aaaah yay! The third installment in my series of oneshots inspired by each song on Harry’s album. I think this is one of my favorite pieces of writing so far so I hope you all enjoy it. Normally I try and leave the woman unnamed, but that just wasn’t going to work for this piece. I hope this is still just as enjoyable regardless!
Let me know what you think, and if you have any requests for future oneshots, you can ask me HERE.

Libraries are magical places. Stacked with hundreds upon hundreds of stories and musings and ideas and discoveries from people all over the world, all who have lived at different times, in different places, and had different experiences. And there is that wonderful library smell; a little stale perhaps, but warm, and dry, and inherently comforting. The library at Oregon University was no exception. It was housed in a big, old, wooden building, with a high ceiling and a plentiful stash of comfy, eclectic cushions for curling up on. There was even a tea and coffee table, which was kept well stocked by an ancient librarian, who had belonged to library for as long as anyone could remember.
It was her favorite place. She sighed, running a finger lightly up and down her favorite book, willing herself to pick something else to read instead of reading the same thing for what would be the twentieth or so time. She pulled it from its cozy residence, nestled between two other equally as wonderful novels, and she smiled to herself as she looked down at the familiar cover. ‘The Great Gatsby’ by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Not the first book she had ever read, but the first book she had ever fallen in love with. For her, it was the perfect story. Historically informed, intelligent, with good political commentary and an honest, raw, and yet charming love story; it had everything.
Hearing the bells chime to indicate the end of the lunch period, she slid the book back into it’s perfectly shaped slot, closing her eyes and picking a book at random. She didn’t even look at the cover, scanning it out under her name and hurrying out of the library towards the lecture theatre of her next class.
The sun was stark and a little too bright compared to the soft, dim lighting of the old library, and her forehead crinkled as she squinted ahead, eyes searching for the closest entrance into the building before her, determined not to be late as she almost habitually often was. She darted ahead as she made her decision, hurrying through her chosen door and down the corridor into the lecture theatre, fingers tearing anxiously through her head of curls as she tried and failed to push them out of her face. They were unruly curls, big and wild and untamable, and while she loved them dearly, they all too often got in her way.
“Miss Jones,” she heard, freezing on the spot, swivelling reluctantly to face the direction of the cold voice. “This is the third class you’ve been late to in two weeks. This is unacceptable. I will not give you another warning. Sit down.”
She nodded, redness creeping up her neck and across her cheeks, her face burning with embarrassment as she tried and failed to avoid the eyes of the other ninety students craning their necks to get a look at girl who had caused the disruption.
She sunk down into her chair, pulling out her heavy stack of books and placing them down as quietly as possible on the table in front of her, hiding behind them as she pulled out her beloved notebook. It was stacked with pages upon on pages of scrawled notes, all in her same, delicate but slightly messy hand-writing. Pretty much every other student had a laptop and took notes by typing, and while she did own a laptop, she preferred to write things out by hand. In many ways, she was incredibly old-fashioned, still reading books, still writing things by hand, still listening to music which had long been forgotten about by a majority of the twenty-first century. She liked it that way, it made her feel separate from the rest of the world and gave her a place to escape to.
She scribbled a couple of her constantly whirring thoughts down before peeking up over the books to try and catch herself up with where they were up to in class.
“...and so without further ado, I welcome Harry Styles, who will be joining us for this lecture to speak about global marketing and pr, and developing an image,” she caught, eyes widening slightly as the familiar figure of the famous musician sloped into view.
She took him in, his Rolling Stones t-shirt and tight black jeans, hair falling a little over his forehead in soft, brown curls, fingers decorated with a multitude of chunky rings. He was beautiful, she couldn’t deny that. But what on earth was he doing here? This was supposed to be journalism, not public relations. Her lecturer had probably just been thrilled to have someone this high profile agree to speak despite his obvious lack of knowledge in the journalism department, she supposed. So, she resigned herself to listening to whatever drabble this boy was going to conjure up, sighing frustratedly as she thought about how quickly she had rushed to hear someone speak about something so incredibly irrelevant.
She was pleasantly surprised by his talk as it turned out. Sure, she still didn’t quite see how it fit into the curriculum of her degree, but his delivery was engaging, and she was captivated by his slow, English drawl. It sounded like melting butter and golden syrup to her ears, each syllable washing over her, almost melodic. She could’ve fallen asleep listening to that voice.
All too soon it was over, and he was thanking the class for having him, the bell in the distance indicating the end of the lecture period. She was startled from her trance, clearing her throat as she scrambled to pack up, hoping to catch him before he left the room. She stumbled down the stairs, steadying herself before heading in his direction, hanging back while he talked to a couple of his other (female) classmates. They were practically gushing over him and it took everything in her power not to roll her eyes as she let out a quiet but impatient sigh. She noticed how well he handled their babbling, smiling appreciatively and nodding at their words, even taking a couple of pictures before sending them on their way. She cringed as they erupted into squeals the second they were clear of the room, shaking her head as she stepped towards him.
“Hey,” she murmured, offering him a winning smile.
“Oh-” he mumbled, clearing his throat. “H’lo,” he answered, smiling back at her.
His reaction had caught her off guard, immediately self-conscious.
“What?” she asked quickly, her eyes searching his for an answer.
“Sorry... Sorry love, s’just... Your eyes. They’re beau’iful,” he smiled.
“O-oh,” she blushed, giggling nervously. What kind of laugh was that? She was never nervous. Trying desperately to push her newly acquired nerves to the side, she smiled back, swallowing before continuing. “I... Look, I just wanted to thank you for coming and speaking to us. Truth be told... Well... I dunno, I wasn’t sure what to expect, and while I don’t think anything you’ve told me is going to propel be towards being a journalism success,” she giggled, encouraged to continue by the smile playing on his lips. “I really loved listening to what you had to say. You made me want to get a coffee with you and pick your brain. I feel like we’d talk for hours,” she finished, looking up at him. She was being completely honest; there was something about him that intrigued her, and judging by the genuine smile he was offering her, he had taken her words as a compliment.
“How about a beer instead of a coffee?” he answered coolly, his smile turning to a smirk before she had a chance to even blink. She took a second to answer, nodding slowly before speeding up.
“Beer sounds great. Meet me by the Fenton building at 8pm. I’ll see you then,” she said, pressing a kiss to his cheek before leaving the lecture hall, her eyes widening at her own brazen offer, letting out a deep breath as she rounded the corner.
##
She hurried towards the Fenton building, glancing at the time on her phone. 8:12pm. Aka, late. Aka, late for a mysterious date with a beautiful, famous musician. She rounded the corner of the big brick building, breathing a sigh of relief as she spotted his tall figure leaning against the wall, engrossed in the screen of his phone, which was throwing a little light onto his stunning features. She made her way towards him, letting out a breathless “Hello,” and pressing her second kiss of the day to his cheek.
“Hey you,” he smiled, his hand naturally finding hers. Her palm felt small in his, and she could feel his rings against her skin, warm from his own body heat.
“Y’know where we’re goin’?” he asked, his accent filling her ears, reminding her of his earlier presentation.
“Oh yeah,” she replied, grinning and giving his hand a little squeeze as she lead him towards the sorority district.
“Y’gonna tell me?” he tried again, hoping for a proper answer.
“Oooh no,” she giggled shaking her head as she practically skipped towards the huge house nestled right in the centre of the district.
She could hear the sounds of music and chatter and her heart skipped a bit. House parties were one of her favorite parts of her university experience so far. She studied hard and got good grades, in fact she was one of the highest achievers in her year much to the dismay of her head lecturer, who couldn’t wrap his head around how she could be so consistently late and yet so consistently onto it with her studies and the work she presented him with. All that aside, the parties were what she loved. Everyone getting together from all across the campus, chatting and laughing and drinking together. It was a wonderful melting pot of people and their experiences, and she lived for it.
Usually these parties were reserved only for the students in their third year of study, but she had a way with people, and it only took worming her way into the first couple before she was let into them all, no questions asked. This one was no exception, and she was excited to show Harry a little bit of the university life that she assumed he was missing out on. Sure, this was no high profile event packed to the brim with famous faces, but it was fun, and it was stupid, and it was completely unmissable.
She practically dragged him up the stairs to the front door, people spilling out of the door and onto the balcony, with a couple of stragglers smoking on the lawn, and she was relieved to see that pretty much everyone was so caught up in their own inebriation to notice the famous musician she was guiding into the house.
Warm, cheap beer in stereotypical red cups was thrust into their hands, as if they were mandatory upon entry, and she turned, pressing her cup to his before tipping the liquid back, swallowing the whole lot in a few quick gulps.
“WOOH!” she yelled, tossing the cup to the side and giggling as she turned back to him.
She pulled him towards the source of the noise; two large, booming speakers, and he couldn’t help but grin as she tugged him into the jumble of drunk bodies, wrapping his arms around her waist as the pair began to dance. The next couple of hours flew by in a haze of more warm beer in red cups, shitty house music, and ridiculous dance moves, and she hadn’t had this much fun in such a long time. Harry seemed completely comfortable in what must have been an unfamiliar situation for him, dancing and laughing and drinking with her.
“Good song,” she yelled sarcastically, giggling as he rolled his eyes in response, his hand pulling her close, clutching on to her waist.
“You’re fuckin’ beau’iful, Miss Jones,” he grinned, mocking her lecturer’s accent as he gazed down at her.
“Shut up,” she giggled, shaking her head as their faces inched closer together.
And then, before she had a chance to tease him back, his lips were were on hers, kissing her hard and slow. She kissed him back, eager to feel more, her hands running over his torso before one found his hair. His tongue nudged against her lips and she granted it permission, parting them slightly, moaning into his mouth as their tongues slotted together. He tasted like cheap beer and chewing gum and... something unrecognizable. Something inherently Harry. His hands slid up under the back of her shirt, tugging it out from the waist of her short skirt in the process, her skin tingling wherever he touched her. She broke away reluctantly, breathless as she looked up at him.
“C’mon,” she murmured, finding his hand and leading him back through the crowd and up the stairs.
She pushed open a couple of the bedroom doors, unable to find one that didn’t already contain a preoccupied couple. She hesitated, turning to look up at him, her eyes narrowing as a cheeky grin spread across her face.
“You ever done it in a bathroom?” she murmured.
He gulped, smirking at her words and shaking his head slowly.
“First time for everything!” she practically sang, pulling him into the vacant bathroom and shutting the door behind them, making sure to lock it before turning her attention back to Harry.
“C’mere,” he murmured, pulling her in by her waist and pressing his lips to hers once more.
She moaned softly into the kiss, her hands slipping up under his shirt to feel the warm skin of his back before travelling to the button of his jeans, popping it open with ease and unzipping the fly, never breaking the kiss. Harry’s hands had slid up to her clothed breasts and he could feel her nipples hardening under his thumbs as he stroked over them. He broke the kiss, their faces close and breathing quick.
“Let’s gey this off, yeah?” he whispered, gently tugging the shirt over her head and dropping it to the side.
Her breasts were bare under the fabric and Harry’s eyes widened as he took them in, drinking in the sight of the beautiful, exposed girl before him.
“Fuck,” he mumbled, hands running over the newly naked skin.
She shivered at his touch, her eyes closing for a moment before she dropped to her knees, tugging his jeans down to his ankles and pushing him against the edge of the bathroom vanity. He watched her, eyes dark and lip bit, his skin burning with every touch from her delicate fingers. She looked up at him, eyes wide, never breaking their gaze as she tugged his boxers down as well, his erection popping up against his stomach. He groaned at his new freedom, his balls aching as he anticipated her touch. She finally tore her eyes from him to focus on his hard length, breathing a soft “wow,” out as she took him in.
“Packing some heat, huh babe,” she giggled breathlessly.
She licked a slow stripe up the underside of his cock and his knees buckled slightly, desperate for more. She took his pink, swollen head into her mouth, licking her tongue around it before pushing him slowly all the way to the back of her throat. This was quite a feat, and yet she had achieved it so easily, her hands gripping his thighs as her head started to bob. He was wide and hot in her mouth, and while it was a struggle to take him so deeply, his moans were more than enough to encourage her to continue. He pushed a hand into her hair, gripping at her soft curls, his other hand wrapped around the vanity to steady himself. He tipped his head back, moaning a little louder now as she sped up.
“I... Baby... P-please... Gonna c-cum,” he stuttered, moans catching in his throat as the sensation took over his entire body.
With that, she popped off him, wiping her mouth as she looked up at him. “Fuck me,” she murmured.
He didn’t need any further encouragement as he lifted her up off the floor so she was standing, crashing their lips together once more. His hands slid under her skirt and he broke away at his sudden realization.
“No knickers?” he asked, although he already knew the answer. She shook her head, smirking cheekily at him. “Fuck,” he breathed, his hand moving to cup her pussy. It was warm and a little damp and she moaned at his touch, legs parting a little to grant him better access. He slipped a finger between her folds, sliding it over her entrance before dragging her arousal up to her clit, circling it slowly.
“Oh,” she mouthed, her hands finding his shoulders, hips moving a little against his finger.
“You’re all wet,” he murmured, pressing a kiss to her neck as his finger continued to move, working against the little bundle of nerves.
“Mmm,” she hummed, head tilting to expose more of her skin. He sucked a little mark just above her collar bone before pulling back, his finger stopping it’s movement as his hands pushed up under her skirt to rest on her waist.
“Turn around,” he instructed, his voice gentle but stern.
She obeyed, turning to face the vanity, her hands naturally finding it’s edge. She stared back at herself in the mirror, hair messy, chest flushed, skirt pushed up to just under her chest, nipples hard and breasts exposed, and Harry. Glorious, beautiful, wonderful Harry, his lips pressed to her shoulder as he lined himself up.
“Condom?” he mumbled against her skin.
“M’on the pill,” she managed, finding his eyes in the mirror.
“Good,” he murmured, hooking a hand behind her knee and guiding it up so it was resting on the ledge of the vanity. His cock nudged against her, and he rubbed it against her clit before guiding it back to her wet entrance. “Okay?” he asked, pushing in slowly at her nod. She whimpered at his size, thankful that he seemed to give her a second to adjust before beginning to thrust slowly.
“F-fuck” she moaned, his hands moving to rest beside hers as he found a rhythm, picking up his pace slightly.
He was hitting places she didn’t even know she existed and she was so turned on, her eyes watching everything in the mirror. It was so hot to be able to see herself like this, and she was sure that just the pure sight alone could make her cum.
Harry wasn’t having any of that though, and he fucked up into her hard and fast, losing all inhibitions as the pair lost themselves to their own lust, moaning and whimpering simultaneously.
“C-close,” she stuttered, new waves of pleasure rolling over her as his fingers found her clit once more, rubbing quickly, a stark contrast to his earlier, slow and controlled circling.
That, combined with the hard, fast thrusting of his length against her g-spot quickly threw her over the edge and she came hard, her orgasm hitting her like a tonne of bricks. It felt so good that little tears welled in the corner of her eyes.
“Baby,” Harry breathed, his arm wrapping around her waist to support her trembling frame. His movements slowed as he gave her a little moment to recover, his lips kissing any and all of the skin he could find.
“Good girl,” he soothed between kisses, hips still moving slowly.
His own orgasm was gaining on him, and he began to push a little faster, picking up the pace once more. She felt so full of him and satisfied and exhausted and happy, and she could do nothing but moan softly as he got closer to his own release.
“M’gonna-” he stammered, and her hands found his arms, rubbing them gently.
“Cum baby,” she murmured. “Cum inside me.”
That was enough to send him over the edge and he came deep inside her, legs shaking and head dropping to her shoulder as his orgasm rolled over him.
His thrusting slowed and then stopped, and the pair stayed in the close embrace for a moment as they caught their breaths, chests heaving and bodies clammy. Eventually, he pulled himself from her gently, his cum slowly dribbling out of her and down her thigh. She turned in his arms, pressing a lazy kiss to his lips and then his jaw before nuzzling against his still-clothed chest, a satisfied grin on her face.
“Wow,” he chuckled, hands moving up and down over her bare back.
“Wow,” she repeated, eyes flickering shut as they both enjoyed the moment.
##
After recovering from their bathroom experience and getting dressed once more, the pair had made their way slowly back to her dorm room. She was thankful that she had both a room to herself and double bed, and the pair had climbed under the duvet, losing themselves under it in a tender dance of hands and skin and kisses, breaking only to giggle softly and look at each other.
“Y’know, we never really did much talkin’” Harry noted, speaking the first words either of them had said since they’d climbed into bed bed, a finger stroking along her cheek.
She nudged against his hand, pressing into his touch. “Guess not,” she paused, her eyes finding his. “I just... Well. I dunno. I kinda feel like I already know you,” she whispered.
Harry smiled, pressing a soft kiss to her lips. “I know what you mean. I don’t want to leave you tomorrow,” he murmured.
Tomorrow. Of course. He had to leave tomorrow. This was a one night only deal. Fuck. She sighed, nuzzling in against his chest, her hands trailing over his side.
“I don’t want you to leave either. But... I dunno. Sometimes this kind of thing is cool. Like... The universe is just giving us this one, special night and... We’ve just got to take it and accept and move on,” she murmured, losing herself slightly in her own musings.
Harry hummed in response, her words repeating in his mind. It went quiet for a few minutes, but it was a comfortable quiet, the pair pressed close together, listening to each others breathing.
“Hey,” Harry started, his voice breaking through the silence. “I never even found out your first name, Miss Jones,” he smiled, meeting her eyes as she looked up at him.
“Ah well. I guess some things you’re never meant to find out,” she smiled a little sadly, before nuzzling back against him, the pair drifting slowly off to sleep.
##
Curly brown hair. Same skinny jeans. Same rolling stones t-shirt. Same big hands and chunky rings. Surely not. No way. She forced her gaping mouth shut, her brow furrowed and eyes squinting as she tried to work out if it was really him. Harry Styles. She hadn’t seen him in four years, hadn’t seen him since their one, wonderful night together. Four years of replaying that magical night over and over, four years of thinking of all the things she should’ve said, four years of missing a person she never even had. And then here he fucking was. Standing in her coffee shop, in her neighbourhood, as if four years ago was yesterday.
He took his coffee, thanking the barista before turning, his eyes meeting hers, his own widening as he recognized her.
“Fuck me!” he murmured, stepping towards her, leaving his coffee abandoned on one of the many tables in the little shop. He quickly closed the gap between them and wrapped his arms around her waist, almost lifting her off the floor as he hugged her tight.
“Miss Jones!” he exclaimed as he set her back down, pulling back to get a better look at her. He remembered her name. Or at least, the only name he ever knew of her.
“Townes,” she smiled, her arms still looped loosely around his neck. “My name is Townes.”

Star Trek: The Next Generation: Season 2
-Greetings and welcome to my continued logs of my chronological voyages through the seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation (TNG). Click here to catch up with my entry on season one. It would be hard to tell by looking at the number of episodes in season two of TNG, but a writer’s strike in 1988 delayed the season premiere by a few months which resulted in them rarely taking many weeks off afterwards to finish the season off with a regular slate of 22 episodes. -I want to kick things off by mentioning the changes to the cast this season. The primary addition to the show is William Riker (Jonathan Frakes) now sporting the most dashing beard in all of TV history! Gone is the incapable Dr. Crusher (Gates McFadden). Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) gave the official plot reason in the season premiere for her removal being so she could help train new recruits at Starfleet Academy. Replacing her is Dr. Pulaski (Diana Muldaur). From the first two seasons I thought Pulaski was a far superior character than Crusher, and Muldaur delivered a strong performance throughout the season with her standing up to Picard better than Crusher and Pulaski having some entertaining supporting arcs with Worf (Michael Dorn) throughout the season. Apparently there was enough fan outrage for this swap that the powers that be brought her back the following season.
Other cast changes is Geordi La Forge(Levar Burton) transferred from helmsmen to his more recognized role as the primary engineer for the remainder of the series. Transporter Chief Miles ‘O Brien (Colm Meaney) is now a more frequent recurring character after only making a few miniscule appearances in the first season. Finally, I will give a big hoo-rah to the addition of the bartender Guinan (Whoopi Goldberg) to the new lounge in the Enterprise, Ten-Forward. I forgot how legit awesome Whoopi was as an actress at this time and how much I loved her in the show as a kid and I recall at that time being intriguingly mystified with her unique hats and attire. She absolutely steals every scene she is in as she lays down her wisdom to various Enterprise crew seeking advice. She is only a recurring character however and only goes on to appear in four or five episodes a season which is only more reason for her guest spots to standout each time she is on. -A big improvement this season is dialing back on Counselor Troi (Marina Sirtis) and Wesley Crusher (Wil Wheaton). Troi was written too over-the-top with her obvious telepathic deductions last season, and they are used far more effectively and sparingly in season two. Wesley Crusher is less annoying too as he settles in his role on the Enterprise and starts to gain more responsibilities. Both characters have a couple episodes where they are in the primary story arcs, but for the most part they are now more supporting roles. -Season two of TNG sees the addition of the occasional poker scene that became one of the trademarks of the series. Having the infrequent poker game and scenes transpiring at Ten-Forward were a recurring treat where we got to see the Enterprise crew relax and fraternize for a breather from the serious threat of the week. One of my favorite scenes of the season is where Riker teaches Wesley how to talk to women after engaging in a sample of flirting with Guinan that winds up going to a whole new level to the dissatisfaction of Wesley.
-A few other random favorite moments and scenes from the season feature Picard and Wesley stuck with each other on a shuttlecraft for several hours playing out exactly how I wanted it to. Data trying to best a grand master at the fictional game ‘strategema’ was fascinating for its similar parallels to the cancelled Wii Vitality Sensor and having a computer AI trying to best grand chess masters several years later in the 90s. The fictional futuristic version of joust Riker and his father engage in is so over-the-top cheesy I could not help but crack up throughout it! -Hats off to some good Worf episodes this season where the Enterprise crew team together to throw a holodeck klingon ceremony to Worf’s surprise and Worf mastering a plan to avoid a battle with a klingon ship. I was initially trepid with the holodeck episodes in the first season, but they won me over with the batch of holodeck-centric episodes in season two where Picard relives the adventures of one of his favorite PIs, and the crew has a memorable encounter with one of Sherlock Holmes’ top adversaries.
-The most standout episode of the season is ‘Q Who,’ the only Q (John de Lancie) episode this season where he introduces the Enterprise to the Borg (AKA Space Zombies). It is a tremendous introduction for what would become one of the Enterprise’s top antagonists for the run of TNG. From what I can recall for what I saw so far in the first two seasons, ‘Q Who’ is also the first episode of TNG to have an engaging back and forth dogfight between two space vessels that were some of my more prominent childhood memories of the show. It was also the first episode of TNG where they fired the vintage ‘Photon Torpedoes’ artillery of the Enterprise. If you have to watch just one episode of season two, make sure it is ‘Q Who’ because it is a big hint at what to expect of the rest of the series. -For as improved as season two is over the premiere season I would be remiss to not mention there are still a few dud episodes cluttering up season two. The episode where the Enterprise encounters a mute negotiator is a challenge and a half to get through, while another has the Enterprise taking on a group of refugees overflowing with Irish stereotypes. Due to the nature of the strike before the season, it resulted in budget cuts and there are some episodes where it is apparent where the cuts were made with the primary case in point being the season finale being a clip show. According to the behind-the-scenes interviews it was met with such disdain it resulted in being the only clip show of the series. -I do not know if many of you dear readers are keeping up with Seth McFarlane’s lighthearted homage to TNG, The Orville on FOX. As long as you can tolerate Seth’s over-the-top brand of humor, it is an entertaining take on TNG. A season two episode of TNG saw Riker teaching Wesley leadership lessons for his first assigned team he was in command of. Ironic timing a few days later happened for me when watching the then latest Orville episode paying tribute to that exact scene, but with their style of humor in a fun homage.
-I will once again raise my hat to whoever Paramount hired for their excellent HD re-mastering of the season two BluRay. There are many great SD-to-HD comparisons in the first season extras and floating on YouTube I recommend checking out to see how well they make TNG hold up to the latest sci-fi shows on TV today. I never fail to light up with every panning, transitional shot of the Enterprise! -I will once again plug the podcast, Star Trek: The Next Conversation for their thorough and entertaining breakdown of every episode in the series. It has been a great way to keep up with extra details that went over my head, and with the hosts also working in TV production it helps bring a unique perspective to TNG. -Speaking of extra features…..damn…..season two is jacked with exponentially more than the first season. There are many hours of original on the set interviews, new interviews and features for when TNG first hit DVD in the early 2000s and all new extra features for the BluRay. I kept a running tally in my notes of all the extras and not including a handful of episodic commentaries there are a little over four hours of extra features! Thank you Paramount for spreading out a couple of features per disc instead of having one disc with all the special features which made it more manageable to consume throughout watching season two. About half of the extras are brand new HD bonuses.
Nearly all the bonus material appealed to me, but I will try and isolate a few I enjoyed the most so you do not have to indulge them all. There is an awesome 17 minute piece where Levar Burton reminisces about his other then-concurring job hosting the hit PBS kids show, Reading Rainbow and how they did a Star Trek themed episode during this time and through interviews how it was the catalyst for many new Star Trek fans. Once again the gag reel does not disappoint and it has a fun singing cameo from Roddenbery. Making It So: Continuing TNG is a two part, 80 minute BluRay exclusive feature I highly recommend where the cast and crew reflect on the big cast changes for season two and the evolution of the show and how they noticed how everyone was starting to feel more in sync and the show was hitting its groove. There are too many big interview moments to mention here highlighting key and controversial moments of the season, but believe me it is a must watch! My final extra feature recommendation, and my favorite of all the bonus features is another BluRay exclusive, Re-Unification: 25 Years After TNG where the entire primary TNG cast sits down for a huge roundtable discussion reflecting on memories and anecdotes from the show for an hour. It was fantastic to take this in, and I could not help but get the feeling that this cast has no doubt stayed in touch through conventions and such over the years because they instantly were gelling with camaraderie and old stories and I could not help but feel like a lucky fly in the wall that happened to be in the room with them overhearing countless memorable moments and interactions from their time on the show. -And that wraps it up for season two of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Minus a few episodes I am real excited with how the show is progressing and as I elucidated above, how everything is falling into place as the show I remembered from my childhood. I cannot wait to start up season three later this week, and from what I understand, that is the perfect jumping on point for the show as nearly the rest of the run of the series is top-notch from there on out.
