Ramblings down below!

🫣: Who stumbled the most with their feelings around the other? How much did the other person notice?

- Jamil is not the nonchalant cool suave person he thinks he is unfortunately, and although, he’s usually the more flustered one between the two. And the more emotionally constipated 💀 Jamil still feels guilty for the things he’s done to Oz during winter break, and even before that— so he does put a lot more effort. Oz has noticed this though, and he has teased Jamil that it feels unnatural. That he appreciates the effort Jamil does, however he shouldn’t be pressuring himself to act a certain way— it has helped ease Jamil in being less of an over-thinker. Of course they still both have a long way to go, but they’re now taking things at a pace they’re both comfortable with.

🐱: Do they have pet names for each other, if so what are they? How does their partner feel about their pet name?

- Oz has a slight stutter, he has a habit of meshing words or phrases together. Kalim has mentioned the word ‘Habibi’ to Oz and its meaning. Oz has wanted to use it as a petname for Jamil. When he tried to call him that, he got tongue tied and called him ‘Jamimil’ instead. Of course Jamil found it hilarious, however it was also quite endearing to hear Oz say it. He doesn’t really mind it now, and he’d give a small chuckle when he recalls the origins of the petname.

- Jamil usually doesn’t have much petnames for Oz, he tried thinking of one but he found himself cringing in embarrassment. He’d just call Oz by his nickname— lately though he has found himself calling Oz bun (like hun but—)

- I also do like the idea of Jamil referring to his s/o with arabic terms of endearment… he’d use it unexpectedly— and although Oz has no idea what it means, the soft way Jamil whispers it has him flustered (They will be asking Kalim what it means later, causing them to have a cardiac arrest)

🕊️: Give just a general domestic tidbit for em (things they like about each other, routines, habits, and just overall sweet stuff)

- Oz likes to crochet, it keeps his hand and mind busy— lately he’s also enjoyed braiding Jamil’s hair in different ways. The action is similar to his favorite hobby, and it’s also his favorite person he’s braiding with saur 🫣 win-win for them.

- Jamil likes these sessions where he just lays beside Oz, while his hair gets done. Jamil cares a lot for his hair, so to leave it to Oz’s hands are his subtle ways of saying that; ‘I’m comfortable with this.’ and ‘I trust you.’ (I got another ask for this so I’ll add more floof there—)

✏️: How canon compliant are you with them? Do you stick pretty close or just have fun cause it’s your ship so no one can tell you what to do other wise?

- I try to stick close to canon, but of course I am also guilty of letting my delusions win 💀at the end of the day I’m still just here to have fun lol.
