#ranboo is an amalgam theory

alright so ranboo released a ARG today and i think its time for me to start talking about my own theories: that ranboo is a creation/amalgamation of two species and rather than being born he was created by someone, maybe he experimented on himself purposefully or was experimented on. i came to this conclusion by focusing on the music he uses just about every stream like from lemon demon and the undertale OST. also because he mentioned he writes all his lore and that me (also being a writer) knows that people get really inspired about what music they base their work off of or are inspired by.

first, spirit phone album. that album’s whole concept is supernatural things, science experiments and strange phenomenon. he uses ‘ancient aliens’, ‘eighth wonder’ and ‘touch tone telephone’ the most on streams not only because they slap but because i think they’re hinting at lore. ancient aliens is about an otherworldly encounter with alien from the perspective of a prehistoric human (cavemen, neanderthal), eight wonder is about gef the talking mongoose and the hoax surrounding it but focuses on the ghost part of the story, and touch telephone is about a scientific break through with some serious mad scientist vibes thrown in.

when put together, what we see is a story thats been hinted at for a while start to unfold. we know nothing about ranboo’s past and neither does he because he can’t remember, but besides lemon demon absolutely slapping and not being dmca maybe ranboo is using this music to hint at an actual character backstory, origin and possible motivation.

now for the undertale OST. he uses the song ‘amalgam’ every stream. if you don’t know, in the game undertale a scientist named alphys experiments on monsters but the results are terrifying

i just read this undertale wiki entry and i find it very interesting that alphys was trying to bring back monsters after being “fallen down”...and that is the most iconic song used in ranboo lore streams from the undertale OST. it does help to know that ranboo also loves undertale and i know writers are often inspired by other media they love.

the lyrics from all of those songs he plays on stream (mostly the lemon demon ones) deserves its own lore based analysis in a separate post to be honest (and it would also take me a while because procrastination)

until we get more concrete evidence for this theory its mostly speculation, well, until it isn’t. ranboo being a science experiment gone right or wrong (depending on how you look at it) has been at the back of my mind for a few weeks but the release of the arg gave me a excuse to finally post about it. if we find more evidence to support this theory, i’ll add on to this post. if you have any evidence or speculation, please add on to this!
